I have an Presario CQ57-383SQ and in device manager, network controller has no driver and i can`t find it and my WI-FI doesn't work it shows that is disabled from device manager i thins it is because of the network controller driver.
And one more....PCI device has no driver and I don't know where to find it.
I am using a notebook (proBook 4530s), with Windows 7, 64-bit, and in the device manager I get a yellow exclamation mark in Network controller even after downloading and installing the respective driver Atheros / Realtek Wireless LAN Driver(s). The driver packacge extracts itself and there is no confirmation of finishing the setup.

Something to do with the display adapter, when I got it fired back up, my wifi wouldn't come on. When I push the wifi button (f12 key), it does nothing, and I can't find my wireless adapter listed in my Device Manager list.

also I cannot get my WiFi adapter to turn on with the button on keyboard - I suspect that it must be my network controller but I cannot locate the driver for it.
I have a HP 17-F049NB and reinstalled Windows 7 from scratch.
Everything seems to work well excepted the Wi-Fi: Windows marks the network controller as not known with the little yellow mark and I just can't seem to find any driver.

The wireless network controller isn't working and has a yellow ! in the device manager. Win7 has no idea what it is. No driver info is displayed and nothing is found when Update Driver is run.
It's definitely a software issue as I can get it working fine if I boot from a linux live CD.

I was tinkering away on my HP Compaq Pressario SQ62-220SB when I somehow deleted some drivers. Not that big of an issue, but I can't get my wireless to work again. The device messenger displays an issue with the Network Controller, which I suppose is the wireless connection.
where to get the fitting drivers? Or what to do?

I bought my HP 15 a few days ago and since yesterday (after I restarted it) it can't find my network. Also, sometimes it finds all the surrounding networks, sometimes one or two, sometimes none of them, but it never shows mine.
All my other devices connect to the network just fine and also when I connect the laptop via Ethernet cable internet works normally. I tried reinstalling the adapter and driver, but nothing happens, the problem is still here.

I have a HP Pavilion dv7-6187cl Notebook and my Network Controller has seemed to quit working. I have tried numerous solutions and none of them have worked. Okay so my system blue screened and so I am attempting to reinstall windoes 7 tho In bios it appears there is no HDD only my small 32 gig sdd appears. When I try to search for the device driver ill also mention that it says drive C is not formatted, Anyways, how do I install device driver to reformat harddrive so that I may reinstall windows7? Have I gotten some kind of virus? I use avast and did not notice any trouble until blue screen.

I have internet from Comcast and the router I am using is Netgear. I recently moved to a new place and am having trouble connecting to the Wifi at home. I've had this laptop for several years now and have been able to connect to some wifi in the past, but there have been times when I haven't been able to connect to wifi in some public places. I am able to connect to the wifi on my phone and another laptop but not this one. I have tried resetting the router and numerous other steps but nothing seems to resolve the problem. Every time I try to connect, it says that the signal strength is excellent, but it is unable to identify the network and says that "the router is unavailable." I have already called my router company but they were not able to resolve the problem. The only way I can connect to the internet is using an ethernet cord.

I have had the HP 620 laptop for about a year now , Recently upgraded it to windows 8 . So... as soon as i open my laptop , everything is fine and the wifi works and everything is basically normal , but when i use the laptop for like 10 min , the wifi randomly shuts off and tells me that i need to connect via an Ethernet cable, and when i do connect to ethernet cable it works . On AC Adapter, it works 100% perfect but in battery mode, it always goes to Limited Connectivity. Repaired it but 25seconds later it gets the same problem. Limited Connectivity every single time. It's an endless cycle. Warranty has expired and I am not happy with it.
Even if repaired, cannot open any website. Full 5 wifi bars but still the same result. Tried manually (TCP/IP Settings IPv4) but didnt work at all.
My wifi driver is Intel Centrino Wireless N 2230 ( 15.12.0.6 version updated from intel.com website).

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently had to open up my HP G7 laptop to blow the dust of my fan and under the keyboard. When I put they keyboard back together, my wifi didn't work. I'm now on a ethernet connection. Opening network connection, there's no wifi adapter icon. I've tried installing the driver, but mid install I get this message "The driver files you wish to remove will not be removed as the corresponding card is not installed". I don't know what this means, but when I finish the install, the wireless connection is still not shown in network connections, and the driver doesnt show on device manager. What else can I try?
