View 10 Replieswww.dell.com/outlet has 1st generation Studio XPS 16's on the outlet as I write this.
There are now 24 SXPS16's on the Outlet. Max price is $2469, minimum is $859
Highest price is $1,499, lowest is $879.
All come with the HD 3670 graphics. Some with Blu Ray + RGB 1080p screen
The 15% off outlet coupons are gone now, right? I just found a good SXPS 1640 8gb ram system..
View 10 Replies View RelatedPardon me if this is in the wrong section. But I was going to buy a refurbished Dell Latitude, but when I try clicking on check inventory button, it says sorry page not found.
Is anyone else having this problem? I know the home section works, only the business section doesn't
Are the products sold through the Dell Outlet as good as ordering brand new? I am interested in a Studio 15 laptop, but a new one is beyond my budget.
A previously ordered new can be bought in the outlet for as little as about $650 or so. What am I losing by buying from the outlet rather than new?
I'm curious to hear what experiences you all have had with laptops from Dell Outlet (looking at Latitude D630). Was it a scratch-and-dent, refurbished, previously ordered new, etc.?
I would upgrade to 3-year Pro Support and Warranty and buy additional accessories (docking station, router, etc.).
Is it worth the risk? Will they take it back no questions asked or do I have to pay 15% restocking fee? (Dell was ambiguous about this).
i saw this searching the outlet
http://outlet.us.dell.com/ARBOnlineS...X2F&POPUP=true
was under 4400 after rebate i think its a great deal fully loaded
i'm considering buying an e6400 from the outlet and i've been trying for days to find a configuration that i'm happy with. i've noticed that the hardest to get "right" are the screen and battery which is where this question comes in.
when i get an outlet "scratch/dent" or "cert refurb" are the batteries the original ones or are they new? i ask because if they're the old ones, there isn't too much of a point in getting a 9 cell over 6 cell because the batteries have probably lost a bit of capacity already.
I just purchased this system for $605 (ex tax) in the outlet for my aunt, who is barely computer literate. She'll use it for email and skype. She needs Ultimate for foreign language support.

I was planning on using a coupon at the dell outlet to get a better deal, but today while looking for the perfect system for me I saw this:
ABOVE PRICES INCLUDE ANY APPLICABLE DISCOUNTS. All systems refurbished. Supplies limited to stock on hand. Offers subject to change, not combinable with all other offers. Taxes, shipping, handling and other fees apply. Purchase limit of 5 systems/customer/week. For Dell Outlet U.S. purchases only. Dell reserves right to cancel orders arising from pricing or other errors.
Does this mean I can't use a coupon code?
I have had a bad experience with dell outlet and am weary of purchasing another unit...
Has anybody had any good experiences with the outlet and if so, what unit did you buy and for how much?
I have a choice to buy an M4400 from either dell outlet or ascendtech for the same price; $900. However, the latter offers an core 2 extreme x9100
(instead of a 2.4 P from the outlet) but with only 30 days warranty! I hear that dell outlet offers 3 years warranty...
I don't know much about Precision station quality or reliability so I want to know your opinion about which I should go for. In my head
Is it 21 days or 30 with the Outlet Latitudes? Also my invoice states the March 9th so I would have to the request for a refund due to not getting the right item on the 27th the latest as they are closed on the weekend correct ??

View 10 Replies View RelatedI want to get a durable work station notebook and narrowed down my choices to the Precision M4400, HP Elite Book and Thinkpad W500.
Getting the Precision from the Outlet seems the cheapest option. Anyone have any experience getting a laptop from there?

