Serious problem with my laptop (dell N5110)
I set up an password on bios system and I forget it, I tried many times to unlock it but I couldn't,,, I could start the laptop normally and log in to my window but when I hit F2 a window appear and ask me for system password or administrator to log to bois
Is there a master code to unlock it …
My laptop model is: Dell Inspiron N5110
Where can I find 24co2 chip on system board of the dell inspiron 700m? Somehow the BIOS has been blocekd . When I run the laptop I can see a white inscription "Enter Password" on the blue background. After typing wrong passwords three times I can see an inscription "Please enter master password". I've tried to generate a master password but without success.
Generated password was: hw4lha04
What are the benefits of unlocking the xps 16 bios? Will you be able to overclock the processor and graphics card? Can that even be achieved even if you do unlock the bios?

I am locked out of my BIOS but manage to use the laptop using finger print. I forgot my password and with that problem I am not able to modify anything inside the BIOS. I am afraid to do a reset because I might lose the A08 upgrade.

I used Nlite to mod the disk and add the drivers, I also tried loading the drivers via floppy drive and still no luck I keep getting the blue screen of death any ideas? Also I need to know how to fix the settings so I can install MAC OS Snow Leopard on it! I am currently running Bios That was just updated on April 19, 2010 !

I recently wiped my computer using a DoD wipe program. My computer way really cluttered and it was just easier to wipe and start all over. I also wanted to install a new OS (windows 8). Upon turning it on after the wipe it requests a HDD Password. To my knowledge I never set one. Is there a way around this, specifically, not having to pay for one?
