Can you install ATI Leaked Driver for laptop with your Sony laptop? ATI will release drivers for laptops in the near future but Sony has asked ATI not to include Sony with it.
I have brought a new dell studio 1435 laptop and they provided me with default windows vista home premiun OS.

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FS93S laptop. It is about 4-5 years old. I bought it in Thailand so I think it is a Sony Asian region model.
I installed Windows 7 on it today without any problems. It runs fine, but I am having some driver problems as expected. Even though there are a couple of red lights in the Device Manager, all my hardware is working fine except for the wireless network card. I don’t mind the errors in the Device Manager as long as everything works somehow. But I also can’t get the function keys working on the laptop, which I would like to have working too.
I called Sony in Thailand and they said the laptop is too old so Sony won’t be supporting it with new drivers for Windows 7.
Are there any Windows 7 drivers from other Vaio models which might be compatible with my laptop?
I went from the official Beta 1 build 7000 to build 7022 last night, and so far I am very pleased. Greatest benefit so far has got to be the vastly improved stability of IE8 RC1, as well as overall system stability. Anyone else make the switch?
I've found out there's newer drivers for my Studio laptop for webcam, wireless, etc.
I updated the BIOS and it went fine. My question is do I have to uninstall current driver before installing new one? On Dell web site, they only give general instructions and don't mention this.
If I install new driver over the old one, will I have 2 versions and can go back (in device manager) if the new driver doesn't work as well
I change windows vista to xp to my hp dv6500 laptop i find all drivers except nvidia video driver , when i try to install the driver " Nvidia setup program couldnot locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware.setup will now exit" .
Hp pavilion dv6500 S/n: CNF7496BP3 P/N : GZ945EA#BV Service Tag : dv6670ee
I have 3 old games that run super fast in XP, and I've read that a common fix seems to be running in Uniprocessor mode. XP only installs the ACPI Multiprocessor driver, and I can't change it. I can only select ACPI Multiprocessor, or Standard PC, and when I changed it to Standard PC I lost my keyboard and mouse (and subsequently had to reinstall XP).
Is there any way to either tell Bootcamp to disable one core, or to install XP with the Uniprocessor driver?
I'm running the early 2009 white macbook, and XP Home SP3.
I have downloaded the blutooth driver from HP 15-d002tx Notebook PC Drivers. I am using windows 7 64 bit OS. Before i used to use bluetooth dongle. I uninstalled this driver from device manager. After this i tried to installed the bluetooth driver which i have downloaded from Hp main site it is showing me error like The device may not be present or could have been ejected/unplugged from the system.
Recently i bought  HP-D107TX notebook and i tried to install the WLAN driver form your site. But it is not installing. When i click on the setup.exe it unpacks the drivers and a message is showing "This program is installed correctly" and "Reinstall using recommended setting". Till now wireless is not working in my lap.
I just got a new laptop. But there seems to be a problem with the Broadcom Wireless Driver. When I install the driver it always stops at the middle and says Error"PBR_REL_5_10 827" Do you think that the Wifi(device) is broken? I just installed Vista.
i have HP Pavilion 15-n043ee , after i formatted the laptop i can't install the network driver again. Â it is windows 7 - 64 bit , contains ralink radio model RT 3290 .
I just got at new envy and wanted to reinstall windows 7, to get rid of all the preinstalled software.
After I reinstalled, windows 7 wasn't able to download the drivers it self so i had to do it manually. So I did and now i got two problems.
#1:I can't install my wireless network driver. I tried installing the driver on the website but without result. I can see the network card in the device manager though, as a unknown device called network controller. I've tried removing it, but that didn't work either.
#2:I can't get my volume up/down buttons too work. That's the only two quick buttons that doesn't work. I got the audio beats button working too.I tried installing the media packages on the hp website after reading on a website that this could be the problem, but i wasn't able to install the packages. The pc just opens the setup files, but after extracting nothing happens.
I just received a refurbished M4400 and had no problem changing it to the A03 bios.
When I tried to install the latest Nvidia 179.48 notebook gpu driver (for Windows XP -32 bit), I get the following message...
