I keep getting an error message telling me that my hardware doesn't meet the minimum system requirements to install the software...which makes no sense! I've already installed the Intel chipset driver and the intel rapid storage driver AKA matrix storage driver. These two must be installed before installing the ones that are refusing to install.
I called HP, got India and the guy insists just because the driver is listed for my product doesn't mean it needs to be installed. I just kinda laughed it off, he was useless.
So I did a google search on the problem and it seems a lot of people are having the same problem getting these two drives to install-same error message and everything.
any info on IF they really need to be installed and if so, how the heck do you get them to install already?
2.) Intel management engine driver (listed on HP's website for my product but not on this site for the thread devoted to my system and driver installations ([Drivers] HP dv6 Gen 2 / dv7 Gen 3 / dv8 / HDX16 / HDX18 (INTEL))

I installed Windows 8.1 Update 1 x64 to my HP Pavilion G6 2240SH laptop. I started install the drivers and I got an error message in the Intel High-Definition setup: "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."
I own a Dell 7520 and it has four 3.0 usb ports. However, I have discovered that one program I use does not support Intel 3.0 USB ports only USB 2.0 ports. So the only port that program will use is the Realtek USB card reader on the 7520 because that is a native 2.0 port.
According to a poster Innogen on the Intel support forum "The BIOS in my Dell Inspiron 7520 allows me to disable it so that the USB 3.0 ports revert to USB 2.0 functionality." but I can't find any such functionality in my BIOS (using version A06).

I tried uninstalling the Intel USB 3.0 drivers in WIn 7 Ultimate hoping that when I rebooted it would install USB 2.0 drivers but it simply reinstalled the USB 3.0 drivers.
I would really like to get this program working on my computer and while I am not happy about losing USB 3.0 functionality I can live with it until the vendor gets its act together and starts to support Intel USB 3.0.
i installed windows 7 ultimate 64-bit on my HP Pavilion G6-2005ax after formatting. I downloaded and installed all of my drivers from here . But 'Ralink 2011 802.11 b/g/n WiFi Adapter ' and 'Ralink 802.11 b/g/n Wireless LAN Adapter Driver ' fails to install. There is yellow symbol on 'Network controllers' in Device manager. I could successfully install the Bluetooth driver but i cant search any device, neither it gets discovered.
I have had an aspire 5920g for about 18 months now and it was all working fine until I updated the graphic drivers, but the drivers stopped installing halfway through and now I can't install any graphic drivers.
I tried to install my original drivers and they won't install. The system keeps freezing and I think thats the problem.
I've tried making a recovery disc but erecovery won't recognize blank DVD's and acer 'support' are only too happy to grab you by your feet, turn you upside down and let all your money fall out so they can charge you for a reovery disc - absolutely ridiculous - instead of actually trying to help me.
And also for some reason a yellow triangle appeared next to the ACEYTS4Y IDE controller a week after I got it but up until now didn't seem to cause any problems.
Based on dannyres's thread and my other driver threads, I've decided to post the latest drivers that are compatible with the HP ENVY 15 premium series notebooks. It is part of my ongoing, informal commitment to help assist those who had performed clean installs on their HP notebooks. Please let me know if you find newer drivers or other devices so I can update this post!
NOTE: All of these drivers come from HP's website, Microsoft Update, and from other reputable websites (including other manufacturers). All of the drivers here are WHQL Certified or digitally signed drivers, available as of the date when this post was updated. These drivers should be compatible with the notebook series stated above, but I am not responsible for technical difficulties that can occur as a result of improper driver installation!
Following along the same lines as the other driver threads, the process of installing and updating drivers is for ADVANCED/EXPERIENCED users only. Average users can use the drivers located at the HP support portals -- they're the safest and simplest way to go in terms of drivers for your specific model. Some of these drivers may work with notebooks other than the stated brand and models, but this is NOT guaranteed. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK -- only install these drivers if you know how to revert the changes that you have made should any problems be encountered............
I replaced hard drive with SSD and installed windows 7 ultimate (X64) on my HP Pavilion G4 notebook. However, I am not able to install switchable graphics on my laptop now.
I have tried this 1. Installed HPSA and ran update and tuneup. It asked me to update "AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver" but it failed with multiple retries and after some time now it doesnt ask to do this update at all. Now everything is green in HPSA but I am still not able to switch the graphics 2. Tried to download from HP drivers page but it says "AMD Catalyst Mobility cannot be downloaded due to incompatible harware/software on your computer" 3. Tried uninstalling the driver but windows updates the drivers automatically. 4. I also updated BIOS as suggested at [URL] ..... but still no luck......

I bought a second hand M1330 on ebay with the intel graphics. I can't seem to get a driver installed no matter which one I use. I've tried both Vista and Windows 7 but in both cases when I'm trying to install the drivers, I get an error message saying
The computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software.
Setup with exit.
I've tried both drivers from the intel site as well as the dell site but no luck. Any ideas?
Note that this driver thread is currently being populated and developed. I am trying to make sure everything is correct and accurate, and will update as time permits.

