The seller didn't tell me that the system has a customized bios and a password, instead he announced it as 'password free'. The board is working and I can enter the BIOS but all settings are locked with a password.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was formatting dell inspiron N5050, first we created recovery disks, I tried to do a system recovery first off the partition, after which I was recieveing a BSOD, so I used the recovery disk we created to do the system recovery again this time there was no BSOD however after it said it was setting up windows for first use, it brought me to a log in screen with no user name, asking for a user name and password. It will not accept any of my friends old user names and passwords, I am unable to log into the administrator, and I am unable to log into safe mode cause it needs to set up windows 7 for the first use. How can we log into windows?
