Acer :: TimelineX 4820TG Screen - Pixel Borders Are Very Prominent Especially The Longitudinal Borders

I just bought a 4820TG and I am really dissappointed by the screen. It is very grainy, one can see the pixels even from half a meter away. It seems as if the pixel borders are very prominent especially the longitudinal borders so that one can see longitudinal "lines" across the screen (most prominent with a white background).

So I thought it is just mine and went to different stores to check. But they all are like that (have seen at least 5 other 4820TG's).

I am not sure if this is suppose to be like that - a feat to make it more bright or more sharp - but it really annoys me big time. Especially when comparing it to my old laptop who does not have that, where you have to get really close to the screen an focus quite hard to make the pixels visible.
