It recently got upgraded to windows 8.1 without even giving me an option to cancel the upgrade. After the update the system has become a piece of crap. It restarts the desktop screen again and again. When I right click on desktop I can't access the graphics property option or configure switchable property option...It give an error that 'cli' is not found. Even my games are not working properly(its getting Hanged)..

I prefer in UEFI installation, so create a OS installation USB in UEFI mode in GPT partition and enabled legacy in BIOS. Then the installer is booting from the USB device and everything is going well till it reaches to the HDD partition window. I can't see my HDD on the installer window. I already have a HDD with 4 visible partition, C (OS), D (Data), E (Recovery) and 100 MB system in FAT 32. i want to format only my C, because D contains all my data backup. I tried to browse intel Storage driver, still it is not detecting my HDD.
I really want to switch back to Windows 7 Pro.

Nov 27, 2014When I downgraded from win 8.1 to win 7 I noticed there were about 11 items with problems being displayed in Device Manager. These ranged form network and ethernet to PCI , USB and various others. NVIDIA indicated it could not load until the Intel stuff had loaded first. That wasn't in DM, it cropped up when I attempted to load some of the drivers manually.
I really don't want to guess at what's gone wrong here but could if have something to do with hardware set up for win 8 being used with win 7 drivers etc?

I am having trouble with USB 2.0 devices not being recognized by the hardware. I have all the devices installed in device manager, but the computer will not detect USB 2.0 devices.
It will recognize USB 3.0 devices just fine when they are plugged into the USB 3.0 port, but neither of the USB 2.0 ports. USB 2.0 devices won't work in any port. I can't confirm USB 1.1 devices at this time.
CMOS setup is set to Legacy mode: Disable.
Is there an additional driver or configuration that I am missing, or is there another issue going on?
