HP Envy 15t K000 Networking :: Bluetooth Option Is Not Displayed

I am not able too bluetooth option turn on or off. Do i need to install any drivers? if so what respective driver i need to install.
OS - Win 8.1
Note: WiFi is working fine.
HP Envy 17 OS/Software :: Touchpad Won't Scroll And Not Allow To Resize Browser Window Text
Dec 6, 2014I have an HP Envy 17.3 laptop with a touchpad that doesn't allow me to scroll nor to use with the control key to change the zoon factor inside of windows (such as a browser window).
I've gone to the touchpad settings and there really isn't much there. Surely HP included some of the advanced features like Synaptics does and is used on less expensive laptops???
Am I failing to look in the right place? I went to the touchpad settings. Is thewre another place to make changes to the settings?

Oct 21, 2009I have a Z11WN, bought it in Italy and is running currently Vista Business. I ordered few weeks ago, Windows 7 Home Premium from Amazon.co.uk. Do you guys know if I will be able to upgrade without loosing my files? Or I will have to do a clean install, because the language of the actual OS is italian and the upcoming W7 is in english?

When i will find a way to order a swiss-german language keyboard (not same than the german keyboard), then i could order my Notebook from anywhere, and do the work by myself, but have to fight with warranty trouble.
I can live with warranty trouble

May 5, 2010I work with Japanese language and need to use the East Asian language support that Windows provides. Is there anything similar in OS X? This is a really important think to me. by support, I don't just mean the fonts, but the whole keyboard + IME - writing characters and their recognition. All this is part of Windows East Asian support and works great for me.

Apple :: Windows OS Beating OS X - Japanese Language Support
May 6, 2010I bought a new Mac just yesterday (my first time to switch from PC) believing that the East Asian Support in Macs will be equally if not better in OS X than Windows (given that Japan is a huge market for Macs and also that you can even order a Japanese keyboard when purchasing your computer). To my horror, however, I am now realizing that there's a feature where Windows outpeforms OS X, or what OS Xi is totally lacking;
IME Pad - i.e. in Windows when you switch to Japanese language keyboard you have an option to use your mouse to draw a kanji you are not familiar with (don't know its reading). You'll get a lit of options and can find thus a kanji extremely fast - no need for radical or stoke look-up. I've heard that OS X doesn't have this function - at least not 10.5. If that's true this would be a major drawback!
the only solution to this would be to use an internet interface such as this:

But this is way too cumbersome and requires internet access.

Dell :: LCD Backlight Is On, But Nothing Is Displayed
Nov 6, 2009Windows device manager recognizes the graphics card. latest drivers are installed. running Windows 7.
LCD backlight turns on, however, the screen constantly stays an offwhite colour.
when i connect the laptop to a VGA monitor or to a TV through S-video, it connects and everything is displayed perfectly on the external screen. the laptop LCD is still lit up a offwhite colour.

Feb 22, 2009I'm in a bit of a jiffie, my 1330 had some problems with overheating so I formatted but it turned out it was a piece of dirt stuck in the fan, anyways problem solved.
I thought.
Now, I get the slowdowns again, albeit not that severe. Now, when I open hwmonitor it only shows my CPU, HDD and ACHP. The GPUs temp won't show up.
I installed ntune, nada, same thing. What could be the problem, is the temperature measuring thingy broken I'm kind of worried that my 8400m gs is dying on me since it was a pos to begin with but I really dont feel like sending in my laptop.

Acer :: Recovery Disk Difference In Programs In French And English Language
Dec 24, 2008I got myself a new laptop but it became french not english(didn't get to decide, wasn't there then), but I got the store i bought it from to put it into english. The problem is that when it was french there were more programs like gridvista, eye webcam etc. Now that it's english there none of those programs. So i'm wondering if I should do the eRecovery management thing, will it stay in english with the programs like the french one? or should i ask for recovery disks from acer and tell them my problem?... it's a acer 5920g/5920-6642 laptop...says both on my laptop.

Feb 5, 2013When i bought N7110 when i pressed the fn + sound up/down button(f11/f12) a little box would come up showing me what my current sound level is and dissapear after 3 secs or so. But doesn't happen anymore. The buttons still change the sound but the box doesn't show up. This happens with all of the fn functions like f2(wireless settings), mute button, f4 f5 (brightness), f3(touchpad on off). They all work but they dont show up. So if i want to close bluetooth i need to do it blindly by pressing f2 + fn a few times to finally get it.

Nov 28, 2013I had a quick look at Disk Management on my new Vostro 5470, and there are not less than 7 partitions displayed over there.
The laptop has a SSD of 128GB installed. I know that GPT hard drives require several partitions (to be specific, I know only about ESP, MSR and data partitions only) - but 7? My data partition has only 99GB available. That surely isn't a lot.
I know that some sort of Intel recovery is installed, and I know that the Dell diagnostics is installed somewhere too.

Apr 1, 2013I have a Dell Vostro 3550 that I booted up this morning and received 8 beeps on startup with no video being displayed. After reading the forums here is what I have done and the reults:
Boot up with External Monitor
Can log in and run computer, laptop still beeps 8 times for several times then stops beeping
Drain residual power from the laptop
Restart computer and still beeps 8 times without vidoe
Run LCD BIST
Nothing displayed.
Run F12 Diagnostics
Error Code: 2000-0415
Validation: 58622
I am assuming I have a faulty LCD Screen and/or cable but want to be sure of this before spending the money as this laptop is no longer under warranty.
Dell Inspiron 1521 :: When Turn On Power Nothing Is Displayed On Screen
Feb 14, 2013I have a inspiron 1521 that i have been having problems with. It's an older laptop.
When i turn on the power, nothing is displayed on the screen. When i hold fn+power I get 2 flashing lights and one solid. The num lock and cap lock flash. I don't really know what this means. I have also done a BIST and the laptop seems to pass this just fine. (Different colors flash on the screen). I have tried removing ram 1 at a time but it always blinks the same lights. Could this be a problem with the motherboard?
