Dec 20, 2014Laptop is prompting for a system password. I've tried the only password I've ever used and it's not working. After three attempts it gives me disable code 53615690.

Oct 16, 2014My daughters cq58 has a power on password that i want to remove so that i can use the laptop for another family member but when i try to enter the bios it will not accept the password. I am sure i set them both to the same.

Nov 13, 2014I was trying to install windows 7 when i got the "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GTP disks etc" Error.
I know i needed to disable something in bios but this laptop's bios isn't very detailed , i tried disabling the Legacy boot and now the laptop doesn't boot up anymore, not even in bios. When i power it on all i get is a black screen and the Caps lock blinks twice.
I tried pressing the windows key+B+ power button for one second while the laptop is shut down but it didn't do anything.
