How can I find the location that they have been transferred to?

Aug 27, 2010Not sure how to check / fault find the built-in Bluetooth on my Studio 1558. I installed a Logitech Bluetooth mouse on it about two months ago, and mostly it works well. But this afternoon there is suddenly no response to the mouse. (It worked this morning.) It seems that the laptop's Bluetooth has disconnected for some reason - doing a Bluetooth search with my cellphone picks up the mouse but not the laptop. I've put new batteries in the mouse, made sure it's switched on, clicked it's Connect switch. I also rebooted the computer. I've tried the F2 comms on/off function key. None of this worked. The built-in broadband comms is working fine.

May 20, 2013I have Envy dv6t-7200 Quad Edition notebook and I recently installed Windows 8.1.
I can't seem to find how to enable bluetooth. Some things I can narrow it down to:
1) I am pretty sure that model DOES come with bluetooth (I think I remember using it before, but not 100% sure).
I can't seem to get the specs page of this product, but I bought it directly from HP site ...
2) I downloaded and installed the Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth driver and Ralink Bluetooth Software driver that I found on the HP Support & Downloads site.
3) I don't have any mention of bluetooth in my Device Manager (generic or otherwise). From first appearance it would seem I don't have bluetooth on my notebook but again, I'm pretty sure I do have.

Apr 6, 2014My W530 suddenly stopped communicating with my MS Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000, and nothing I try will bring it back. It does not show under Bluetooth devices, and it will not find anything when I search for devices. I know the mouse is not at issue, as it will readily pair with an Android device. Yes, the manual wireless switch is turned on. Yes, it is turned on in the Fn+F5 OSD. I've done a BIOS update. I've updated my system using Lenovo System Update. I've checked power settings both under driver properties, and in my power plans. Everything seems to be in place, it's just like the Bluetooth has vanished, but the system doesn't know it. Yes, I'm POSITIVE my system has Bluetooth... I've been using it for the past 6 months or more.
Recently, I've experienced issues with the mouse losing connection for a few moments at a time, but nothing beyond that. Then yesterday, It's completely gone, and I can't get it back.

Jun 27, 2009I bought an Acer notebook (aspire 4730z) from New york about six months ago. The notebook powers on but nothing comes on the screen. I contacted acer and they confirmed that the notebook is still under ITW warranty.
The problem is that I am in Oman right now and I don't have the ITW booklet which specified various Acer ITW locations. Acer doesn't have a PDF format of the document too (I asked the Customer Support). So, if anyone have the ITW booklet, please post the ITW service locations in Oman and U.A.E.
