My Photosmart B109 n-z has lost wifi connectivity. I had a power loss after which my router wasn't working normally. The router's OK now but I can't see the printer either from my Windows 7 laptop or my smartphone HP app. All other devices are connected OK.
View 2 RepliesI have a Dell XPS M1530 laptop and suddenly it started showing a pecular behavior. Wifi works properly when the laptop runs on battery. The moment I connect the adapter and power the mains on, it looses the connectivity and it newer shows any wifi connections available. If I remove the power adapter from the laptop, wifi starts working again.
I verified by connecting another power adapter and saw the same problem. Condition is same with another wifi connection also.
I am having problems with my Wifi on my HP DV6 7011TX (Product Number: B0P39PA#ACJ)I updated from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 and started facing Wifi problems. Initially on starting laptop, Wifi get connected automatically.. But after 5-10 minutes it shows LIMITED Connectivity.When I turn ON Flight mode and then OFF it, it gets back to full connection.But, after sometime it goes back to LIMITED. This keeps on happening.I've tried installing various versions of Broadcom & Intel WLAN Adapter Drivers!. Still no success!I called HP Support but, they told me that they can't do anything as I'm on Windows 8.1. They said me to rollback to Windows 8 and I don't want to do so. "Download over metered connections" is also set ON... (While writing this post Wifi went into limited connectivity once!)

I'm unable to connect to wifi from sever 2008 r2 as there are no wifi drivers installed. Whether there are wifi drivers available for windows server 2008 r2 for this laptop. I have checked Power Settings to make sure wifi adapter remains enabled at all times. Have also gone to Control Panel --> network and sharing --> change adapter settings --> right click on connected wifi network ---> properties --> configure --> power management --> untick allow computer to turn off this device to save power.Would like to use the laptop with lid closed by pluggin it through my TV via HDMI cable, but can't because of the loss of wifi.

I have a HP 630 laptop with Windows 7 64 bit ultimate . After formatting the hard drive of the computer, I reinstalled Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate.
Now it can't connect to the internet through wireless. I've tried all the basics: pressing the WIFI enable/disable toggle key on my keyboard, restarting my computer, enabling disabling the internet connection in the network area, etc.
Under Device Manager I see 2 devices related to the wireless internet:
1. Other devices > Network Controller - it has a yellow warning sign next to it - the error is for having no drivers installed.
2. Network adapters > Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller - "This device is working properly."
Below are the hardware ID's for the network controller that is not working:

I upgraded my notebook from windows 8 to windows 8.1; after that, I lost my wifi connection. There is no problem with internet connection as I can use wifi in my ipad.

I have WiFi issues when i put the laptop on sandby and then start up.When the laptop starts after stand by it sometimes shows no networks available which usually gets solved after turning wifi on and off or turnig airplane mode on and off.
although sometimes it will show the wifi network but will be unable to connect and sometimes will connect and drop within a few mins after which it wont show any networks. these issues are more frequent when on battery than charging.
I have unticked the "turn off to save power" option in the network adapter setting.happens with Bluetooth turned off also drivers are updated to latest

Just bought an Acer Aspire E15 and have been setting it up today and managed to get connected to the internet through the wi-fi however I have noticed that the wifi keeps dropping and leaves me with nothing and then I have to manually go in and select the router again. This is happening all the time, I am on the internet for no longer than 2 mins before I get the unable to access the network. There is no problem with the network it just seems to be my new laptop. I looked this up and was told to change the power management settings and did so and am still have the same problem. I also updated the driver and again am still having the problem. Also tried ipconfig /flushdns and again the problem persists!

