HP G72 Networking :: Broadcom Wireless Disconnection Hourly
Aug 17, 2014
I have 2 computers in my room. An HP pavilion all-in-one W7 (works great), and an HP G72 laptop W7. My problem is this: every hour my wireless resets on my laptop but never does on my all-in-one thus telling me it is not my modem in the other room. It uses Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n driver ver. 5.60.350.23
I have a HP dv6-1133ea (in my sig). It has the broadcom wireless card. It is running windows 7 64 bit.
Just recently the wireless has started acting up. It can see my home network fine but just won't connect properly saying "no network connectivity" etc. I know that the network is fine as my partner's vaio (and incidentally my old Toshiba A30 that I am using to write this post) can connect fine.
I have tried re-installing the vista 64 driver from HP's website but that makes no difference. Turning the wireless on and off or restarting also doesn't change things. I have also tried re-adding the network key but that did nothing too.
Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas what to do?
I am using HP Pavilion g6 2005ax laptop and I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit OS. I am unable to detect any bluetooth device in my laptop and my laptop's bluetooth also is not detecting in any other device (Say in my cell). When I tried install Broadcom bluetooth 4.0 driver software it showing error "No bluetooth device was detected. Please make sure that your bluetooth device is plugged in properly in order to continue installation". In device manager everything is perfect, i mean no undetected hardware.
I recently installed windows 7 64 bit on my new HP pavilion p045tx notebook but there are no drivers for the inbuilt broadcom wifi adapter which was working fine in windows 8.1 , so there is any way to get the drivers as it is not available on the product support page.
the wlan adapter is BCM43142 802.11 b/g/n.(according to windows 8.1 driver details)
broadcom 802.11g network adapter is not working on extensa 4620z.
i just installed win xp pro on acer extensa 4620z which came pre-installed with linpus linux.
all is well except that the broadcom wireless g adapter is not working. in device manager, it says "Windows cannot load drivers for this hardware. the driver may be corrupted or missing.(code 39).
i tried downloading the driver from acer europe site and installed again but it still has the same problem. the driver on the cd which came with the laptop and the one which i downloaded from acer site is the same.
are there any other drivers or any other program which needs to be installed for this?
I have got my hard drive replaced under warranty. Now i have installed a fresh copy of windows 8.1. The drivers of wireless have been installed by windows. Its Broadcom 802.11ac version 6.30.223.102.
i have a hp 15-q000sq laptop and i can't find my wireless. i have dawnloaded all the drivers from the hp site for win 7 but win can not find the wireless adapter.
I have a new HP 255 G2 laptop. I instaled Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit operating system and downloaded the drivers from HP Support Center. None of the Wireless LAN drivers work. In Device Manager, the Network Controller's Hardware ID is PCIVEN_168C&DEV_0036&SUBSYS_217F103C&REV_01
My wireless button will not light up blue. Pressing it only switches airplane mode on and off. I tried a hard reset and it didn't work. I have a HP Envy TS 17 Notebook. Product number is E8A11UA#ABA. How to solve this?
I am considering buying the HP Envy 17-j130us 17.3-Inch Touchsmart Laptop with Beats Audio - model E8A04UA#ABA. The wireless spec says 802.11 A/C. Does it also work in the most common wireless 802.11 B/G/N?
I know the access points in the building are not A/C yet.
I just got my Dell Outlet Latitude E6500, and I can't seem to get the wireless network running sometimes.
When I had the computer on battery, it somehow connected to my router, but when I later plugged it in, it wouldn't connect. No idea what's going on, but I did get a message that said the Dell Wireless card was not connected ("hardware disconnected")
Is this an issue b/c I bought it refurbished, or would I have faced this with a brand new computer too?
Separately, I didn't realize how large this computer is. Makes me think that perhaps I should return it and get a 14". Not sure yet what to do.
I bought a new HP 15-p036tx and installed a windows 8. The wireless adapter was not visible in network adapters. I tried installing all network drivers, but the Broadcom drivers are giving and error and exiting.
