Install the latest driver for the device".

I purchased a HP Pavilion g6-2320tx Notebook PC two weeks back. I was not able to make a recovery discs. On closer look I was surprised to know that it had six primary partitions, including two recovery drives. While making recovery discs, it (Hard Disk) crashed. My Hard Disk is replaced within 15 days of purchase. Now I am waiting for Operating Softwares Disc from HP. I just wanted to know that can I get a Recovery Drive as we get it at the time of purchase (Factory Reset).
My usb ports on my HP Pavilion dv7-6b56nr Entertainment Notebook PC are not working. Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Product # A1T84UA. No matter what I do I can't get them to work. When I go into device manager it is showing a conflict. When I try to update the drivers it says they are up to date. I even tried to do a full system recovery and if it wasn't for an image I saved my computer would have become a paper weight.
I installed Windows 7 64-bit, on my notebook. After that I installed drivers for WIndows 7 64-bit from official HP site, but two USB ports not working, only one works. In device manager i have error on Universal Serial Bus Controler. Where I can find driver?
i bought pavilion dv6-6165tx 2 years back and ibought a new internal hdd as my old one became corrupt , i installed os win 7 pro (licensed ) and drivers from HP online.
now the problem is that my left side usb ports are not working , and also my finger print reader
I keep getting USB Device not recognized on all USB ports on my laptop.
I am running Windows 7 (recently did a restore to clean up computer) service pack 1.
I refreshed the BIOS I tried deleting all drivers, shutting down, taking out the battery and restarting I tried refreshing all USB drivers I tried adjusting the power settings to ensure that all power save mode on USB devices was disabled
Still no luck. Once in a while I can plug something in and it will work for a bit then it becomes disconnected. I think this might be a hardward problem as no software intervention has worked.
I recently downgraded from windows 8 to windows 7 and found out that the two usb ports on the left of my laptop doesn't work anymore i.e., they do not detect anything, be it pendrives or external harddrive. My laptop is HP Pavilion 15-n259TX.
All 4 of the usb ports on my dv8000 stopped working. Ive tried updating the drivers, no luck. It originally had XP as the operating system but it was upgraded to windows 7, i dont knows if the usb drives are corrupt or what. When i plug anything into the usb ports it does nothing.
Due to compatibilty issues with other software i have had to downgrade to Win 7 Pro and am now having issues detected the 2 left side usb 3.0 ports. Have power but can not see any devices connected.Have tried
Intel USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver, Fresco Logic USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver , Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver, NEC Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver
I have upgraded to windows 8.1 and since that moment, my USB ports are not working anymore; tried to check them, but nothing works (de-installation, ...) I have a HP Pavilion 15-B050EB; I cannot find the drivers for the USB ports on the HP site.
I bought a an HP Pavilion g6-2288ca. Uninstalled Windows 8 and installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.My left USB ports are not working. I'm assuming USB3. They have an exclamation mark beside them under device manager. USB Host controller .I've read many solutions, none worked.
#1 Checked the HP drivers page. They don't have ANYTHING listed for USB for the g6-2288ca nor for Windows 7 . #2 I called HP, with no support. They said to check with Microsoft (????) #3 I did all the Windows updates. #4 I installed the full AMD Catalyst driver and software. #5 Updated Bios. (tried to see if I can disable USB3 in the BIOS).. But it wasn't there.
Going to install a SSD to my HP Pavilion Dv6-2119tx (WF606PA) I had a quick look in the bios but no option to turn on AHCI as going to reinstall Windows 7 as not sure if my laptop can handle Windows 8.
Recently I moved to windwos 8.1 from windwos 7 and i have hp pavilion dv6-6b19ej, before when i was using windwos7 beats audio was working perfectly and i was able to enable and disable them usnig (fn+b). After I upgraded to 8.1, I've downloaded the latest drivers form IDT i think oct-2013 but i still cant enable my beats, i have the UI for the beats control panel but i cant use the beats as a hardware fn+b is not working anymore!!!?
I want to enable my RAM in dual channel mode... what is the process to do this? i have already checked in CPU-Z that it is currently in single channel mode.
I have a Pavilion dv7t laptop running Vista. One of the main reasons I bought this was to do audio work in Sony Acid Music and Sony Sound Forge. Well, lo and behold, I can't hear my mic input. I can record audio in using the mic input, but I can't monitor the input as I am using it to know whether it is too loud, too quiet, I am too close to the mic, too far away, etc.
I have done a lot of research on this via google searches and have found that most people solved this (on other laptops or other computers running Vista) by changing the input monitor setting (to enable it) within the windows registry. I dug all through various locations in my reg files and can't find anything on an HP Pavilion dv7t running Vista that corresponds with an input monitor setting.
This is a huge source of frustration. If anyone can let me know how to enable this, I would appreciate it. It's not a matter of right clicking on the speaker in the windows tray and changing anything on playback devices or recording devices. I have tried every possible combination of that and it doesn't work. This is something that needs to be fixed at a root level.
Why HP or Microsoft has this set as a default setting so you can't even monitor your input volume is beyond me.
I have a Dell Latitude E6430 laptop running windows 7 64-bit. When I try to use it with a docking station, the USB ports on the docking station do not work. When I try to use a USB mouse with it, it only works with one of the USB ports. When I try using my printer (HP laserjet 1320) through the USB ports, it doesn't work (it did previously with a Dell latitude E6430 running windows 7 64-bit).
I've installed the latest BIOS upgrade, updated the USB and intel chipset drivers. How do I get these working?
I have a VGN-FW550F and i did a clean install and installed W7 Ultimate. First I had no problems, but after a while all my usb ports went crazy. It is keeps telling that the USB device cannot be recognized, even when I unplug all the USB devices.
I've had this problem before. I couldn't take it anymore so i restored it back to the pre-installed W7HP.
A few days ago i've had to format my hard disk 'cause i've had some problems. I forgot why i delete Windows 7 Ultimate so I've installed the Ultimate version again and now I remember why I deleted Ultimate.
All the USB devices I connect doesn't work anymore How can i fix this?
According to dell, the E6400 has 4 USB 2 ports (1 with powershare) and 1 esata port.
Using the laptop, 2 of the USB ports are on the right and the one with powershare is on the left side along with the esata port. Where is the 4th USB port?
I own a Envy Dv6 operating Windows 8.1... After one particular shut down, all my USB ports refused to work.
I checked my device manager and it showed that all my USB controllers are working properly, but under other devices three new unknown device showed up with an yellow triangle containing an exclaimation mark showed up. Right clicked and it says that the driver is not installed, but I can't seem to find any that the system is willing to recognise.Without USB ports these days, I find it difficult to function properly.
