I have recently bought FW 590FEB, after using it for 5 days, I got three times blue screen problem like this:
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent the damage.
[url]
1st blue screen, windows 7 shut down unexpectedly
2nd blue screen, windows 7, don't really know since I went to out and find out when I start the pc, it said shut down unexpectedly,
3rd blue screen, windows 7 close/shut down by itself while i was running VLC and utorrent, and it when to the screen where we can choose start windows with safe mode or normal...
I don't know what is happening with this blue screen problem, since this is my first experience with this trouble,
Is it software/drive issue or hardware?
Should I restore it to factory setting?
I think it it shutdown by itself, every time i use Google Chrome and utorrent.....
Bought the white Sony CPCCW17FX from Best Buy for my wife. She's been really happy with the laptop. Only problem is she's has had occasional blue screens. It's being caused by some conflict with the display driver.
We're running the 186.47's that are provided on the Sony site. Laptop doesn't want to accept the mobile drivers off the Nvidia site. This is obviously the 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium.
I got a FW590GJB. it was originally win 7 64bit installed. after a week i saw that wile i am in windows, the screen turns to black and comes to normal again with balloon error: "The ATI drives was stopped responding and successfully recovered". I didn't care. but after a month, i saw "blue screens" while using windows, and recently it happens on start up. before each blue screen there are noisy lines on screen. the colors mix and system hangs. and eventually "blue screen" comes and restarts the system. I downloaded several versions of my ATI 4650 Driver (8.36 - 8.56 - 8.65), no changes...
I used recovery dvds. it even doesn't let me finish the recovery process and crash lines happen and restarts the system... I tried win 7 32bit. same thing happened. This time I could install the windows but when desktop comes, it last for only about 2 minutes, and then the screen mixes the colors and blue screen again...
I installed Vista 32 bit. it works with no problems. I also installed XP 32bit, it worked with no problems. but i want to have win 7 64 bit on my system... what is the problem with win 7 and my system?
I have wiped my hard drive and want to install windows xp sp3. I burned this dvd from an image and I'm getting some type of stop error with a blue screen of death. This happens on the Sony Z and also on other laptops that I have tried
I own a Sony Vaio VGN NS190D and recently I've been receiving a "dumping physical memory error". Since I've always been able to restart and start working again, I've never paid it any mind. Just today though, I had a BSOD and no matter how many times I try, it wont go past that. I've tried the start-up repair and starting in safe mode but it still blue screens.
I have a Vaio FW series laptop and whenever i unplug the power cord from the laptop when it is running a blue screen appears. It says a bunch of stuff but i cant really make out what it says since its really quick and then the laptop restarts. This is getting very annoying. It even happen a few times when i unplugged a USB drive from the laptop. It just recently started a few days ago, before that it was perfectly fine. I have no clue what could be causing this.
I have T140p with bluescreens, I've replaced the harddrive, the voltage regulator and disconnected almost every peripheral. but still - have bluescreens. Is it possible that the Cmos battery is responsible for it
my new studio 1737 got the blue screen any help? the laptop is a week old and just been sitting on a desk power is plugged in and only using it for basic use
I'm running a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS in my E1705 and I've been having some problems with the nasty BSOD.
This is the error message I get:
*** Hardware Malfunction Call your hardware vendor for support NMI: Parity Check / Memory Parity Error *** The system has halted
It only seems to happen when I'm playing WoW... and its getting really annoying. I had thought it was an overheating problem before, but I've been able to keep my GPU temp under control pretty well lately.
My wife picked up a Dell 1537 and has been experiencing blue screen issues. It only happens when the computer is turned on or restarted.
I have checked the event viewer and there is nothing that looks suspicious or outside the norm. I made sure that drivers were updated. I tried running Memtest86 but it closes and starts to load Windows after running for 10 seconds
I was wondering if anybody could help me. I have a m1530 and my LCD has this blue lines going down the screen majority of the time. However if I angle the LCD just right it goes back to normal.
It appears to be some kind of connection problem because (again) it does go back to normal after moving around the screen to that exact angle. Anybody have any suggestions? I have added comparison pics to this thread.
Please excuse the poor quality pics...i dunno why my camera did that. I just wanted to ask here first to see if I can open up the laptop and fix it bc I'd have to downgrade back to Vista before sending the laptop to Dell.
I was doing some 3d work when all the sudden everything went crazy(graphic error crazy) then everytime i start my computer i get vertical blue dots and i get a blue
screen crash bc code:116 bcp1:80d6c008 bcp2:8e809f30
bought a 2nd user aspire 5100. Installed xp , acer drivers etc and all ok till a few weeks later didn't recognise h/d at times ! this got worse ..even not recognised in bios (my bios is version 1.4,)! this got to a stage where wouldn't boot so bought a new h/d and installed xp/drivers again etc etc
2 days later, started getting 'blue screen of death ' and 0x000000f4 ( 0x00000003, 0x8473ADAO,etc )
Switched of and rebooted , ok for a few hrs then same again ...today wouldn't stay on for more than 15mins before blue screening!
It runs fine when plugged in, encoding video etc.... The issue is when the laptop is running from the battery, it'll just bluescreen within about 5 mins of unplugging it... every time without fail. I have the latest BIOS 1.13 installed.
I'm guessing it's because it's an engineering sample? Would formatting the PC be worth a shot? I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate at the moment.
I have an Acer Aspire 3690 running Vista, which I bought a year ago. It came with one 512mb stick of RAM, which I coped with but was really pretty slow. Obviously. Anyway, I took it to a shop to get some more fitted about three weeks ago, they put in two 1gb sticks.
