Nov 30, 2014I have a HP Pavilion dv6500. Windows Vista Operating System. At first it just quit coming on. After pushing the F10 key at startup, now it is asking for a password. This is a BIOS password.
The Halt code I get is 07981.
I plan to recycle this computer. I already purchased a new HP Computer, but would like to get some data off this harddrive before disposing of this unit.
