HP Pavilion G7 2210ed Networking :: Connected And Have Good Signals But No Internet Access
Aug 11, 2014
I have a HP Pavilion g7 2210ed and until a few days ago my internet was working fine. Suddenly my internet stopped working. The laptop says i have a good signal, but i have no internet acces. I thougt it was the router, but i reset it and it didnt work. On other devices the internet does work, its only my laptop.
I have an Hp Pavilion 15 notebook pc. The problem Im having is that I will be connected to the internet browser and it will work for about 5 minutes and then I wont connect after that. I know its not the connection because everything else on this network works and even the email button on my laptop will still sync all my emails. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the browser. (using firefox) and also tried using internet explorer. What are some other steps that I can go through.
I'm having major problems with my laptop. Will try and tell you as much as possible.
I have an HP Pavilion DV2700 (DV2799ea) that is about a year old. It has built-in bluetooth which can be quite tempremental. A week ago I searched the net for a way to get my bluetooth working properly and decided to download the latest version of bluetooth for my laptop from the HP website. I then restarted my laptop, like it said. The bluetooth worked perfectly. My internet connection, however, wouldn't work.
I tried going into the very beginning of the laptop and rolling the computer back to a few hours before I installed the new bluetooth in the hope that the bluetooth would be gone but my internet would be back (as I would rather obviously have internet than bluetooth). This did not work.
I also started the laptop in safe mode, but this made no difference.
I also tried diagnosing the problem, finding a new IP address, restarting the laptop again, changing router numbers etc.
I also tried disconnecting the bluetooth, but this didn't make any difference.
I also tried completely removing the wireless connection and then reconnecting it all, this also did not work...................
I have an HP G60 Notebook PC with Windows Vista Home Premium, it's about 4 years old. I recently got a new Cisco Linksys E1500 wireless router, which is connected to my home computer. My laptop shows that it is connected to the home network, but it will not connect to the internet. Other laptops in the house are able to connect to the network and the internet. Mine seems to be the only one not working. Why isn't it working? What do I need to do to fix it?
I've run network diagnostics. It says "A problem with you network router or broadband modem might be preventing an internet connection." I've unplugged both of these and tried again. It didn't work! I've also connected my laptop straight to the modem and it still didn't connect to the internet. I've tried resetting the network adapter. My IP settings are set to automatic.
My internet connection wasn't a problem before last week (when I got a new router).
I have been having an issue with my laptops internet for the past few days . It would work for an hour and then all of a sudden stop . I would get a notification saying no network access . The internet on every other device in my house is working fine . So far I have unplugged and rep lugged the modem . I have searched everywhere online and I found no solutions . I have a HP G 42 notebook PC.
I contacted HP support yesterday because my HP Spectre 13 Pro notebook has a lot of difficulty getting wireless internet access. Sometimes it works well, sometimes it works then drops out; and it is never able to connect using my iPhone as a hotspot for more than 10 seconds.
HP support person instructed me to install 2 updates. Now my laptop is completely not working!! It says "Boot Device Not Found". I have to wait for a technician to completely replace the hard drive, then wait a week for a USB plugin to load up a new system.
I recently reinstalled Windows 7 32 bit on my PC,a HP 2000 2DO5SE, and since I am not able to access wireless internet.I have tried to intall Realtek and Atheros Wireless LAN drivers to no avail. The hardware IDs are:
I bought a new laptop HP Pavilion g7.I got Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter but my problem is that I can only connect to 802.11 n network and I can not use 802.11 g wifi. When I trying to connect 802.11 g wifi it says limited can not download any webpage but I should use it with this Ralink 802.11 bgn adapter yes? I have already updated the Wifi adapter but didn't work I turned off every firewall and antivirus software and I have already writing by manually IP address ,subnet mask etc...I got window 8 software. what has windows 7 I can connect without any trouble to 802.11 g wifi! I'd like to use 802.11 g because the signal strength is stronger than 802.11 n .I can receive the signal from 802.11 g wifi network somehow.
Product Name: HP Pavilion g4-2002tx Notebook PC Operating System : Microsoft Windows 7 ( 64-bit)
My wireless internet connection has been working fine until recently when the connection with my home's internet modem became intermittent . There will either be a computer icon with a red cross icon shown which states " Not connected. No connections are available" or the fully filled white bars with a yellow warning sign icon which indicates "Limited Internet Access", thus I could not connect to the Internet anymore.
I believe that the fault does not lie in the modem because the other devices in my home such as smartphones or other laptops were able to connect well with the modem when the problem which the laptop encounters has occured.