Ever since then I've been getting sporadic blue screen, when I never had a single one in the year I've had it.
Sometimes certain pieces of software seem to set it off (Deluge, and either Total Recorder or Skype, I haven't figured out which or if it's a combination yet) which I've been using the entire year with no problems. Sometimes it just seems to happen for no real reason.
And most annoyingly of all, it often happens on start up, it'll bluescreen and restart and eventually I'll get it to let me into Safe Mode, and from there I can restart properly and it'll let me into Vista proper.
I have bought a new laptop, Dell XPS 14Z, 14 inch, with Windows 7 Premeium installed on it. However, I have a couple of problems from the very start which makes me regret buying it. The laptop works great, but sometimes when I try to shut it down, it doesn't. Just a blue window with shutting down sign but it never turns off perfectly.
The second problem is even deadlier. A blue screen, once a day or two days once appears and I never know why. This death screen comes from nowhere without any reason, I scanned my computer and there's no trace of virus. The only think recognizeable from the screen is this file 'tixhci.sys" file.
The laptop is very good in terms of hardware, 2.5 CPU i5, RAM 4GB, 500GB of hard drive and 1GB of display card.
First of all id like to say "hello" to everyone, as ive just registered with this forum.
My Studio17 turned up last week and basically ive just been getting used to my new toy, trying out wireless etc. Anyways in the last two days I decided to see what games the machine, and Vista, would run .....
I've been getting the occasional BSOD on my 1705 with the 7900 GS. Is there any fix for this? I saw the one for the 7950 GTX but I don't know if that works the same as the 7900 GS.
I have an old aspire 5100 which has been playing up for a long time, everytime it comes out of standby I get a blue screen and than it reboots and does a scan disc any one has this happen to them.
This is the message I get when I've been starting up lately. This will happen and I will wipe my hardrive the computer will work fine for 5-6 weeks and then same thing. When this happens it does not boot all the way too windows. I get to the windows screen and then it goes to the blue screen.
Something similiar happened about 2 years ago(blue screen I don't remember what the message was) but I had the motherboard, hardrive and ram replaced.
About 3 or 4 months ago I dropped the computer. I replaced the hardrive and everything seemed fine for a few months and then this started happening. I've also replaced the hard drive twice.
The exact message is below.
IRQL is not less than or equal too (0x00000004,0x00000004,0x00000002,0x00000000, 0x8083E33)
my computer is showing me the blue screen of death, and it just happen now, so I took note of what it said. This time it said DRIVER IRQL EQUAL OR NOT LESS THAN or something, and at the bottom said something about NId.sys or something. One of the errors also said "BUGCODE USB ERROR" or something like that.....
I have a brand new Dell XPS with Model : L501X purchased in Malaysia hand carried to Philippines about 2 weeks ago.
Upon receiving I have noticed that a Blue Screen appears with nvlddmkm.sys error every time I play a video initially stored in the laptop hard drive or via youtube.
I have also noticed there were two video drivers installed which where Intel HD graphics and Geforce GT 420M drivers. I installed an updated GT 420M driver through driver downloads in dell support. Unfortunately it did not resolve the issue.
To relieve my doubts of driver conflicts, I have freshly installed a Windows 7 home premium but BSOD still keeps on occurring.
I am currently running this computer using only one video driver (Intel HD Graphics), I want to run this computer using Nvidia Geforce GT 420M.
How am I gonna do that without having BSOD recurring?
Is it also normal to hear some frequently very mild ticking sound coming from the right side of the keyboard and mildly grounding sting on the plastic aluminum colored frame around the keyboard?
I have an HP dv7-6c95dx laptop and the display is out of whack. Black is shown as blue and there are even red dots where some other color should be. LCD screen is a replacement screen and I have already switched out the lcd cable that connects to the lcd screen. When picture is displayed on an alternate screen, the picture is 100% fine. I was thinking the lcd inverter may be busted but I couldn't find a replacement inverter anywhere online for this model.
I bought a Acer Aspire E1 531 4836 and the screen went blue so He charge me 198.00 to re-install Windows 8 and 2 weeks later It happen again . This time He told me its my Hard Drive .
I have a blue screen Stop 0 x 0000007B etc at start up. I have tried pressing F12 when I see the Dell logo and run all the checks available but still get blue screen.
I have taken to my local computer shop and they are unable to fix. said it has a RAID ARY 2 hard drive set up and they do not have the equipment to fix it!
I've got a problem. I downloaded and installed the new demo for Time Shift. After it was complete it said it detected I did not have the latest drivers for my video card and I needed to download the latest ones for stable running of the game. So I clicked ok and it took me to a download of a Forceware driver (I've forgotten the numbers and have deleted it). After downloading it and running it, a box popped up and said I don't have the the compatible hardware/software to install those drivers (not exact words). So I thought ok, it will just exit and keep what I've got (dells stock 7900GTX driver). but after exiting the setup about 5 seconds later I got a blue screen stating a hardware error. So I restarted my M1710 to notice blue dashed vertical lines on my screen and after the Windows XP loading page it would blue screen again so fast I cant read any of it. Now I can run in safe mode without the graphical screw ups on my screen. But the boot diagnostic detected no error. It displayed all those colored bars but there were weird glitches in them. I downloaded and re-installed Dells stock drivers to no avail. I searched my hardrive and registry for anything that said Forceware or the driver number and deleted all results. I system restored to no avail. So now I can only run in safe mode on a really ugly resolution.
What can I do before I resort to the 5+ day pain of return to depot service?....
Device manager shows no problems but says it can state the status of the card in safe mode. And I'm not technical enough to know how to use the event viewer to work out what went wrong.
