View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a HP ENVY TouchSmart 15-j009wm which initially had windows 8, I installed a new O. S. Windows 8.1 64 bit and lost the driver pack for beats audio, I have been searching online for a download but cant seem to get a link to download.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I recently purchased this powerhouse of a machine and absolutely love it. I have one problem though and it is a really bothersome one to me because i really enjoy listening to m music and use my laptop as an audio source for my higher end audio components.
I have an envy 15t-j000 touchsmart that i purchased in late july and received in mid august with the beats audio option.
Ever since I first powered on the computer the audio would skip or fluctuate. I would notice the fluctuation when plugged into my stereo via the 3.5mm headphone jack. It would sound like the volume would lsightly fluctuate or maybe miss some of the lower end frequencies.
The more noticeable problem is the skipping. It will make a skipping noise that sounds as if the computer is bogged down with material, even when all that is being performed is playback. It sounds like frequency in the lines. This will occur at random times under various circumstances. It occurs when playing a music file as well as streaming music through spotify or pandora or playing a video on youtube. The skipping occurs in all those circumstances in both output to another source (headphones or speakers) as well as playing through the built in speakers.
Is it possible I am missing a driver? Is the sound card messed up? Is it just a problem with the computer? is there a fix that doesn't require me sending it back to hp?
I have an HP envy 6 1030-sq ultrabook, run windows 8.1 and my beats audio isn't working any more.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having some trouble with beats audio. My laptop is a ENVY m6-1232ea.
My problem is that when I listen to music or watch a movie, and I go to change the EQ/bass settings it is completely ineffective. It just sounds completely flat. I tried turning on/off beats audio but the sound is still the same.

Deleted my beats audio eq.
I've re-installed audio drivers multiple times. Beats Audio never turns off. I can uncheck the box, and while the sound is less full, adjusting the sliders on the equalizers within Beats Audio effects the sound. Also, the sound is very compressed no matter what. Listening to a FLAC song file with headphones on my phone without equalizers and listening to it on my laptop with headphones, the difference is obvious. Why this would happen or how to turn it off.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought a hp envy m6-1105dx (windows 8) yesterday and as i was setting it up, I realized that the music volume in winamp got loud all of the sudden and they it went down again. It happens with every song. I downloaded the new sound drivers but the problem is still there. I read about this problem in other types of envy laptops but I did not see anything regarding my particular laptop.

I recently did an upgrade to Windows 8.1/ 64 bit. The new ADT audio driver appears to have over ridden the Beats Audio equalizer and it has become inoperable. (the sound works but Beats not beating.)
Should I roll back the ADT driver?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have HP envy 15 j002er laptop. Originally I got it with Windows 8 but then I changed operation system to Windows 7 Pofessional (64-bit).I can`t install IDT high definition audio codec on it. I guess that is the reason why I don`t have and I can`t use Beats Audio interface on my laptop (only speakers are working). There are no audio drivers for Windows 7 available for download on HP website. When I`m cheking for driver updates via HP support, it proposes me only updates for Chipset, Graphics, Network, etc.And no Audio Driver..How can I solve it and install IDT high definition audio codec?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy computer won't play sounds at all (videos online, downloaded music, games on my computer, everything).
This doesn't happen all the time. I'm not sure but I think it usually happens when I use my computer for a long time (1-2 hours). It starts working again when I restart my computer but it stops working later and I have to restart my computer again.
Along with other people I have a constant hiss/noise whenever I plug in my headphones, even when not playing music or any audio. I'd like to know whether it is a specific problem of which only my Studio suffers or if this is a problem which occurs to every Studio.
To be clear: I'm not talking about the infamous crackling audio problem.
A few months ago my audio started crackling and stopping altogether for milliseconds at a time. I have installed XP home on this machine twice and the audio was never quite up to snuff (sounds underwater, but rebooting cures it) but I've never had this kind of problem before. Tried reinstalling the Conexant driver but i still have the problem.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have the system listed in my signature running Windows 7 Ultimate and I am having the worst time with pops and crackles sporadically throughout songs during playback. I originally thought it might have been iTunes so I have tried a few other programs with the same results. It almost seems as though it cracks every time my computer has to "think".
View 10 Replies View RelatedI am in desperation currently with this problem. Let me explain my setup first.
I have the Dell E1505, 2gb ram, ATI X1400 mobility, 1.66ghz duocore processor, about 2 years old.
I recently got fed up with the onboard sound as I have taken a hobby up in purchasing high fidelity headphones.
This led me to get a M-Audio Fast Track Pro which is an external sound card with a separate headphone amplifier.
I basically used this sound card as my sound card as opposed to the sigmatel audio that's in the computer.
Everything was great but i found out that everytime that I did anything graphics related on my computer (blow up an image, scroll down a webpage, minimize a window, etc) that there would be a crackle/static that comes from the sound.
It got reallllly annoying so I tried finding a solution but really could not.