I have tried restarting the laptop repeatedly or even perform a System Restore until there is Internet Access ,however I can only have access to the internet for a short while (not more than an hour) before the above mentioned problem occurs again and the whole vicious cycle continues.
For now, the internet connection seems to be working fine again , however I do not know when the wireless connection will go haywire again.
Purchased HP Pavilion x360. Everytime I go to use my laptop I have to reconnect the WIFI through network diagnostics. How can I keep my WIFI connected?
Following are the laptop configuration: Quick link:
Intel Core i7-4510U 2GHz Processor1TB Hybrid HDD8GB DDR3L 1600 Memory15.6" 1920x1080 LED Glossy WedgeIntel HD Graphics 5000Bluetooth 4.0Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160DVD Recordable (Dual Layer)4-Cell Lithium-Ion BatteryWindows 8.1 (64-Bit)Initial setup went well. After 4 hours or so while surfing webpages, suddenly it started showing no internet connection and asked to reload webpages. So I looked at the wireless network icon on the bottom right corner which showed full bars. A few seconds later a yellow colored triangle with exclamation mark appeared on the network icon showing no internet and limited internet.
After turning the wifi off and back on the internet connects and works for few hours. After few hours, it lost internet connectivity again with the same above symptoms. I have this laptop now for 3 days and in past 3 days I had this problem at least 25 times.
The laptop is a Pavilion G7 with Windows 7 64-bit. The machine was given to me under the premise of "Internet does not work". The wireless properties and LAN settings say that the laptop is connected and has Internet access. I can ping outside addresses from the machine, and can ping the machine from other devices. It also pulls a valid ip address according to an ipconfig. However, when you try to pull up a website, it gives a "website cannot be found" page. This happens on IE, Firefox, and Chrome. All chipset drivers, ethernet drivers, and wireless drivers have been uninstalled and reinstalled. They are the newest drivers available from HP's website. I have even replaced the wireless NIC thinking it may just be a bad card. I've checked the IPv4 settings and all is set right. Thinking of possible DNS issues I tried using straight IP addresses to connect to webpages but all to no avail. Are there BIOS issues that would affect this?
I am having a hp pavilion dv6 from recently I cant connect to the internet and it is very annoying I tried to do everything but still its not working ....
Taskbar icon for Gigabit Network Connection shows "No Internet Access". But Internet access works fine. But, since the driver thinks there is no access, I have to disable WiFi to force the laptop to use the wired LAN. Device Manager says everyhting works fine. Driver update says I have the latest driver (12.10.29.0 dated 2014-05-02). My T430 with the same adapter works fine. What do I do? Only difference between T530 and T430 is the T530 is in a dock.
I have an HP Pavilion 17 e049wm Notebook PC, model: E0J75UA.Long story short my laptop no longer gives me an option to connect to the internet through my wireless router. It only gives me the option to connect through an Ethernet cable. If I click on the networks icon it says No connections are available. If I go to the network and sharing center and try to set up a network, it will never detect my router. The wifi icon reminds orange, despite airplane mode being off. If I type wireless in the search bar in the start menu, one option is to change wifi settings. From there it only gives me the option to add VPN connection.(?)Another option is to change wireless device settings yet it doesn't detect any. I tried doing a system restore to a save point where the internet was working,'didn't work. I know it's not my router as all other devices, phones, tablets,ps3 and other computers are working just fine. I did try though resting the router.
My son's desktop (HP Pavilion 500-164) keeps disconnecting from our wireless interner (Netgear 03 router) when downloading. We have reset the modem, changed the channel, installed the network driver from HP website, and went through all the troubleshooting tips. He is receiving an error message when booting up (there was a problem starting C:WindowsSystems32LogiLDA.dll the specified module could not be found). Could this be related to the problem we are having with his internet connection?
I have been dealing with this for a while now, and it just happened out of no where. I turned on my computer one morning and it wouldnt allow me to connect to my wifi. I have tried EVERYTHING. My computer does allow me to connect an ethernet cord to it and the router and use the internet that way. I know it's not the router because I use the internet on my iPhone and tablet. When I attempt to connect to internet it has a red X where the wireless icon used to be, now the icon looks like a computer screen instead the the little bars. When I tap my wireless button on my key pad a message comes up and notifies me that i just turned my wireless connection off, but no matter if it's off or on that little button always has the orange light on. I can't figure out whats going on
i bought yesterday hp pavilion 15 p012st laptop then load windows7 but i cant scan wireless internet i can only connect to internet by line. i instilled this drivers : [URL]
I have a new HP Pavilion 23 Desktop, running windows 8.1. I want to make a recovery set of DVD's, and the instructions tell me to "TURN OFF THE WIRELESS CONNECTION TO THE INTERNET". How do I do this without turning off the wireless router used by other PC's in my house ?
