I recently reinstalled Windows 7 32 bit on my PC,a HP 2000 2DO5SE, and since I am not able to access wireless internet.I have tried to intall Realtek and Atheros Wireless LAN drivers to no avail.The hardware IDs are:

I downgraded from windows 8.1 to 7 Ultimate.
Although, I just can't find a internet driver for my laptop model. I know there is one. I've seen HP experts provide drivers to other people on the forum while they downgraded as well just like me.

I contacted HP support yesterday because my HP Spectre 13 Pro notebook has a lot of difficulty getting wireless internet access. Sometimes it works well, sometimes it works then drops out; and it is never able to connect using my iPhone as a hotspot for more than 10 seconds.
HP support person instructed me to install 2 updates. Now my laptop is completely not working!! It says "Boot Device Not Found". I have to wait for a technician to completely replace the hard drive, then wait a week for a USB plugin to load up a new system.

I would get a notification saying no network access . The internet on every other device in my house is working fine . So far I have unplugged and rep lugged the modem . I have an HP Pavilion DV2700 (DV2799ea) that is about a year old. It has built-in bluetooth which can be quite tempremental. A week ago I searched the net for a way to get my bluetooth working properly and decided to download the latest version of bluetooth for my laptop from the HP website. I then restarted my laptop, like it said. The bluetooth worked perfectly. My internet connection, however, wouldn't work.
I tried going into the very beginning of the laptop and rolling the computer back to a few hours before I installed the new bluetooth in the hope that the bluetooth would be gone but my internet would be back (as I would rather obviously have internet than bluetooth). This did not work.
I also started the laptop in safe mode, but this made no difference.
I also tried diagnosing the problem, finding a new IP address, restarting the laptop again, changing router numbers etc.
I also tried disconnecting the bluetooth, but this didn't make any difference.
I also tried completely removing the wireless connection and then reconnecting it all, this also did not work...................
I have a HP Pavilion g7 2210ed and until a few days ago my internet was working fine. Suddenly my internet stopped working. The laptop says i have a good signal, but i have no internet acces. I thougt it was the router, but i reset it and it didnt work. On other devices the internet does work, its only my laptop.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI own an HP Envy dv6 Notebook PC, MOdel No.2CE243OCYT. It has an Atheros AR9485 802.11 b:g:n WiFi adapter. There is an HP update for that adapter, but when I updated it, I was unable to connect to the internet. I realize that this WiFi adapter is only for 2.5G. I had to refresh my laptop, then I had internet access again. I have not tried that driver update again, but TWC just updated my Cable modem to dual band using the 2.5G and 5G bands.I am afraid to install the Atheros update in my lapotop again because I don't want to go though the hassle of re-installing all my software pd[rograms again.Is there a dual band WiFi adapter that HP recommends, and is it easy to install?
View 4 Replies View RelatedTill now, my G510 with Win7 64 bit worked perfectly but after going into flight mode and coming back, it no longer recognizes any internet sources, wired or wireless.
Windows troubleshooter says I need to 'turn on wireless capability'. I don't see a wireless hardware switch anywhere on the laptop, fn+f5 does nothing and in the panel for the flightmode, only bluetooth appears (which I can also activate). The device manger says all of the network devices are working normally. I tried reinstalling the latest drivers from Lenovo, but that didn't do anything either. The Windows Mobility Center says that the wireless is turned off, but the 'turn wireless on' button is greyed out and is not able to be clicked.
In an earlier post, it was suggested to check if in "services.msc" the "WLAN AutoConfig" function is activated which is in my case true. WIFI is also activated in the BIOS.
Last thing I tried, was to bring with windows recovery the system back into a state where everything worked fine but also that did not work.
I am using HP Compaq 15 a00t2u, windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. I'm not able to connect to the internet via WiFi. Everytime I connect, it says,"no network access." There's a yellow triangle over the WiFi icon. Windows diagonsed it but failed to correct it. A message appears " Wireless Network Connection doesn't have a valid IP address. At times, it fixes the issue but within seconds, the problem again hops up.I am able to connect my mobile and other devices via same router. Also, when I switch on my mobile's Wifi Tethering, laptop connects to the network easily without any issue.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have an HP 10 S Notebook and I will lose wireless internet connectivity after I've been online for a while. It will show as "limited" and when I click to reconnect it shows I have no internet available. I've run the diagnostics when that has happened and it tells me there is an issue with the wireless card. I can shut the computer down and restart then it's working fine. This has been happening about once a day.

