I have a lenovo z570 laptop of the below specs

Is it possible to get a dedicated graphics card. I have seen similar z570 models with Nvidia GeForce GT 540M(2gb dedicated memory).
I’ve got a problem with my Lenovo W540 and performance when working with AutoCAD 2015. Despite the fact that hardware configuration is powerful and installed graphics card is recommended by Autodesk I get lower performance then on 5 years old notebook. I suspect the issue to be in graphics card used by AutoCAD. It seems that program works on internal graphics card instead of discrete one. I have checked this in AutoCAD in “Graphics performance” window which shows: “Hardware Setup: Video Card : Intel HD Graphics 4600”. I looked for solution and tried two different Nvidia drivers:
In both of them in NVIDIA control panel I've looked into settings and checked that for Autodesk AutoCAD, system will use NVIDIA high performance graphics. I have tried to turn this option as a global setting but I always get the same result - AutoCAD shows it uses integrated graphics. I have also looked into Intel HD Graphics menu and in BIOS setup but didn’t find any solution for my problem.
This is a fresh PC with following specification: Lenovo W540 Processor: Intel Core i7- 4700Q Graphics: Nvidia Quadro K1100M Memory: 32GB Disk: Samsung SSD 840 EVO 500GB System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit) Pro (version: 6.3.9600) BIOS: GNET61WW (2.09)
I bought this laptop recently. It comes with a single graphics card. I heard this model has ultrabay and you can add another graphics card. My question is is it true that you can add a second graphics card in this system with ultrabay? I am confused if SLI and ultrabay refers to the same thing. If that is the case then this system is non sli.
I updated my computer to windows 8.1, and now it doesnt recognize the Nvidia 755M graphics card. I even went to this URL... website and tried to run the .bat file, but it showed up with an error stating "Error: Invalid Display Adapter Index specified".
I have recently purchased a Lenovo V570 From Best Buy with an i5 2410m and Intel HD 3000. When browsing the web, I came across the option for the V570 to have a dedicated Nvidia 525m Graphics Card.
I re-installed my Z570 after Two years. I got "No supported Intel wireless network adaptor found" My Z570 is 1024AYU type, WiFi Link 1000 BGN, Win7 Ultimate 64bit.
All Lenovo drivers were loaded according Lenovo driver matrix (Including PM).
Radio switch is on. Bios wireless is enabled, service WLAN AutoConfig is running in Auto mode.
Fn+F5 shows only Bluetooth, WiFi line is missing.
Under Intel WiFi Link 1000 BGN driver (Device Manager) there is Yellow exclamation mark that stats "This device cannot be started"....
I bought an Ideapad Z570 a while ago and everything ran as it should. But the last couple of months (probably the last 5 months) my laptop has been running extremely hot. When I say hot, I mean it often reaches temperatures of 95 degrees, sometimes exceeding that to 98 degrees. What could possibly be the cause of this?
I've cleaned out the processor heatsink and applied brand new thermal paste to the processor and heatsink, yet it still runs extremely hot. I've also cleaned out the blower fan and ports to ensure no dust is stuck in there.
I am doing intensive work in Visual Studio, but the project I'm working on is not really that big. I've been working on another project (which is desktop and not web-based) and my computer *seems* to be ok, but still reaching 85 degrees easily on a build. It's frustrating as I don't know how long this system will run before crashing completely because its being pushed to the limits. Z570, Core i7 ...
i have a ideapad z570 running win 7. i want to use win 8 now, i want to erase the data from hidded partition, i want to edit the data in hidden partition such that, if One key is used later, it installs win 8. dont suggest visiting to lenovo service center.
My Lenovo z570 will not boot from CD. I have the system recovery CDs and another bootable CD that work in another Lenovo so I know the discs are fine. The boot order is set properly (CD first) and even hitting F12 on the boot up and selecting the CD drive again doesn't work. The drive does work - I can burn and play CDs. I uninstalled the drive and reinstalled and updated the BIOS to the latest. I see others with this problem have been advised to change UEFI or Secure Boot setting but these options are not available in my BIOS.
I recently bought an IdeaPad Z570 and re-installed Windows 7 completely. I installed all the necessary drivers and software available on the Z570 drivers download page, including the Lenovo Energy Management Software.
The following software were not installed as I do not have any use for them:
Everything is working fine except the One Key Theatre button. When I press it, nothing happens. I did some research and found out that the key should be enabled by the Energy Management Software, but it is not the case.
There were also some posts regarding a stand-alone One Key Theatre driver, but I cannot find any such thing on the Z570 drivers download page. Just to confirm, I do not have any "unknown device" in the device manager and the version of the Energy Management Software I installed is the 6.0.1.6 from 2011-03-29.
When plugged into the adapter my Levovo Z570 screen flickers between bright and dark when on certain webpages or doing certain tasks. I have changed the battery and this makes no difference. This doesnt happen when on battery power.
Note that the brightness is flicking between the battery brightness setting and plugged in brightness setting. So if there is a large difference between the two the flickering is very noticable and distracting. If I make the battery brightness the same as the plugged in brightness the flickering doesnt happen.