About a week ago my web browsers stopped working. I'm running Vista and I use FireFox. I also have Internet Explorer but neither of them will load any web page when i go to them. I know my connection is working because I can use any other program that requires internet. I've been told that I have a virus. I've ran Malwarebytes, RKill, Avast!, CCleaner, Advanced System Care, and I've tried a system restore but nothing has worked.
As above I keep losing internet connection on HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC and often have to turn off to get it back. I have had the laptop for over a year now and have had this problem from day one. Often there are no connections to be seen at all. I can be on a site fine one minuete then the next it just freezes. Sometimes clicking dissconnect then reconnect will resolve the issue. But most of the time I have to switch off, leave it off for a few mins then reboot. This does not always work so I have to do it again.
As above, I have had this issue from day one. When I got it home there were no connections to be seen. I took it streight back to PC World they switched it on and connections were there. When I got home, switched on others were there but not my own. After switching off and on again mine was there. After that it was okay for a week or so then I started getting the problems I have now. My son sitting about three feet away from me on his lap top has no problems at all so I know it is the laptop and not my router. Also my wifes, my son's and my phone are on the internet through the router when this goes off. Now and then it will be okay for a couple of days but most of the time it goes off several times a day.
I have a Windows 7 HP Pavilion dv7. I can use the internet 2 different ways - through AOL or through Internet Explorer. It works fine going through AOL. But when I go directly thru Internet Explorer, I get the dreaded Blue Screen. I have gotten a messsage to upgrade to Internet Explorer 11, but when I try to do that, I get the Blue Screen.
I have the HP Pavilion dv6 originally was with Windows7 recently I have installed the windows 8 64bit. everything was working well now I have a problem with the internet adapter. the system cannot find it and the troubleshoot screen couldn't sole the problem. tried to uninstall the drivers also did not work. and your website couldn't find my laptop model don't know why!
Internet adapter: Realtek PCle GBE Familly Controller.
Also one device in my device manager marked as an unkown.
I purchased a HP Pavilion g6-2288ca notebook, product number C2N59UAR, running Windows 8. Recently I've been having issues where the wireless internet will drop without warning. I've already established that the problem is not with my router or ISP, so I can only assume that there is an issue with my wireless adapter, either hardware- or software-related. I can usually connect to my home internet with no problems. However, as I've stated, the internet has been dropping unexpectedly on my computer when it can be demonstrated to be working fine on other computers and internet-connected devices in my home. Now, the thing is, running the troubleshooter and having it reset my wireless adapter usually does the trick. Unfortunately, it's often a temporary solution, as the connection will usually drop right back out after a few minutes. I've attempted to manually update my drivers, but that seems to have been fruitless. Also, the rate at which it drops seems completely random. Sometimes I'll reset my adapter and it'll work for the next six hours, and sometimes I'll reset it and it'll drop within thirty seconds.
I've installed Windows 8.1 on my laptop HP Pavilion G6 2241sa. Everything is perfect, I downloaded all drivers, internet works fine BUT I've noticed that the speed of my broadband after few minutes goes down by 80%. My broadband speed is 30meg down/30 megs up. Download speed reduces to 2-3megs but upload speed remains the same...
My network card (shown in device manager) is Qualcom Atheros AR9485 802.11b/g/n wifi adapter. When I uninstall it, Windows automatically detects it and installs it back. Internet speed returns to normal but after few minutes or maybe 10-12 minutes speed again goes down, up speed is unchanged... I deleted it 10 times, all the same, tried to reinstall all ralink drivers found for Win 8 or Win8.1, but Windows says that I have the perfect driver and doesn't install anything else. I removed antivirus just in case, doesn't work. I checked the speed on other computer - no issues there, but on my laptop it persists. On Windows 7 i didn't have this problem, it started after putting Win 8.1.
My son has a HP Pavilion g6 laptop which operates Windows 8.1 All been working fine until yesterday when the orange light on the f12 button came on and laptop won't connect to the internet. we can't turn this light off.
so basically I reinstalled windows 7 Home Premium x64 Operating System and it seems that some drivers are missing. I bought a new hard disk and 4 G of ram..I installed them and the laptop is HP Pavilion dv6-2137sl , Intel Core i5 CPU m430 , 2.27 GHz with 6 G of ram now. When I looked at the Device Manager. I saw at Other devices : Base System Device Base System Device Base System Device Network Controller Unknown device Unknown device. All have yellow triangle. I tried to install a driver, the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller Driver but after the installation it gives me the next message : The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable.
