Oct 17, 2013I purchased an HP g62 notebook 2/12yrs ago I have not used it for almost a year. Problem it is having at first it was not charging properly I would get a message about battery being low and may need to be replaced I continued using it like that for like a month then one day I went to start it up this is what I got' blank screen,caps lock bli king 6 times then blink another 3 times then 6 times then 3 times repeated while the internet button is orange. The fan runs the CD opens, I just replaced the battery and new charger.

Dec 28, 2009I'm having problems with my laptop (HP Pavilion dv4 1428dx) the last thing I did was put it to sleep, then cameback and tried to wake it up but it would not start up. All the lights are on, but the screen is black and the only thing I hear is the fan moving. The caps lock and num lock keys have a blinking light, not really sure what that means. The power LED is on, the battery LED is on, but the hard drive LED is not on.
