HP ProBook 450 G1 :: Download Drivers For Windows 8.1 Operating System?
Aug 30, 2014
I resently brought a new laptop probook 450 G1. I want to download drivers for windows 8.1 operating system. When I check the driver download page it list many drivers for e.g under wirless network they list many drivers. How do I know which one to download exactly. I tried finding exact specifications for my product but they only have a general one for the model no which described all posible haredware.
I need the drivers for HP COMPAQ 15-a00tu windows 7(32bit OS) , I searched in HP offical site but there we are having drivers for 64bit OS .How to get the drivers for 32 bits .
HP Pavilion dv6 1352dx, my son is a scientist who set up this his old (to him ) laptop for me as an gift, and it is now running an ubuntu os,can i download driver updates as if it were still on 64 bit windows ....
I recently bought a HP Pavilion DV7, Product Number : LW174UA#ABA, from my friend and decided to install a new operating system onto it. My buddy didn't tell me much about what was wrong with it, other than it ran a little slow. I figured that it was cheap enough and I could easily throw Windows 7 x64 on it, instead of using Windows 8.1 x64 which he had installed on it a while ago, and use it as sort of a backup to my desktop.
I installed a new copy of Windows 7 Professional x64 on it and when the installation was complete I noticed I could not access the internet nor use the usb drives. I went into device manager and discovered that a handful of decives had the warning yellow triangle explanation symbol next to them. I quickly looked at the problem and noticed most of them had Error Code 28. This told me that I will need to install the drivers for the parts.
Okay, that shouldn't be too difficult. I found the WiFi driver and installed it. The issue was solved (temporarily) and I could access the internet.
After searching through forums I found out that my usb problem can be many different issues. I then came to the conclusion that a service pack update (since I could not find any usb drivers) should fix the issue. Nope, the usb drivers still have not been properly installed. On top of that, the internet now truns on and off. I will have access for a few seconds and then my computer tells me that I do not have any conntections.
I already went to the HP drivers site and installed most of the drivers. Things like the finger print scanner I am not too concerned with at this time so I skipped over those.
I currently have a HP ProBook 4540s Notebook PC(Energy Star) laptop and found that my Base System Device Drivers are missing. I have been trying very hard to find them but to no avail.
I'm using HP ProBook 4730s, product A1E71EA. I recently installed windows 7 ultimate x64 and I went to install my drivers. There i have two of them that say 'base system device' when i try to automatically update them using upade driver it says that it cannot do it.Also i have there one that says network controller, one is universal serial bus, pci simple communication and an unknown device.
I have a problem with my laptop, it won't boot up due to "Operating System Not Found", but I've used it already for several times but just yesterday it turned out that "Operating System Not Found". I've tried to check whether the hard drive is a problem and slave it to another laptop but it's still working, it will boot up well in another PC. Now I tried to insert a bootable USB drive just to reformat it for it to work again, but still it won't work. My bootable USB drive is detected and can be found in the boot options but if I select the drive for boot it still says "Operating System Not Found". Then I went searching over the net then I found something that might work like having it boot in Legacy BIOS mode, it boot up then but the problem is my display is distorted and fading, there are lines and overlapping display.
Thinking about getting a 15" MBP for the great hardware design and ability to still run whatever OS I choose. Not an Apple "fanboy," so to speak, but I appreciate the design (and ~7-hour battery life).
Unless I can get Evernote up and running the way I like, I'll need to use Microsoft OneNote quite a bit. My question is this -- given that I've never worked with OS virtualization / VMs before, just how seamless is VirtualBox running any given Windows operating system with Office running inside of that? Would my OneNote notebooks just be saved somewhere in my home directory in OS X, readily accessible for backups and the like?
I have hp pavilion dv6 win 7, originally vistaOne day I got a black screen sayingwindows boot manager , windows failed to startFile: ootBCDstatus: Oxcooooood Windows boot configuration data file is missing required information.
Then I stopped getting it, but when turning laptop on Error loading operating system appeared.I've tried boot disk win 7, win vista nothing is working.
Manufacturer had given inbuilt windows 7 operating system which start by pressing F11 at boot.
At the time of installing external operating system through DVD, I unfortunately, by mistake I deleted all existing partition, I think, I deleted that partition which contain inbuilt OS in hard drive.
Now I am willing to install inbuilt OS by pressing F11, but this way not working. How I can install inbuilt windows 7 operating system just as previous start from by pressing F11 at boot.
HP Pavilin dv4...i recently installed linux Ubuntu to re format my laptop then changed my mind and want to install windows 7 but have been un able to install it using a dvd or a thumb drive. i do not have an offical windows 7 operating system disk.
I am just interested with the update. but it says, "cannot complete the update due to its compressed operating system"... how can we update such a case?
I have an inspiron 1545, and recently a message that said "missing operating system" appeared when I booted it up. I tried pressing f8 and control+f11 but neither of those work. I also tried reinstalling my windows 7 but after it says "starting windows" it just goes to a black screen with a curser. I'm willing to restore it completely if its nessecary.
Came to a point when I should completely restore the OS on my Acer Aspire 4752. Neither through Alt+F10 nor through eRecovery am I able to get around a Notice with the following "please complete operating system setup process before doing system recovery". There is only one option of this notice, that is to ok it and then the current Windows 7 Home Premium OS starts and I am not able to get out of this viscous circle. The OS works and is completely set up, so I do not understand what am I prompted to do. I see a number of postings out there, but no solution. Local Acer does not seem to know anything about the problem nor it's existence.
I installed windows 8.1 on my Probook 450 G1 and I could not find any ATI Radeon 8750M drivers to it. The windows 8 drivers are not working properly in windows 8.1 ...
I have a HP Probook 440 G1 laptop with Windows 7 Enterprise edition installed. I'm unable to find any drivers for the enterprise edition on the HP support page.

I installed windows 8.1 into my Probook 450 G1 and I could not find any ATI Radeon 8750M drivers to it. The windows 8 drivers are not working properly in windows 8.1 .
I had to re-install Windows after a hacker locked my system. I hadn't had the unit long, so didn't lose tons of important data or files. But, I hadn't had time to really get to know my system either....so now I have the new issue of trying to determine what all the hardware is that is not recognized. I thought I would come to hp.com, find my drivers, download and be DONE.
(HP ProBook 4440S running WIndows Home Premium, 34 Bit)
I have yellow exclamation marks on the following devices in Device Manager:
1. Base System Device 2. Base System Device 3. Ethernet Controller 4> Network Controller 5. PCI Simple Com Device 6. USB Controller 7. Unknown Device
If there weren't SO MANY drivers, this could be simple!
I am in a bit of a tango in the head over which OS I should pick for my Mini 9 - Windows XP SP3 OR Linux? Only 1GB maximum is available to the XP system while 2GB max is available to Linux.
i have got an extra internal HDD which is 250gb. so i m planning to install some other operating system just to see how they work. like linux. where can i get the driver if i want to install Linux. and what about Linux Operating system.
I have always bought Dells but am leaning more towards HP and am baffled by the fact that the CSR says I cannot get a laptop with an operating system disk for use with the laptop I am purchasing. I would gladly pay a fee for the disk as I have when I have purchased my Dells.
Is there any way (other than just purchasing the operating system outside of the the HP purchase) to have HP include a oem disk with my purchase?