It says to turn on the wireless capability, but i don't know how to. I tried press Fn + F2 but it doesnt work. The only way i can use internet it by connecting my iPhone internet to the the laptop.
I have had this problem a couple times, and each time I had to restart my entire computer and reinstall everything before I could connect again. The computer has no problem connecting with a cable, but it says it can't find Wi-Fi. I would really love to avoid restarting and restoring the computer for a fifth time if I could. I don't know the specifics of the computer, I think it might be a 14z Touch...
I have a HP G60-519WM laptop. The wireless connection is off. It tells me to "Use the switch on the front side of the computer, or function keys if available to enable wireless capability on this computer. I cannot find that switch or button anywhere. I'm not sure how it was turned off as it is not my laptop. One day it worked the next day it didn't.
I recently bought a new HP Pavilion 15 PC , and the first weeks the wireless connection was working until a couple of days ago when it just shows an X on the wireless connection show that I'm not connected . I checked the University wifi which was working well for everyone else .
today I bought Hp14-d106tx and I install Windows 8.There was no driver DVD in the package, so I downloaded from URL...Everything goes well, except the wireless driver,There are 2 drivers for wireless, and they I installed them and, show below,
sp65029 - shows "sp65029.exe has stopped working" sp65428 - shows "This app can't run on your PC"
These are official driver downloaded from HP website itself doesn't work, where else should I find it?I installed touchpad driver already, but can't find the way to automatically disable it when usb mouse is connected.
I have an HP Envy 15t (model k000) that I recently did a clean install of Windows 7 64bit onto when I put an SSD in it. I have been able to get all of the drivers for it except the wireless controller from the HP website. Is the wireless driver available somewhere?
Recently i bought HP-D107TX notebook and i tried to install the WLAN driver form your site. But it is not installing. When i click on the setup.exe it unpacks the drivers and a message is showing "This program is installed correctly" and "Reinstall using recommended setting". Till now wireless is not working in my lap.
I will start out with my laptop's system information (and I am typing this on a cell phone)It is an HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC with product number - B3K21PA#ABG. Serial number is 2CE2201C96. I have a Broadcom 4313GN 802.11b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi Adapter according to my device manager. I have recently changed my ISP and the wireless router they have provided is the Linksys E1200 model. Now, on to the problem - after a prolonged internet use (skype call or playing internet games) my laptop just stops giving me access to the internet.
And I say it like that because the internet connection icon shows that I have network access and internet connection but none of my software or browsers are able to connect to the internet. I have tried updating the driver (both by checking driver updates and by downloading the drivers manually). I have also tried system restores and everything else I could think of, short of actually doing a factory reset on the entire thing. And I should also mention - although this issue has occurred several times now since I changed ISP (and yes, I called them about it too), this current time seems to be permanent since it has been hours and it is still not working.
last week i turned of my wireless internet for three days (i was out of town and didn't need it) but today when i went to turn it back on it couln't detect my wireless internet. it's an hp enve dv7 7250 running windows 8 64 bit
i've had the computer for two years.
about a months ago i had to reset the computer due to software problems.
my wireless router was just replaced two weeks ago and all other devices are working fine.
i have attempted to reinstall the drivers. no changes
i have had issues with the wireless on the computer for the passed year (limited access) usualy fixed its self
when pluged directly into the internet, internet works fine.
I've seem to lost all ability to connect to or even find a wireless signal.
Normally after I log on the wireless indicator light on the F12 key goes from orange (off) to white (on) but for some reason its staying orange. At this time I get a message saying “wireless hardware cannot be detected”.
If I hit the F12 button to turn on the wireless signal I get a HP box that says – wireless is turned off “The wireless devices on your computer are turned off. To turn on the wireless devices, press the wireless button”. I do this and the message goes away but the wireless indicator light is still orange and I’m getting no signal.
It doesn’t appear that my wireless router is the problem as I can’t detect any signal from my neighbors or when I take my laptop to work, as I did before this issue popped up. I’ve ran my HP Support Assistant and Troubleshoot – Network and Internet Connectivity – HP network Check, but it doesn’t find any type of wireless device. The wired connection still works.