I have tried EVERYTHING. My computer does allow me to connect an ethernet cord to it and the router and use the internet that way. I know it's not the router because I use the internet on my iPhone and tablet. When I attempt to connect to internet it has a red X where the wireless icon used to be, now the icon looks like a computer screen instead the the little bars. When I tap my wireless button on my key pad a message comes up and notifies me that i just turned my wireless connection off, but no matter if it's off or on that little button always has the orange light on. View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Notebook hp430 with Windows 7 64 bit ultimate. After having some sort of driver/virus that was freezing my computer, again i reinstalled my laptop with windows 7 64 bit ultimate .
Now it can't connect to the internet through wireless. I've tried all the basics: pressing the WIFI enable/disable toggle key on my keyboard, restarting my computer, enabling disabling the internet connection in the network area, etc.
Under Device Manager I see 4 devices related to the wireless internet:
1. Other devices >1> Network Controller
2>pci device
3> pci simple communications controller
4> Sm bus controller
- all the above devices have yellow warning sign next to it - the error is for having no drivers installed.
What should I do? How can I get my wireless internet to work again?

I purchased a HP Pavilion g6-2288ca notebook, product number C2N59UAR, running Windows 8. Recently I've been having issues where the wireless internet will drop without warning. I've already established that the problem is not with my router or ISP, so I can only assume that there is an issue with my wireless adapter, either hardware- or software-related. I can usually connect to my home internet with no problems. However, as I've stated, the internet has been dropping unexpectedly on my computer when it can be demonstrated to be working fine on other computers and internet-connected devices in my home. Now, the thing is, running the troubleshooter and having it reset my wireless adapter usually does the trick. Unfortunately, it's often a temporary solution, as the connection will usually drop right back out after a few minutes. I've attempted to manually update my drivers, but that seems to have been fruitless. Also, the rate at which it drops seems completely random. Sometimes I'll reset my adapter and it'll work for the next six hours, and sometimes I'll reset it and it'll drop within thirty seconds.

I just purchased a HP laptop 13-c004TU (I think -- too small to read). It is seeing my home wireless internet and listing on available networks. I have typed in my security key, yet it is still saying that it cannot connect to that network. I have been on the phone with my ISP and they cannot see why it does not connect. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a HP Pavilion g7-1205ev laptop with Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium. I bought a new hard drive so I had to install Windows again. After the installation the laptop can't connect to the internet either by wifi either by Ethernet. After trying troubleshooting it says that windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter.
At the device Manager I can see that there is an exclamation mark to these exact components:
Standard VGA Graphics Adapter
BCM20702AO
Ethernet Controller
Network Controller
PCI Device
PCI Simple Communications Controller
SM Bus Controller
Can I download all these from somewhere ? And of course I will download them to another PC as my laptop doesn't go online at all. I also tried to run Ubuntu from a flash drive on my laptop and the Ubuntu uses the Internet just fine.
I get a red X over the internet icon and my router will no longer recognize any networks. I called my ISP and the manufactuer of my Belkin router. So I went out and rought a brand new Net Gear router. Still not working. I called Net Gear and they think it's my wireless card?
Is there a way to determine for sure if its a hardware problem? Maybe I need to download a driver?
Is there a wireless switch on my laptop? Do I need to configure my new router? I'm hoping to use my Belkin router if it's just a driver problem so I can take back the new router and get my money back.

Taskbar icon for Gigabit Network Connection shows "No Internet Access". But Internet access works fine. But, since the driver thinks there is no access, I have to disable WiFi to force the laptop to use the wired LAN. Device Manager says everyhting works fine. Driver update says I have the latest driver (12.10.29.0 dated 2014-05-02). My T430 with the same adapter works fine. What do I do? Only difference between T530 and T430 is the T530 is in a dock.

I just purchased my first laptop and my first wireless router and have been setting them up.
Laptop: HP touchscreen Pavilion 15 notebook 15-n088ca with windows 8.1 (fully updated)
Router: D-Link Dual Band AC1000 2.5GHz & 5GHz bands DIR-810L
I set up the router and worked out the kinks and updated the software. My laptop finds and connects with the 2.5GHz Band anywhere in the house. My laptop does not even find or see the 5GHz Band. However my Galaxy Tablet finds both bands and can connect with both, thought the 5GHz seems weaker.
I noticed that my Galaxy Tablet finds a lot more wi fi networks than my laptop (that are in houses around the street). I believe my laptop should find the 5Ghz Band and be able to connect. So I'm hoping this is a software or driver issue, and just a setting that needs to be adjusted. I don't know much about Wi Fi drivers, but I"m a Vista survivor, so I should be able to solve this.