It will show as "limited" and when I click to reconnect it shows I have no internet available. I've run the diagnostics when that has happened and it tells me there is an issue with the wireless card. I can shut the computer down and restart then it's working fine. This has been happening about once a day.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am having an issue with this laptop (product number 15-n019wm) where frequently but intermittently network connectivity will cut off. I ran a Microsoft troubleshooter (results below) that said it fixed the problem, but the problem always . I tried a Ping in the command line when this was occurring for www.yahoo.com and it came back "ping: transmit failed. general failure." These issues happen when I am wired or wireless, and when I am having the network connectivity problem, all other devices on the network can access the internet just fine, so it is an issue with this device specifically.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have got a new Dell Inspiron 3521 i5 with 4GB RAM - 64 bit OS - Windows 7 - Service Pack 1 Laptop, everything works good except, the problem with my Wi-Fi Connectivity.
The issue I'm experiencing is with the Internet connectivity, my Wi-Fi connectivity loses frequently and I get message saying "Limited Access", and gives me an option to reconnect it manually which is a bit disappointing. .
Rest all works pretty fine, I'm satisfied about it. Just this error, disappoints me.
The troubleshooting I have tried so far is -
1) Resetting router for 30 seconds and restarting it - did not fix my problem.
2) Checking firewall settings - did not fix my problem either.
3) Tried virus check as well, but no fix so far.
I have an ideapad z500 which I'm happy for, but it annoys me that when 'm at my college I can't properly connect to the wi-fi the school has. When I connect, I'm on for usually about half an hour, but then I get the "limited connection" yellow triangle and I have to deactivate the networkcard before I can get a normal connection.
Other times I simply just can't connect, it tries but it fails. When it does, I have to reboot the computer before it succeeds, and that's no good when you are working on a project. At home i have no problems, it works nicely.
Also, how to enable the WiDi on the z500.
My PC is running Win 8 with the Intel Centrino n2230, Intel 3rd. gen i7 (3632qm)
I have been using internet from various sources, but now I want to share internet from my HP Envy M6 n012dx TouchSmart via Wifi Hotspot.. So How do I set up a Wifi Tethering Hotspot connection so that other devices can leech internet from me?
Also, I would like to set up Wifi Direct for file sharing with my Phone..I tired everything in my knowledge.. I even installed Intel PROSet/Wireless Tools Software too for Wifi HotSpot but it's not working either..
By the way, I'm using Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160..
I bought my HP 15 a few days ago and since yesterday (after I restarted it) it can't find my network. Also, sometimes it finds all the surrounding networks, sometimes one or two, sometimes none of them, but it never shows mine.
All my other devices connect to the network just fine and also when I connect the laptop via Ethernet cable internet works normally. I tried reinstalling the adapter and driver, but nothing happens, the problem is still here.
I just got my new VN7-591G which I enjoy a lot, but the Wireless connection gets lost, if I am not very close to my router. First Win tells me it's still connected but I cannot access any website and after a while it loses the AP. The notebook has a Atheros Qca61x4 Wireless adapter, I tried many different driver version, non of which worked.

When I tried installing drivers for this Atheros wifi card I get the message "the device may not be present or could be unplugged", I have fitted a replacement card but still the same. View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been using my netbook at my local library for 3 years. Acouple weeks ago, all of a sudden it lost contact with the library's wifi connection. The librarian tried everything he knew, no results. I later borrowed a laptop from the library, looked up fixes, tried them, but they didn't work.
Here's what happened: Got a padlock with a window saying failed to connect to a Windows service. The dependency service/group failed to start. A troubleshoot resulted in a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it, saying network proxy settings can't be detected, though it also says detected.
Trying the fix on Acer support--checking to see if TCP/IP is working right--resulted in an error message, TCP/IP improperly installed.
Trying rewriting the registry keys didn't work.
Ditto the remove/reinstall network driver adapter.
Finally it said if this doesn't work, there's likely a hardware problem.

Driver: RALINK microsoft driver 3.0.0.41 (up to date when i do a search)
When I remove the ac power external internet is lost. The wireless connection still appears to be up but there is no traffic. I cannot ping anything when this occurs.
The only way to get this up and running again is to
1. insert ac power
2. restart the dhcp client service (sometimes have to do this more than once). The service hasn't stopped, but for some reason this gets it up and running.
I have also tried disabling the "allow computer to turn off this device to save power". But this did not work....
Need my WiFi drivers for my Acer Aspire 5560. I no longer have the repair disc for the Aspire, but was reciveing a lot of errors and decided to use another disc to reinstall Windows 7. Once W7 was installed I was still missing my network drivers.

When i turn on WIFI button (f12) light the blue light and after around 10 sec turn of and light orange. In network connections pop up bluetooth network connection with red X and i cant do nothing.

I tried to install a wireless driver, REALTEK RTL8188EE 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN Driver. I downloaded it from HP website, but when I installed it, it couldn't be installed. I tried another programs (MediaTek (Ralink) 802.11 WLAN Adapter and MediaTek 802.11 WLAN Adapter Driver) but the same problem was still happening.
By the way, I've updated the BIOS and it didn't work. And I found out that my HP doesn't have Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adapter. Does Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adapter matter?
