After you get passed the bios password, I received an error telling me that there was a corrupt or missing file. These mini notebooks don't have a CD-ROM. What are my options? These were bought at an auction so we don't have the original CD to reload them.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a Inspiron Mini 1012. I created the restore factory image on a usb through the Dell DataSafe local backup program that it came with. Had no problem installing it. But when I turn on computer and boot into the usb I get an all black screen with the following. BTW the laptop has no problem starting up regularly no issues at all. Will be selling and want to wipe the drive.