If there a way to install official Intel video drivers on an HP DV5-1000us? A friends friend has one and I tried extracting the files from the .exe then updating the drivers thru the device manager but it won't take the drivers prob due to a hardware id # hp had changed to prevent people from installing all but thier own "optimized" ( my ) drivers.
And this DV5 is the one with the GMA X4500 video adapter in case anyones wondering.
I bought this 15z 5523 in 2012 with i3 and Windows 8 mainly because of WiDi but since then haven't been able to install it. Not sure what am I supposed to do as each time I get a message stating my wireless adapter is not supported.
When I did a check, learnt I have Dell wireless 1703 802.11 network adapter is not supported for Intel WiDi. I am not sure how can I enable my laptop for WiDi. .
I periodically check Dell's site for updated video drivers but they are always sooo old. (Dell's driver-Version 7. something, Intel's-Version 11.something) Intel's site is much more up to date. Anyway, I'll download the Intel drivers and attempt to run the installer. It'll extract all the files but then close and show a message stating that the driver isn't "validated" to run on this computer and that I must get driver updates from my pc maker.
Why are others able to install the drivers, even on other Dell systems? Is it a business notebook thing due to the need for stable system images?
I'm in the process of creating an XP Pro operating system install for my new Inspiron 1545, on a new SATA hard drive (taking out the original SATA hard drive from Dell with Vista preinstalled to use as separate bootup opsys which I have to reinstall to zap all the bloatware later).
Things were going really really well (I thought) with setting up my new drive with XP and I got past the problem that bites most folks (SATA hard drive not being recognized by XP install), by switching the drive in BIOS to ATA mode b4 doing the install.
I got XP completely installed & activated AOK, with only a few minor wrinkles which I was able to figure out. Applied a few simple quick tweaks to XP to make it easier for me to use (disabling autoplay, killing the search dog, setting folder views, removing stuff I don't use like Windows messenger, MSN, etc).
Then I went to install all of the necessary Dell drivers from the website for the 1545 for (in order) Intel GM45 Chipset, Video, Ethernet, Dell Quickset, Wireless, Sound, Card reader, and Alps touchpad.
I had figured that stuff out already and had all the drivers copied over to the new PC ready to go .....
i have the acer aspire 6930G core 2 duo T5800 - Nvidia 9600M GT 512Mb GDDR 3 - 4Go 667mhz - 500Go 7200RPM - bios 3238... it's possible to install a intel quad core mobile Q9000 in this laptop?
I can't install driver for "Intel WiUSB". " USB-IF xHCI USB Host Controller" in the Device Manager mark with yellow hazard.I search with Intel Driver Update Utility and found an update for Intel Wireless Display Software and download it.I tried to install the intel driver but after I run the installation it give an error massage.
Was having an issue on bios A12 (I think it was) with the brightness (function keys were not adjusting it properly), so updated the bios to A15 and the latest intel drivers as advised. (have intel, not nvidia).
Now the screen on boot is either blank or with only blue lines.
Can hear it booting into windows so the system on the whole seems fine.
Have got it working successfully on an external monitor via the vga port. I have tried to reapply the A15 bios and reinstall the intel drivers but not changed anything. The display properties in windows shows the laptop monitor as stuck on 640x480 and low colours. screen is off on 640x480 and if upped to the only other option 800x600 gives blue lines.
I have windows 7 Inspiron 1545 that keeps going to a black screen, recovering, and then saying "Intel Graphics Accelerator Drivers for Windows Vista(R) stopped responding and has fully recovered." But I do not have vista. Do I need to update?
Using windows 8.1 i've uptaded my intel hd 4000 drivers, restarted and lauched a 3d game. After few seconds I tried alt+tab and then everything got stalled and eventually with lots of artifacts on screen I've got a message about a system crash and that system now is dumpin information to a file and next it will restart. In that moment I've panicked and hard reseted (so memory dump hadn't finished).
So now when I try to boot - for a quite some time there is a black screen and then a list of boot options pops up:
Normal Startup , bios setup , boot menu .... but the keyboard is not working at all.
So after connecting a usb keyboard I entered boot options and there iv noticed something strange:
Link to image
EC version is messed up.
Keyboard is not working at all and some other things.
On top of that when I'm choosing normal startup the windows "wheel" is turning but its newer getting to boot.
I got a T430s with the nvidia nvs 5400m and when i try to update drivers etc via the lenovo system update I got a message that I should update the Intel rapid storage driver to 11.2.0.1006, and that isn't even the latest version, but anyway I mark the update and let it install and then reboot. But when I search for updates I have to update the same driver to the same version I just installed. I have tried to remove the driver via device manager, but without results.
Thanks to a post by PDSway, I got the Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 Advanced Wireless Card working fine with the Windows 7 64-bit 13.0 drivers on my XPS 1340.
Has anyone been able to successfully install the Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 Advanced Wireless Card 13.1.1.1 drivers for Windows 7 64-bit?
I get an error code saying it couldn't find the digital signature for the driver
