I have two different models that I am trying to connect to my notebook: Nextware Sonic and Jarv earphones, both via bluetooth. I've tried "Add a Device" through the control panel, but the devices don't pair or show up. I can't find Bluetooth in the device manager. Are there any drivers I can download or software on the computer I can activate to solve this, or do I need to buy a bluetooth dongle?

Not to mention that when trying to "buy" another identical computer dockings are never mentioned in the "Buy accessories for your Dell" subpage. I have seen a few cheap, used docking stations on the web, but I don't know if they will work. This is the one I can get really cheap:
Would that work on my Preceision M6500? It's for my second and third office (a.k.a. my wife's pet shop and our cabin by the sea), so I need two dockings. And this way I can save 80 % of the cost!
For some stupid reason the M6500 has no SPDIF output, and I see that there is one on this docking. But I don't care if that works or not, I only use SPDIF at home, and I have an USB sound card with SPDIF there.

it said that the bluetooth driver isn't installed although i've installed " Ralink Bluetooth Software Driver " , But was no new !! This is device manager after installing it :
there is no bluetooth driver installed !!
then i've downloaded " Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth 4.0+HS Driver for Microsoft Windows 8 " & tried installing it , then i got this massage :
Note That :
- at first , all mentioned above occured but bluetooth was working ( sanding & Recieving ) .. But now all the above occured in addition , bluetooth went out and no longer working.
- i've tried "hp Support Assistant" for updating my devices and it can't detect that bluetooth isn't installed.
- you can see in the picture of device manager an " Unknown Device" and when i tried automatic online search for device , there is nothing !!
-In The action Center Notification there is another issue that " hotkey utility key not installed " .

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the HP Pavilion g6 2346 nr and I am missing the Ralnik bluetooth driver ,the last time I saw it in devices it was the 4.0 driver. I downloaded the driver from HP site an hour ago it was in a pkg (sp60071) I opened it and clicked on setup but all it did was install the device and not the driver. The instruction I read were to delete the old driver first which I did and that left me with no bluetooth in the devices column until I clicked setup in the pkg I previosly described.
BTW I can connect to the internet but this driver (bluetooth) is for my bluetooth devices ,cell etc .

I am using HP Pavilion g6 2005ax laptop and I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit OS. I am unable to detect any bluetooth device in my laptop and my laptop's bluetooth also is not detecting in any other device (Say in my cell). When I tried install Broadcom bluetooth 4.0 driver software it showing error "No bluetooth device was detected. Please make sure that your bluetooth device is plugged in properly in order to continue installation". In device manager everything is perfect, i mean no undetected hardware.
