Nov 4, 2007I need to know how to get the memory cover off. Even after removing the four screws it acts like one corner near the indent by the RAM icon is snapped into it or glued down. The cover is huge, over half the bottom of the case.
I'm also interested in upgrading the 1.73 Ghz Celeron M 530 if it's possible. Eventually I plan to upgrade the DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo drive to a DVD burner, so the manual will be handy for that too.

Acer :: Can't Boot From CD On Aspire 2920
Mar 6, 2010i wan to format an acer aspire 2920. I shut down the pc and put the recovery cd in but the system still opening a windows and didnt read the CD. and i didnt saw this word "press any key to boot from CD". How do I get it to boot from the cd-rom. I went into setup to change the boot sequence to boot from cd 1st but cd isn't listed as a boot option. It has HDD, ODD, USB, PCI LAN as boot options to select from in that order.

Acer Aspire 2920 :: How To Reset Default Monitor (Laptop Screen)
Jan 6, 2015I have an Aspire 2920 laptop with Windows Vista Home Edition O.S. It starts and works fine except that after I was using it with an external monitor (a flat screen tv) on the option to use external monitor, it only now starts thinking the monitor is the flat screen tv and does not recognizes the normal laptop screen. The laptop screen is now "pixeled" and only shows like 2/3 of its total width. I've checked in Control Panel and it has the flat screen registered as the "normal" monitor, but I can not way a find to tell the computer that the monitor is the same as usual and not the flat screen tv.
