Oct 4, 2013I got my HP Envy dv7-7250us back in May 2013, and realized that the most recent version of its Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver software is 9.17.10.2857 from November 2012. Intel's official driver is now at version 15.31.3.64.3071 (9.17.10.3071) from March 2013. I am unable to install Intel's update though, because it detects HP's version of the driver and refuses to install a generic version. However, HP's current version is very dated, and I'm running into severe performance issues in many games.
Is it possible that HP could ever bring their Intel HD Graphics 4000 drivers up to date?

Jun 12, 2012I am running Win 8.1 x64 (up-to-date) on HP Pavilion 1322TX laptop. There are Intel HD Graphics 3000 and ATM Radeon HD 7450M two graphic cards as the device manager window. Recently I am getting blue screens and later message appear saying the ATM driver stopped working. I found many problems with this driver in the past as well. When I check the relevent page for my laptop model, there is no update since 2012..
Can I update these two drivers seperately by getting updates from Intel and AMD sites?
Is there any update for catalyst control system (CCC) ?
When I try to update through the CCC or HP Support Assist, it is always no updates..
Acer :: Aspire E5-511G / Display Driver Intel Hd Graphics Drivers For Windows 8(r) Stopped Responding
Dec 7, 2014I bought my Aspire E5-511G few days ago.
I installed Windows 7 professional (x64) successfully.
I installed all the drivers downloaded form the support section also successfully.
The problem is that on approximately every 5~10 minutes I get the following message:
"display driver intel hd graphics drivers for windows 8(r) stopped responding and has recovered".
This message by itself is not annoying. The problem is that during skype video call after getting this message I don't see anymore nor my own video nor the video of the called.
Not only this, restarting the call does not fix the problem.
The only solution is to restart skype but this also does not work everytime.
I had similar issue with youtube videos but I fixed the problem by setting NVIDIA as preferred graphics processor for the browser application, however I don;t have such option for skype.

Dell :: Intel WiFi 5300 Not Compatible With T9400
Oct 31, 2008I chose the Intel WiFi 5300 over the WiFi 5100 as I understand it is the better card. However, a few hours later I received an email telling me my order was cancelled because the 5300 was 'unavailable'.
I contacted Dell chat this morning, and was told that the part was available but was incompatible with my processor choice. Apparently the 5300 is a Centrino 2 part, and is only compatible with a Centrino 2 processor. I thought the T9400 was a Centrino 2 processor?
If it's true that the parts are incompatible should I go with the T9400/WiFi 5100 or the P8400/WiFi 5300? The Dell chat guy told me that these were the only compatible configurations. If I try to order T9400/5300 again will my order be cancelled again - anyone else tried this?
HP Pavilion G6 Display :: 1350SD Dedicated GPU (7450M) Only Runs On Intel HD Graphics 3000 (Won't Switch)
Nov 5, 2014I own this laptop for 2 years and still never had my dedicated videocard working. It didn't even work when I bought it off the store o.O so basically i got quite sick of it and tried to get it all fixed up, so I went through everything I could think of, just everything that "Might" fix the problem.
I tried all of this in Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. I've set the videocard options in the bios to both fixed and dynamic. Neither works. All of the drivers have been installed, including the latest AMD Apu driver. (I tried the official one from amd.com and the one from the HP support centre) The graphics settings for both my Intel HD Graphics and my AMD Radeon HD gpu are set to maximum performance. Disabling the HD Graphics 3000 driver so it could only run on the AMD gpu didn't work either. (Actually, everything stopped working in an instance;p) Installing an older driver didn't work either. AC/DC has been plugged in the whole time (This should have effect when settings in bios are set on "Fixed". This was not the case)
I've tried a few more things but it's getting a little bit too long to read;p

Sep 3, 2011I've been having trouble updating my graphics driver. I have a HP Pavillion dv4t 1600 CTO laptop. My operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. My driver device is a Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family, and driver version is 8.15.10.1883 from 8/27/2009. I've been trying to install the lastest from Intel which is 15.17.19.64.2869. However, when attempting to update drivers I receive an error message:
"The driver being installed is not vaildated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the cmputer manufacturer. Set up will exit."
This leads me to the HP website were I attempt to find a suitable update. However, when using the HP updater or manual search, I end with the same type of driver for graphics, sound, and chipset. My problem is: I don't know which one needs to be updated.
I play World of Warcraft, and I receive the message "Your driver device is out of date". That could mean any of them, so while using the Intel Driver Update Utility, none of my drivers appeared. And every time I try to update via HP, it appears that nothing has changed. I'll try to provide as much detail as possible and hope to hear back soon about my problem. Attached below as well are screenshots from the dxdiag window.

I just DBANed the entire hard drive and did a clean install of Windows 7. Everything was able install just fine except for the wireless adapter/driver.
I tried both the Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver and the Ralink 802.11 b/g/n WiFi Adapter linked in my PC model's driver page. On both of them, whenever I click on the downloaded file, nothing happens after the file unpacks, no installers run. I've tried running it regularly and running it as an administrator, I've also tried running the installers directly from where they were unpacked into the C drive, regularly and as an administrator.
All of the other drivers and software on my PC model's driver page installed just fine aside from the wireless, it's the only thing, and the most important thing, that I can't seem to get to work. The version of Windows 7 that shipped with the PC was Windows 7 Home Premium, the version that I have and that I installed is Windows 7 Ultimate. Are the drivers not Ultimate compatible?
I've also considered installing earlier versions of the drivers, but I can't find legacy versions anywhere that doesn't look sketchy.

Mar 14, 2013I purchased a HP Pavilion g6-2320tx Notebook PC two weeks back. I was not able to make a recovery discs. On closer look I was surprised to know that it had six primary partitions, including two recovery drives. While making recovery discs, it (Hard Disk) crashed. My Hard Disk is replaced within 15 days of purchase. Now I am waiting for Operating Softwares Disc from HP. I just wanted to know that can I get a Recovery Drive as we get it at the time of purchase (Factory Reset).

Aug 31, 2012After updating my ccc to version 14.2 , i get a message saying no amd graphics driver detected and i have to again uninstall the entire AMD CCC using AMD clean up utility to reinstall the amd driver given by HP.The driver provided by HP is very old and doesnt support many new games .
