HP 15-r018dx OS/Software :: Ethernet / Wireless Not Functioning And No Drivers For Some Devices
Oct 31, 2014
Notebook 15-r018dx - Product G9D76UA#ABA
I've downgraded from pre-installed Windows 8.1 64-bit to Windows 7 64-bit, but Ethernet/Wireless not functioning, and no drivers for some devices.I tried the Realtek driver installer from HP website (SP65599.exe), but no go.
I have an Acer Aspire 5950G laptop and 2 weeks ago I purchased a new Asus DSL-ac68U modem router. After spending an hour on the phone with Asus getting the wretched thing set up, we are finally up and running. Last week I was asked to reboot the modem and ever since then the laptop has not been able to see any wireless devices, or if it does, they aren't the right things.
For example it may display a NAS drive but it's actually showing a playlist on the main pc, it sees a pvr but the files can't be accessed.
If I try and input the IP of the NAS it claims the user can't be authenticated, however sharing is turned on on the NAS.
I can connect to the internet wirelessly and browse to pages on the laptop with no problem but it just refuses to see the recognise the correct thing as the NAS drive and permit access to the files on the PVR.
I have a new XPS 1530 & was trying to find the specs on the components & couldn't find any. Could someone tell me the specs, or where I can find them on my computer? I'd like to find the following:
Ethernet -- 10/100 OR 10/100/1000 Firewire (1394) -- 400 or 800
Also, for the wireless card for Intel WiFi 4965AGN 1) is it dual band, 2) what speed (Mbps)?
I was connected to the internet through my WiFi connection but suddenly the PC restarted after which Windows wasn't showing any wireless networks (see image 3). When I went inside PC settings, it displayed a message (see image 1) that there no wireless devices on this PC. Even in the taskbar instead of the WiFi icon, the LAN icon is displayed. And under PC Settings/Connection, only Ethernet and VPN options are displayed (no wireless connections).I do not know what went wrong. Is there some external switch to turn on the network adapter?
OS: Win 8.1PC: HP Pavilion 15
In image 1, now Bluetooth device is shown after auto install of an HP update, but no WiFi networks.
I recently reformatted and installed xp on my Aspire 5680-6123, and finding drivers is tough. Ive got most of the things working, except for the Ethernet adapter. The drivers ive tried are the broadcom ones from the acer site, but nothing seems to work. The default drivers xp wants to install do not work either.
Maybe im just doing something wrong, installing the drivers incorrectly.
link to download the drivers of the ethernet of this computer i only got 2 days to get it ive been looking for hours whats the drivers name but couldnt get it
I have a problem with my wireless devices on my Hp envy 15 notebook k000nx - Windows 8.1. I have tried many ways to turn on the wireless network by reinstalling drivers from hp website and turn off the airplane mode.
Even when i use the troubleshooter it only sees the cable problem. But there is no sign of my wireless or the bluetooth they are just gone. And here is some picture for my problem ..
After a recovery without the recovery disks and without the recovery partition I could install most of the drivers, but I can't find, or I'd say that there are some that I don't know yet. These are the descriptions that appear in Device Manager plus the Hardware IDS
I have pavillion G6 - 2225tu and have installed windows 7 (64- bit). I could not find the wifi drivers and other devices drivers such as , ( bluetooth controller, PCI device, ethernet controller, etc ) .
I have a hp mini 210-2145. It had windows 7 home edition 32bit on it but I formatted it and put windows 7 professional 64 bit on. I cant get the wifi to work. I finally got the regular plug in to work but still no wifi. I have went to the driver site and installed both chip sets. and downloaded a bunch of the internet drivers listed on the network drivers list. After installing a bunch of them i noticed the system scan. It detected that i had a 802.11b/g/n WLAN. Thats the irst one on the site so i redownloaded and instaled it and it still isnt working. In the device manager it shows the yellow exclamation and just says ethernet controller.
I just recently had to do a clean install of windows 7 64 bit on a pavilion 15t-n200 notebook pc and discovered to my distress that the drivers page for this model doesn't have all the drivers such as display, ethernet, audio, and a few others that aren't installed. Support assistant doesn't recognize the missing drivers but they are shown as missing in device manager and don't come up with any Microsoft updates either.
I have downgraded my HP 15-g019wm to Windows 7 from 8.1. I have found all the drivers but could not find the touchpad and ethernet port driver. I have tried looking for the synaptics driver but it was only available for windowd 8.1 on HP website and could not find a windows 7 driver.
The brightness on my HP 15-r018dx Notebook PC won't change, not using the function keys or the slider in "Power Options". This started happening two days ago; before then I had no issues. I am not sure what changed between then and now.
This crap card keeps crapping out on me, like I have a strong signal one min. then it go to a poor signal then it' turns it's self off, right now I running windows 7 drivers ....

I am installing Vista 32 for a friend on his Aspire 1810TZ. A very new model I believe.
As yet I havn't been able to sourse the correct Wifi drivers. The drivers from the Acer site (intel 5100 and Atheros) Fail. The Atheros drivers tell me that the card isnt present whilst the intel drivers tell me that they may not be compatible then after installing, the device is reported as working properly but the front switch fails to turn the wireless on and, no networks are found in range. The intel diagnostic software reports the wireless as being switched off and sometimes as being on but with no networks to scan.
Any ideas as to what wireless device is present in this model or whether I should be looking at the wireless switch itself as a source of the problem?
I have just instaled a new hard drive in a 3050 and i have installed windows xp, as it used to have vista. i have installed all the drivers for sound, card reader, graphics and all is good. But, i cannot get the wireless to work, even after instaling the drivers. it will work with a wireless dongle ok and go online.
I have a new HP 255 G2 laptop. I instaled Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit operating system and downloaded the drivers from HP Support Center. None of the Wireless LAN drivers work. In Device Manager, the Network Controller's Hardware ID is PCIVEN_168C&DEV_0036&SUBSYS_217F103C&REV_01
I have a Acer TravelMate 2420 that my sister gave me last year. I formatted the HD and wiped out the partition section on the HD. I found all the drivers that I needed except my wireless doesnt work. I have downloaded every different wireless driver from the acer site and nothing works. OH, my sister lost the Recovery Disc for this computer as well. When i go to my device manager, there is yellow "?" beside the following"
Other devices: ------------- Network Controller? ------------- PCI Modem?
I have an HP Envy 15t (model k000) that I recently did a clean install of Windows 7 64bit onto when I put an SSD in it. I have been able to get all of the drivers for it except the wireless controller from the HP website. Is the wireless driver available somewhere?
I have installed windows 7, 64 bits, on a HP 15-d053sq laptop and the provided wireless drivers do not work. Where and if there are compatible drivers for windows 7?
I need to download drivers for the dell Wireless 5530 Mobile Broadband Built-in Mini-Card.
I have searched various dell sites with no joy! I can find drivers for the 5520 no problem but they won't work. I've had no joy with the vista driver update feature either.
I am reloading my laptop and have downloaded all the wireless drivers listed on the HP support site for my machine. None of them are working for my wireless. I am running Win 7 32bit. Is there some other place I should be looking?
I recently bought HP 15-d009tu Notebook PC.I do not have any drivers installation CD along . How and where can I get the wireless lan driver for HP 15-d009tu Notebook PC which will support the Windows 8 32 bit ?
I reinstalled windows the other day on my V570. Everything is working great except the wireless drivers which i cannot install. In my device manager under other devices, i get an unknown network controller.
I have downloaded and tried installing all of the drivers from the lenovo site as well as tried scanning on the Intel site. i will get the dreaded "no matched wireless" pop up.
I am using Windows 7 home premium which is what came on the machine.
