Can't seem to find a latitude with the specs I want. Unfortunately, when I find it, the system is gone thats what I get for being slow. My question is if I call Dell, how is the pricing over the phone compare to online and would I be able to use a coupon over the phone?
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the E-View stand and/or port replicator.
I use my E6500 with an external monitor in an extended desktop and would like a hot dock/undockable setup, and the stand and replicator sound like they would work well for this purpose.
I have a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC tx1218au working on Windows Vista Home Premium and AMD processor and NVIDIA graphics. I have installed the latest updates for my laptop. The problem that I am currently facing started more than a year back and is still in continuity. I have uploaded photos on my laptop and on initial stages I was able to view and edit them with ease. Later on I was unable to view the photos. Even when I load any new photos from my camera I am not able to view them. The photos donot seem to be corrupt. I have tried attaching these photos to my email and opening the same on my desktop and viewing them from my desktop.
I have this desktop which runs on Windows XP and Intel Processor. Whenever I try to open any of my photos with any of the software programs other than Quicktime, the laptop immediately stops working and it does some memory dumping and then my laptop starts again. When I open these photos with Quicktime, it gives me a message that my image is corrupt and it cannot open this file. Most of the photos appear as corrupt on Quicktime except for a select few which opens but in such a way that the photo is painted in color blue or showing some shadowy images. Because of this above problem I am not able to work with my photos on my laptop.
I have always been able to view large icons in my folders in windows file explorer. Then one day I couldnt. I have to right click and choose 'preview' to see the image. How do I fix that ?
Pardon me if this is in the wrong section. But I was going to buy a refurbished Dell Latitude, but when I try clicking on check inventory button, it says sorry page not found.
Is anyone else having this problem? I know the home section works, only the business section doesn't
I'm curious to hear what experiences you all have had with laptops from Dell Outlet (looking at Latitude D630). Was it a scratch-and-dent, refurbished, previously ordered new, etc.?
I would upgrade to 3-year Pro Support and Warranty and buy additional accessories (docking station, router, etc.).
Is it worth the risk? Will they take it back no questions asked or do I have to pay 15% restocking fee? (Dell was ambiguous about this).
i'm considering buying an e6400 from the outlet and i've been trying for days to find a configuration that i'm happy with. i've noticed that the hardest to get "right" are the screen and battery which is where this question comes in.
when i get an outlet "scratch/dent" or "cert refurb" are the batteries the original ones or are they new? i ask because if they're the old ones, there isn't too much of a point in getting a 9 cell over 6 cell because the batteries have probably lost a bit of capacity already.
I just purchased this system for $605 (ex tax) in the outlet for my aunt, who is barely computer literate. She'll use it for email and skype. She needs Ultimate for foreign language support.

I was planning on using a coupon at the dell outlet to get a better deal, but today while looking for the perfect system for me I saw this:
ABOVE PRICES INCLUDE ANY APPLICABLE DISCOUNTS. All systems refurbished. Supplies limited to stock on hand. Offers subject to change, not combinable with all other offers. Taxes, shipping, handling and other fees apply. Purchase limit of 5 systems/customer/week. For Dell Outlet U.S. purchases only. Dell reserves right to cancel orders arising from pricing or other errors.
Is it 21 days or 30 with the Outlet Latitudes? Also my invoice states the March 9th so I would have to the request for a refund due to not getting the right item on the 27th the latest as they are closed on the weekend correct ??
Just bought a Dell Mini 9 from the outlet shop in the UK. Have given it to my parents who are off to the north america for a year. I really wanted a mini 9 with a 3g card, but in the UK they are only available from vodafone with 24 month contract. ah well.
To my surprise it turned up with a 3g card installed and the vodafone s/w installed, l added my own sim card and tested and it worked first time.
Is this the normal or was l lucky? As l might buy a second one for my wife if l can get it with 3g again.
I have also removed the 1gb stick and replaced with a 2gb one. £195 inc VAT and delivery from the outlet store, plus £20.99 for the 2gb stick
This certified refurbished Studio 1745 in dell outlet seems not bad with Core 2 Duo P8700 (2.53GHz)/ 500GB HD (7200 RPM) /4GB SDRAM/ 512MB ATI MHD 4570.
Which is $919, and the final price is $ 781 with the 15% off coupon.
The recent addition of the 4670 option is what sold me on the SXPS 16, but I am ok with waiting a bit to save some money.
I guess my question is: in general, how long does it take new products to appear on the outlet website? or if you KNOW when the 4670 SXPSs will hit, can you tell me that?
