My Dell Inspiron 1764 laptop will not boot up after using windows 7 installation disc in repair mode, as it has to restart several times during set up, it would not restart after first phase of operation. It never got to finish operation. Now it is just coming up with a black screen saying, Windows boot manager
Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change it might be the cause. To fix the problem:
1. insert windows installation disc and restart computer (which it will not let me do)2. choose your language settings  and then click next 3. click repair your computer
if you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance

info: an error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data
After start up even pressing F8 before logo disappears numerous times it will not let me into that menu, so I cant access start up in safe mode or last known good configuration. No matter what I do it will not go past the above message on screen.

My Inspiron 1764 won't boot. It worked fine up until this morning. This morning it stopped booting. I removed and reinstalled the battery and reseated the RAM and hard drive. Then it would boot but would constantly go into sleep mode. Now it will no longer boot at all. When plugged in the battery light stays illuminated and will stay on even after the cord is unplugged. When I press the power button the power button may light for a few seconds and then go out.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1764 about a month ago it started having internet problems. I have ruled out the problems being related to the actual internet service. I have excellent wifi signal and yet my laptop constantly connects and disconnects. The length of time varies. Some days I get to be on the net while others I dont at all. I have run diagnostics, downloaded darn near every update imaginable.
I did some searches and found very old posts pertaining to bluetooth issues...
Whenever I start Windows from Stand By or Sleep the bluetooth connection is hit or miss...If my bluetooth mouse does not work I go to device manager where my Dell Truemobile 355 + EDR has issues and if I shut it down/start it up it works fine.
How can I fix this, its frustrating going into device manager every other time I start up my laptop!
I've been trying to connect a Moto G phone to use as a GPS in a Dell Insipron 5421 with windows 7 pro 64 bits, and although the phone is recongnized, it gives an error when configuring the services, so no service is available. I've found a diversion to solve the file transfer issue but still cannot find a SPP outgoing port for connecting the GPS service to the laptop, and still have to services that fail to load a driver. I've tried every version of the driver and the Pro/Set wireless solution inlcuding de 17.1 version (12/29/2014) but still doesn't work.
i already use a wireless tether to my cell phone as a modem. works great, but when i try to sync btooth i get "not supported by windows" I checked windows support .it says that btooth is in the sware
I own a Inspiron 3521, and about 6 months after I bought the system my Bluetooth stopped working, I search for devices, and the only device that shows up is my LGP-769 cell phone, and none of my Bluetooth headsets or other audio devices. However after pairing I cannot establish any kind of connection with the device. My Bluetooth icon still appears in the system tray but the settings will not open, even in the Device Manager the phone reads as a normal Bluetooth device. I've tried updating the drivers, but whenever I try to install a new driver it says that the OS is not compatible, even though it is for Windows 8 64-bit, and from the Dell website. I have searched every form and looked into every possible system setting, and no one seems to be having luck finding a solution to the issue, none of my previous Dell systems have done this.
Tried to put together a laptop Inspirion 15 for my daughter today on the Dell website. Each and ever time there was no option for bluetooth. Spoke to a Dell rep on instant chat and he said windows7was not compatable
Dell XPS M1530 is running Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit. The only thing that I can't get to work is the Bluetooth.
Before (with Windows Vista), I was able to connect my Dell 968w printer and Blackberry Tour to my laptop via Bluetooth with no problem.
Now when I try to print with my printer or send files to my Blackberry via Bluetooth,
it doesn't work. I've looked everywhere but I can't find the right fix. I'm guessing that maybe I need to update my Bluetooth driver, but I can't seem to find the right driver for Windows 7 32-bit
I've just installed Windows 7, 64 bit on my studio 1555. Most everything is fine, except my bluetooth doesn't work. I initially installed the Vista 64 bit drivers, as there are no Windows 7 drivers on the dell website. They worked O...K, they found my mouse, however i could not get them to pair. Decided to uninstall the driver/widcomm software and try again, however now i can't even install the driver.
Every time i run the installer it tells me to enable the bluetooth by pressing Fn+F2. This doesn't help as it never recognises the bluetooth as being switched on. Trying to install the driver through windows brings up "unknown device". Updating the driver in device manager by pointing directly to the bluetooth 370 driver doesn't really help, as it installs but it doesn't work. Gives the error "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"
Has anyone out there successfully updated to Win 7 with a studio 1555 and bluetooth 370? Anyone got any ideas on what i can do to fix this? Bluetooth in BIOS is enabled too.
Dell said that i'll have to wait for official Windows 7 drivers for my bluetooth, but having run Win 7 RC for the past 6 months with the vista drivers, it doesn't really make sense that they shouldn't work now.
I have a Inspiron 1440 and I am thinking of adding bluetooth to it,do I need a harness or does it plug in and witch module does it call for, install pictures.
I have bought a new inspiron 15 3521 & after going through the community i think i have made a mistake of buying this particular model. Still trying to resolve my Bluetooth problem. I have installed dual booting Windows 7 & 8 also
I purchased a laptop (Dell inspiron 15R N5110) with Windows 7 Home Basic edition, but when i installed Windows 8 i had to download many drivers, but i still can't detect the bluetooth.
when i try to download any driver related to the bluetooth or when i try to connect any device to my laptop, the bluetooth is not detected.
I recently purchased a N7110 and very nice it is other than the power cord being too short. However all was well and good when i got the machine, updated Win 7 from Microsift website and then noticed that the Bluetooth drivers where causing problems in device manager? have had no problems with connections but am being reminded that i need to reload the drivers. Nothing seems to be load when I try to download via the net.
So, almost 3 months ago I purchased a Dell Bluetooth 370 card from Dell as well as a Dell Bluetooth travel mouse. At the time I was running Windows 7 RC, and all was fine.
Then, I found via Craigslist a Dell bluetooth keyboard for CHEAP locally and purchased it. About the same time, I installed Windows 7 RTM. That's about when the annoyances started to happen.
I have loaded Windows 7 RC on an XPS M1530 and everything seems to be loaded fine. It has the internal Bluetooth. But when I try to connect my Dinovo Edge Keyboard via Bluetoot
