Feb 18, 2013I just changed mine Windows 7 64 bit os to windows 7 32 bit os. After setup all of the driver were installed beside Network Controller which i think the wireless lan is. My laptop is N4110 inspiron.

Nov 23, 2008I've just bought a XPS M1530 Laptop (so excited!). But I have some problem connecting to wireless networks.
My roommates can find and connect to our wireless network, while my machine cannot even find one!! It can't even create wireless networks (ad hoc)
I looked up Dell support, it said to uninstall network driver and restart windows (vista HP, SP1). I did that, after reboot, it could find the available network, but after another reboot, it again didn't work.
I'm pretty sure that nothing is wrong with hardware (since it could find once or twice). But I don know what to do.
System configuration:
Core 2 dua 2.5GHz
Ram: 4GB
Graphic :Geforce 8600gt 256mb
Hard: 320GB
Wireless: Dell Wireless
OS: Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1

Jul 28, 2014I have had this problem a couple times, and each time I had to restart my entire computer and reinstall everything before I could connect again. The computer has no problem connecting with a cable, but it says it can't find Wi-Fi. I would really love to avoid restarting and restoring the computer for a fifth time if I could. I don't know the specifics of the computer, I think it might be a 14z Touch...

Mar 11, 2013I have Dell Inspiron n7110. In my notebook install Dell Wireless 1702 802.11b/g/n. Recently notice that I can not find any Wi-Fi network. But in Task Manager I see that Dell Wireless module is working properly. I reinstall all drivers twice, but it's still don't work and don't find any Wi-Fi network.

I installed windows 7 ultimate, I installed all required drivers, in between the wireless network was working and I could navigate the internet but after I installed all required drivers and Device manager seemed fine my Wireless network dose not work and says :

I tried the network button (Wifi/Bluetooth) changing the mode from white light to yellow light and both modes still not working....

HP Networking :: G7 / Can't Find Wireless Adapter / Installing Driver Doesn't Work
Sep 7, 2014I recently had to open up my HP G7 laptop to blow the dust of my fan and under the keyboard. When I put they keyboard back together, my wifi didn't work. I'm now on a ethernet connection. Opening network connection, there's no wifi adapter icon. I've tried installing the driver, but mid install I get this message "The driver files you wish to remove will not be removed as the corresponding card is not installed". I don't know what this means, but when I finish the install, the wireless connection is still not shown in network connections, and the driver doesnt show on device manager. What else can I try?

Oct 21, 2011I've had my Inspiron N5030 for about 10 months now. I've been using the same wireless router for about 8 months with no problem up until a week or so ago. I started to intermittently have the limited connectivity issue. It would come and go. So I tried to unplug the wireless router and modem. After that it seemed to work okay but the next day I turned on my computer and it wasn't connected at all. It shows my network but when I try to connect it says that windows cannot connect to my network. I'm the person that set up the network so I have the correct key and code and it's worked fine for months so I'm not sure what's causing the issue. I've also tried resetting the router but that doesn't seem to work either. I have a ipod touch that's able to connect to the wireless fine though so whatever the issue is it seems to be with the laptop.

1) new hard drive installed
2) installed OS from Factory CD
3) I have followed the proper sequence for driver installation
4) I tried drivers using my Service Tag and not using service tag (it installed Ethernet but not the Network Controller)
5) i don't see any manufacturer info or model information in the sysinfo or Control Panel properties