Lenovo IdeaPad Z570 15.6 inch Laptop - Gunmetal (Intel Core i7 2670QM, RAM 8GB, HDD 750GB, NVIDIA GT520M 1GB, Blu ray, WLAN, BT, Webcam, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
My Ideapad Z570 has been doing this for some time - the screen is black, lights are on, and won't wake up. I inevitably end up turning it off, so I lose my work.
I've delayed the sleep mode to reduce the number of instances...
I own a lenovo ideapad Z570, and want to upgrade to a larger HDD(from 600GB to 1TB). The only thing bothering me is the "OneKey Recovery".
So, my question is : How do I make the OEM and Recovery partitions, just after installing windows7 on a new(blank) HDD to facilitate the "OneKey Recovery".
As already mentioned my laptop will only use integrated hd 3000 graphics while i have a 6770m onboard.
I have good drivers for both (or i assume since there's no warning in device manager). Whenver I try to play a game though, only the integrated graphics are available and it doesn't switch while playing because i get 20 fps on lowest settings while playing while i could play most games with up to 60 fps on high. Catalyst control center also has a problem while installing because my hardware version isn't supported even though the auto detect picked the download i need. It is a common problem with alienware laptops as far as i found on the web but these all have nvidia graphic cards.
I have a HP Pavilion dv6 6b50eb, my 6770m hardware id is PCI(slash)VEN_1002&DEV_6740&SUBSYS_3388103C&REV_00
I've been looking at the Dell Vostro 1320 and been messing around with the upgrades, but I noticed that whenever I try to place the Nvidia 9300M I get a compatibility error
So I have a HP pavilion dv6 laptop with an intergrated Intel HD 4000 Graphics card and I want to run Warframe wich requiers 256 MB of dedicated memory and I only have 64.Is there any way I can increase the Dedicated Graphics memory?

I own this laptop for 2 years and still never had my dedicated videocard working. It didn't even work when I bought it off the store o.O so basically i got quite sick of it and tried to get it all fixed up, so I went through everything I could think of, just everything that "Might" fix the problem.
I tried all of this in Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. I've set the videocard options in the bios to both fixed and dynamic. Neither works. All of the drivers have been installed, including the latest AMD Apu driver. (I tried the official one from amd.com and the one from the HP support centre) The graphics settings for both my Intel HD Graphics and my AMD Radeon HD gpu are set to maximum performance. Disabling the HD Graphics 3000 driver so it could only run on the AMD gpu didn't work either. (Actually, everything stopped working in an instance;p) Installing an older driver didn't work either. AC/DC has been plugged in the whole time (This should have effect when settings in bios are set on "Fixed". This was not the case)
I've tried a few more things but it's getting a little bit too long to read;p
I recently purchased a HP 15-D103TX laptop, which originally ran Free DOS on it. I have successfully updated my OS to Windows 8, and have installed all the drivers from the HP website. The laptop has dedicated 2GB Nvidia Geforce 820M graphic card.
But when I checked, I found that Windows is showing the Dedicated Graphics Memory as 0MB.
As you can see in the screenshot, it shows Dedicated Graphics Memory as 0MB.
You can't Change your Graphics card, is there any graphics card that i can use through the PCI express slot, or the the expansion port? the laptop is hp pavillion dv2000 (exactly: dv2132ea) since i don't want to go through the hassle of changing my laptop. I just need a better vga card
I have a lenovo Thinkpad Edge 15 i believe if not the product id 031925U I was searching the web and couldn't really find anything about this laptops graphics crad besides it's intel. So is it possible at all to upgrade the graphics card in this laptop. If so what graphics cards are compatibale?
On they old keyboard, there was a dedicated green indicatory light on the key itself, which is missing on the keyboard. Now, I realize that the new keyboard affects all thinkpads alike, but the reason I'm posting this here is because my Thinkpad Edge (E530) has a dedicated numpad, thereby making me use the numlock much more often
I am aware of the often-suggested windows 7 software-sided fix: screen resolution > advanced settings > on screen display
However, the issue with this is that is that it groups the caps lock and numlock together. What if I want the numlock to be default on and NOT shown on-screen, but still wanted to be reminded on-screen if I [accidentally] have the caps lock on?
Is there a solution to this or is this another problem that Lenovo overlooked when upgrading the keyboard?
I recently purchased a Lenovo ... so I was trying to get some games running on my big screen with my lenovo y50 laptop which I should have set to always use the 860m dedicated card. But when I'm running a second display it defaults to using the Intel 4600 chip, obviously not great for running games. I've tried looking every where in the Nvidia control panel and Intels control panel but can't find anything to fix this issue. That HDMI port is the only display port on the laptop as well.
I'm not able to install the latest graphics driver from nvidia. It installs the latest GeForce Experience software but that says the 332.50 driver is up to date. The 337.88 driver is WHQL certified and lists compatibility with the 860m but when trying to install it, it says "This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware." On nvidia's website, it says "Your product manufacturer requires you to download a driver for your device from their website" but it's 332.50 is pretty outdated at this point. Any way I can get the updated drivers installed?
