I have a HP 17-F049NB and reinstalled Windows 7 from scratch.
Everything seems to work well excepted the Wi-Fi: Windows marks the network controller as not known with the little yellow mark and I just can't seem to find any driver.   Computer infos:   Ref: HP 17-F049NB Motherboard ref: Hewlett-Packard 227F 77.15 Product NO: J3S43EA#UUG
The wireless network controller isn't working and has a yellow ! in the device manager. Win7 has no idea what it is. No driver info is displayed and nothing is found when Update Driver is run. ¬† It's definitely a software issue as I can get it working fine if I boot from a linux live CD. ¬† Computer: hp 15-g020ca Driver page: Software & driver downloads HP 15-g020ca Notebook PC | HP¬ģ Support (There's nothing there for a wireless card.)
I am using a notebook (proBook 4530s), with Windows 7, 64-bit,  and in the device manager I get a yellow exclamation mark in Network controller even after downloading and installing the respective driver Atheros / Realtek Wireless LAN Driver(s). The driver packacge extracts itself and there is no confirmation of finishing the setup.
I have an Presario CQ57-383SQ and in device manager, network controller has no driver and i can`t find it and my WI-FI doesn't work it shows that is disabled from device manager i thins it is because of the network controller driver.   And one more....PCI device has no driver and I don't know where to find it.
I tried everything and still need drivers for DV7-6C63NR:
SM Bus Controller   Network Controller   also I cannot get my WiFi adapter to turn on with the button on keyboard - I suspect that it must be my network controller but I cannot locate the driver for it.
I have Acer Aspire 5050, and I very satisfy with it. But...when I reinstall windows XP professional could not install Network Controller. They are staying with question sign(?) in device list.. Now, when I connect to the internet, after some time windows shown me a "Win32 generic host error", or something like that. With that error my internet connection become broken and I could not disconect manualy. Instead manual disconnection, I need to restart computer to gain again internet connection... Does anyone knows what is a problem and where I could find network controller drivers(I tried at www.acer.com and could not find the network controll drivers)?
i bought a acer laptop @ bestbuy and it came with preinstall vista home. i used the computer fine and all and the internet connects to my router find and was surfing the internet. i then decided to install a fresh copy of my own vista ultimate because i dont like the preinstall stuff that they did because it just clutters up space. after i finish my install of vista ultimate, my laptop doesn't connect to the internet. i know this is simply but i dont see network adapters under the device manager in the computer management screen. i am worried because if i have to install the driver, then i would see some icons with a yellow exclamation mark, but i dont see NETWORK ADAPTERS AT ALL. i dont know how to solve this? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks all. i've tried to press scan for new hardware changes but still i dont see the network adpaters. i thought if you install vista ultimate, then it will install the wireless drivers for you too.

The model of my HP Pavillion is 15-b146sa and I'm using Windows 7 ultimate x64 (and I always did). The problem is that when I try to instal any driver, I do it, but a few seconds later it asks me to choose between two options. First one is: Reinstal, using recommended settings Second one is: This program installed correctly.   No matter what I choose, the driver is  not installed.   Network Controller Info PCIVEN_168C&DEV_0032&SUBSYS_1838103C&REV_01
