View 7 RepliesMy W530 suddenly stopped communicating with my MS Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000, and nothing I try will bring it back. It does not show under Bluetooth devices, and it will not find anything when I search for devices. I know the mouse is not at issue, as it will readily pair with an Android device. Yes, the manual wireless switch is turned on. Yes, it is turned on in the Fn+F5 OSD. I've done a BIOS update. I've updated my system using Lenovo System Update. I've checked power settings both under driver properties, and in my power plans. Everything seems to be in place, it's just like the Bluetooth has vanished, but the system doesn't know it. Yes, I'm POSITIVE my system has Bluetooth... I've been using it for the past 6 months or more.Â

Recently, I've experienced issues with the mouse losing connection for a few moments at a time, but nothing beyond that. Then yesterday, It's completely gone, and I can't get it back.

i got my lenovo ideapad y510 p from 2 days i tried bluetooth once it was working but afther upgrade to win 8.1 i dont have the send or recieve option in the menu of the bluetooth icon i reinstalled the driver of the bluetooth i cannot send or recieve anything by bluetooth

After upgrading to Windows 8.1 x64 bit, my bluetooth is not detecting and cannot be detected by other devices (my mobile phone). In device manager, I have NO yellow triangles with exclamation marks, when I search automatically for updates, windows says everything is up to date (see picture below) so everything seems fine and running. Bluetooth is on but after searching does not find devices (even if the phone is also on bluetooth).

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy Ideapad S510p has accrued over 10 BSODs over the past 2 weeks. It is totally random, not due to putting it in sleep mode, and apparently is caused by a failure in the ntoskrnl.exe and usbehci.sys.

I have tried looking for malfunctioning devices, and disabled bluetooth as it was apparently not working.

I also installed several new drivers. This solved nothing, and I am at a loss of what to do entirely.
I can't get my Yoga to recognise any BT devices. I have driver version 1.3.639.3 dated 1/9/2012. I downloaded an update otwb33ww.exe version 3.757.754.082313 but when I install it, I get eventually get a dialog saying "Confirm that  Bluetooth is enabled on your system. Plug in your device and click 'OK'. I switch on my BT headphones, click OK and get a message saying "Reeltek Bluetooth is not installed on your system". Then have to restart and end up back with the old drivers.
Just noticed I can connect to my iPhone but still not my Plantronics headphones...
my laptop model is pavilion g6 2320 tx.The factory installed OS was windows 8 64 bit version.later i updated my os to windows 8.1 64 bit version from windows store.After the updation i cant send any files over the blue tooth to any devices ,but i can receive files from other devices.

I am getting Sending Failed error in mobile every time I try to send something to my Studio 15 from my Nokia N70.
On the other hand, when I try to send a picture from the laptop to mobile, I get Bluetooth device not found error.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo i have the g505s a10.... A few weeks ago the unit would not boot after running awesome for several months. I have upgraded to Win8.1.
My problem is that with this newer uefi bios i am not able to view any of the files on the 505s hd with any of my other computers. I desperately need to resurect the 505 but do not want to run the one key recovery untill i can get some extremly important files first.
I have been a computer professional for quite awhile but have not worked extensively with uefi yet, Best i can tell, the only way to achieve what i am after is using another pc with uefi capabilities to access the drive.
What are my options to access the data from a 3rd party pc.
I'm currently having problems with my Y510p's webcam. It stopped functioning recently.... But I've already performed a OneKey Recovery and it is still disabled. When I start the YouCam software they said that there was no webcam detected and if there was I have to turn on the integrated webcam. I have also checked in Device Manager and still.... No result. The webcam isn't appearing in my Imaging Devices option.

And when I restarted my conputer i got the bod. I made a full backup but it says it requires a disk, I don't have one. The pdf file for rapid drive doesn't work, is their a new one?

I just got my Windows Vista Home Premium OEM disc from Newegg today, I left my original dell one in storage back in NY. It can boot from the disc, but it can’t repair my laptop. So is the HDD dead or what? =/
My laptop suddenly hanged. When I pressed Ctrl + Alt + Del, the menu did not come on. When I repeated, it did not shut down. I manually shut down the laptop. When I restarted, it said cannot find hard disk drive and no bootable devices.
Someone checked it out and they say the drive has crashed. Is it possible the links are loose? Is it possible to recover data from drive?
I have always been able to view large icons in my folders in windows file explorer. Then one day I couldnt. I have to right click and choose 'preview' to see the image. How do I fix that ?

Even when i use the troubleshooter it only sees the cable problem. But there is no sign of my wireless or the bluetooth they are just gone. And here is some picture for my problem ..

I recently installed Windows 7, and I re-downloaded the Acer Empowering Technology off the Acer website.
I can access all the features, but the Empowering Button doesnt function anymore.

I purchased dell Inspiron 3520 with Linix OS. i formatted and installed Windows 7 home premium. downloaded and installed all driver files from dell website. no device is unidentified in the device manager. everything is fine except the blue tooth. Device manager shows bluetooth as working and i can click the bluetooth icon in system tray. but strange thing is it wont detect any Bluetooth devices. another issue i observed is that when i try to install a Dell device driver for blue tooth it will generate an error message "Activate Bluetooth Using Wireless Switch". i tried FN +F2 key but it works with wireless only. i tried PC health checkup utility . and all kind of checking. checked bios whether Bluetooth is disabled. i could not find option to enable bluetooth. tried windows update.

I have been trying to solve this issue for the last few hours. I recently bought a Lenovo Ideapad y510p (Windows 8.1). Normally Dragon Assistant comes preinstalled on this laptop. It is even advertised by several retailers such as Best Buy, Amazon, and Costco (same sku). However, I can not find this software anywhere on my laptop.

After talking to three different Lenovo support technicians, we came to the conclusion that the software was lost with the windows 8.1 update. They still did not know of any way to obtain Dragon Assist, as it is not sold by Nuance and is only a preinstalled software.
I am having a bit of trouble with this G580 lenovo laptop, which can't boot.
Problem: HDD and CD/DVD is visible in info tap in bios, however they are not visible in the boot tap, only EFI network IP4 and IP6 are visible.
