I have a HP Pavilion 2000 with windows 8 with the problem "Enter administrator password or Power on Password" pop up After three wrong passwords I get system disable code 76216135
I've been given an HP Pavilion G6 laptop that belonged to someone who passed away. It asks for a power-on password, and after three tries I got a System Disabled code of 79308945. Is there a way to change the power-on password? I've read several threads in these forums asking this exact question, and people have been given an individual code to get into their machines.
I try to get on my laptop and a black screen pops up with a blue box asking for admin password or power on password. The passwords I entered will not work. Anyway to override it?

I have HP 2000-412NR and I removed my bios power on administrator password by typing my old password and in the new password field, I put empty (did not type anything), and saved it.
