I’m hoping someone can help me as I’ve tried everything (which my knowledge is very limited) that I know what to do and I am unable to fix the problem I am having.
I have a Dell Inspiron 710M which is no longer under warranty and yesterday I received the following error upon boot-up. The 710M was purchased in February 2006. Windows XP Home Edition SP3 was installed.

I tried everything and still need drivers for DV7-6C63NR:
SM Bus Controller
Â
Network Controller
Â
also I cannot get my WiFi adapter to turn on with the button on keyboard - I suspect that it must be my network controller but I cannot locate the driver for it.

Recently my hard drive started to fail. I purchased a new drive, installed a Windows 7 ISO onto a flash drive, installed it etc. I have an HP G60-237NR. I was reinstalling everything, and then I went to the drivers page for my laptop. I started installing stuff, by that time I was bored so I was going sort of from the bottom up if that order matters, I can give more details on that if I need to. I downloaded the BIOS update, since I thought "Okay, it listed it for my computer, I probably do need to update it since my laptop's like 6 years old".
Flashed the BIOS, my computer shut down, and then didn't restart like I thought it was supposed to.I turned it on and got " 104- Unsupported wireless network device detected. System halted. Remove device and restart." I tried to look up what to do, what I found said remove the network card, downgrade bios, plug it back in and you're good. Well I unplugged my network card and the two snap on wires that attached it, did all the stuff, and restarted it. I got the same error.
I meant to say I plugged my network card back in, but still got the error. In case I had gotten the snaps on wrong, I switched the snaps and double checked the card connections, but still nothing. Everything I found said that should have worked, I'm on the same BIOS version I started with but it won't recognize my network adapter.

I have Acer Aspire 5050, and I very satisfy with it. But...when I reinstall windows XP professional could not install Network Controller. They are staying with question sign(?) in device list.. Now, when I connect to the internet, after some time windows shown me a "Win32 generic host error", or something like that. With that error my internet connection become broken and I could not disconect manualy. Instead manual disconnection, I need to restart computer to gain again internet connection... Does anyone knows what is a problem and where I could find network controller drivers(I tried at www.acer.com and could not find the network controll drivers)?

I have a strange problem on my Acer 7720G notebook (PM965 chipset).
The internal Broadcom 5787 is not detected. When I put a cable in the LAN port, no Leds are lit.
Strange enough, the UUID in the Bios has a value, which means that the Bios recognizes a LAN device.
Is there a keyboard combination that shuts down the internal LAN controller?

My wireless is not working yet. I'm assuming its because Network Controller is not installed yet. How to install the Network Contoller driver for Inspiron 1525?
1) new hard drive installed
2) installed OS from Factory CD
3) I have followed the proper sequence for driver installation
4) I tried drivers using my Service Tag and not using service tag (it installed Ethernet but not the Network Controller)
5) i don't see any manufacturer info or model information  in the  sysinfo or Control Panel properties
Only way to possibly identify the wireless card is from the card itself and that isn't mush work either:

The model of my HP Pavillion is 15-b146sa and I'm using Windows 7 ultimate x64 (and I always did). The problem is that when I try to instal any driver, I do it, but a few seconds later it asks me to choose between two options. First one is: Reinstal, using recommended settings Second one is: This program installed correctly.
Â
No matter what I choose, the driver is  not installed.

I recently did a factory image restore on my PC, but before I did the most recent restore, I did the same thing and tried to update the driver and it worked like a charm. This time, its not so easy.Â

The wireless network controller isn't working and has a yellow ! in the device manager. Win7 has no idea what it is. No driver info is displayed and nothing is found when Update Driver is run.
Â
It's definitely a software issue as I can get it working fine if I boot from a linux live CD.

I was tinkering away on my HP Compaq Pressario SQ62-220SB when I somehow deleted some drivers. Not that big of an issue, but I can't get my wireless to work again. The device messenger displays an issue with the Network Controller, which I suppose is the wireless connection.Â
Â
where to get the fitting drivers? Or what to do?Â

I bought this laptop for my son to use and like many, he didn't care for Windows 8. So, I downloaded the drivers for the laptop and then did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional. I have been unable to find a driver that will work for the Network Controller. The drivers you can download on the Lenovo site do not work. This computer is useless to him unless we can get the wireless working.