View 10 Replies View RelatedJust bought a Dell Mini 9 from the outlet shop in the UK. Have given it to my parents who are off to the north america for a year. I really wanted a mini 9 with a 3g card, but in the UK they are only available from vodafone with 24 month contract. ah well.
To my surprise it turned up with a 3g card installed and the vodafone s/w installed, l added my own sim card and tested and it worked first time.
Is this the normal or was l lucky? As l might buy a second one for my wife if l can get it with 3g again.
I have also removed the 1gb stick and replaced with a 2gb one. £195 inc VAT and delivery from the outlet store, plus £20.99 for the 2gb stick
Does the Dell Outlet offer the same 21-day return policy as the regular dell online store?
View 7 Replies View RelatedThis certified refurbished Studio 1745 in dell outlet seems not bad with Core 2 Duo P8700 (2.53GHz)/ 500GB HD (7200 RPM) /4GB SDRAM/ 512MB ATI MHD 4570.
Which is $919, and the final price is $ 781 with the 15% off coupon.
The recent addition of the 4670 option is what sold me on the SXPS 16, but I am ok with waiting a bit to save some money.
I guess my question is: in general, how long does it take new products to appear on the outlet website? or if you KNOW when the 4670 SXPSs will hit, can you tell me that?
I'm looking at purchasing an Inspiron Studio 1555 laptop for a friend through the dell outlet store in the UK.
However all the processors show up as 'Click System ID - 0'
See [url]
Dumb as it sounds, can anyone confirm for me that the refurbished models do in fact come with a processor and what spec it is?
I emailed Dell a week ago and still have had no response, which I suspect is par for the course.
There are some great prices on 1530s in the outlet. I`m thinking this might be a good time to pick 1 up.
My question is: since these are computers that are already built, can you find out which screen manufacturer you`re getting when you order? I`d love to know I`m getting an LG.
I plan on buying a Vostro 1310/20 or Latitude E4300 from the outlet after the Windows 7 free upgrade date (June 28th I believe). Will Windows 7 be a free upgrade for outlet purchases?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI am considering getting a Latitude e6400 from the dell outlet, but was wondering whether any of you remember/know whether refurbished systems normally qualify for microsoft's free operating system upgrade? Here it would be for a free upgrade from vista business to Windows 7 professional (manufacturers including dell supposed to announce these programs on friday)
If the system doesn't qualify, I'll go ahead and order a refurbished system from Dell Outlet before Friday, or buy a new system on Friday.
When Purchasing a Dell Latitude E4300.. Do I have to have a company in order to make a purchase for the Latitude E4300? I'm just buying it as a personal computer.. not a business.
View 10 Replies View RelatedHave purchased quite a few systems from Dell (usual channels and outlet) first time I had this happen on an outlet order.
Decided over the weekend to take advantage of the 15% coupon and order a Latitude from the outlet. My estimated delivery date was 9/4.
Monday afternoon I get an email stating my order will be delayed, new ETA 9/14. Wasn't able to call during the day but suprisingly late in the evening I see the status change to Shipped, ETA was still showing 9/14. Tracking info has not been available ("temporarily unavailable"). Today again, I missed the customer support window to call so I though I would try automated, it states shipping will not happen until the 8th (kind of explains the 14th as the ETA)
Does anyone have any ideas? Any guesses on how much they will cost?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI'd like to get a SXPS 16 from the outlet and was wondering if there is a certain timeline they use for adding systems?
View 5 Replies View RelatedJust ordered a S&D M1710 from the Dell Outlet with a 7600G chip (woo) and 7950GTX to replace my "ailing" off-warranty Gen2. I also ordered a three year warranty with CompleteCare, something I *didn't* get on the Gen2.
I'm expecting the scratches and/or dents will be superficial at best, and I can deal with that. If the notebook was heavily damaged I'd assume Dell would just junk it and sell the salvageable parts as "refurbished." Should they *not* be, however...
1) Does CompleteCare "cover" damage that was already done to the notebook at point of sale? If the notebook is damaged beyond my level of comfort, does CompleteCare cover its repair, since I'm assuming it'll be a lid or chassis problem. Or is this a case of "someone else broke it, and *you* bought it?" I would think the logic of the situation would be that (and please do not read into this as I'm not this type of person) if I damaged the notebook myself accidentally, I assume they wouldn't just fix the dents *I* put in it. =/
2) If the "damages" are severe, does the Outlet have the same 21 day return policy (or *any* return policy) regardless of whether an item is refurbished, off-lease, or S&D? EDIT: Found the answer to this one myself, it's the same return policy with a possible 15% restocking fee.
3) Could anyone with *past buying experience* (or knows someone and can recount their experience) with the Outlet please tell me what to expect and how your refurb or S&D part arrived?
4) Not a question, but yes I'm aware I bought an "older" and therefore "non-1337" model. I don't much care about DX10 at the moment, and also didn't feel like spending 2500 for a new notebook that is *slower* graphically than my 7800GTX was or 3500+ on a SLI 8800GTX setup and gives me more pain in driver support. Sufficed to say, the difference between 1900 dollars and 2500-3500+ dollars is not "slight." So if you're going to post in here and say something to the effect of "why didn't you buy a 1730," please don't bother and keep the discussion on topic.
And before anyone asks:
T7600G / 2GB (upgrading to 4GB despite the chipset limitation) / DD DVD-R/W / 7950GTX / Vista Ultimate ("downgrading" to XP with my Gen2's disc) / Intel N-Band Card ("downgrading" to a Gigabyte PCIe SuperG to take advantage of my existing network)