"The Nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatable with your current hardware. Setup will now terminate."
Can anyone tell me why this gpu driver will not load? Do I have to do something different in order to get this driver to be accepted by this M770 business gpu?
To start off with one of the main reasons I purchased this product, is the advertisement that its Intel cpu supported wireless display  The product is an Acer V3 111P P16L, it has the Intel N3530 CPU , specification can be found here : " see screenshot for proof)
[URL]
According to the spec in the link , this CPU supports the Wireless Display (AKA WiDi )correct me if I am wrong?   Also I specifically upgraded to a  compatible Dual band NIC , the network card installed in the product supports Widi ( Intel Dual Band 7260 NIC)See screen shot below
however when initializing the Widi Update tool , the tool appears to start working then failsÂ
I made a huge mistake in offering to put W7 on a G6-2244sa laptop for an erlederly lady! Â I've got W7 installed but I can't find the correct drivers (and that after six hours of searching).
The DM4 has no operating system, for unknown reasons, and cannot be started up  Revovery discs were never generated. The hard drive and ram passed all tests.  I tried to reinstall a new Windows operating system using internal CD , but the system cannot be installed.
The following Windows message, appears: "No signed device driver found". Â How can I overcome this problem and re-install Windows?
I recently had to open up my HP G7 laptop to blow the dust of my fan and under the keyboard. When I put they keyboard back together, my wifi didn't work. I'm now on a ethernet connection. Opening network connection, there's no wifi adapter icon. I've tried installing the driver, but mid install I get this message "The driver files you wish to remove will not be removed as the corresponding card is not installed". I don't know what this means, but when I finish the install, the wireless connection is still not shown in network connections, and the driver doesnt show on device manager. What else can I try?
I have a dell inspiron 6000 computer and installed Ram into my laptop. The thing was i tried to push it in and it would not go in. I then later saw there was a spot where u can push the ram in and eventually got it in. I did use lot of force pushing it in.
When i open my laptop, it opens but the screen is black and then turns off in like 7 seconds. I then took out the new ram and installed the old ram. It still has the same problem. Does that mean my laptop does not work anymore? Does it also mean i cannot return my RAM to the online site where i purchased my ram since theres a 30 day policy?
My acer 5100 came with vista and I'm trying to do a fresh install of XP SP2 on it.
After I get past the partitioning part in the install process, it goes on to the "installing windows" stage and shuts off midway. This has been happening a few times and after some googling, reckoned it has to do with the SATA hard drive.
I tried to get on Bios and change the SATA to IDE but I didnt find any modifiable property for the hard drive on BIOS
I'm wondering some of you folks who installed XP on a vista laptop got it done.
I just got a Acer Aspire V3 771-6605 with Windows 8.1. My touch pad wouldn't scroll or respond to any finger gestures, so I tried installing the ELANTECH and Synaptics touch pad drivers from the acer support site for my laptop. However, after I restarted the computer I keep getting stuck at the screen right before where you put in your password (the lock screen?). The only keys that seem to do anything are the function keys.Â
My dad bought this really cool notebook with gaming entry parts. I was wanting to install the latest driver on the Nvidia webiste but it keeps telling me that the hardware is undetected. I tried uninstalling both the Nvidia and the Intel driver but nothing seems to work. How to stop this error from occuring?
yesterday my E330 arrived with no operating system installed. After the Windows 7 Ultimate installation was finished I was already disappounted, because no driver was detected. So I had to manually download all drivers from the slow lenovo site. After I installed all drivers (also BIOS updates and Win updates) the Wlan wasnt working. Tried both, the realtek and the broadcom driver, none of them is working. Can't conntact the support because the page won't load. After a few hours of trying to fix the problem I dont know what to do anymore.
I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Y560 which had both Intel and AMD drivers installed correctly, switchable graphics was also functioning properly. Â The problem started when I tried to update the 2010 AMD driver with the latest one (2011) on the officail Lenovo site. The install seemed to run through, but informed me that there were warnings during the installation. I opened the linked log file, but it did not include any errors or warnings, only that the installation ran through successfully. Â As the driver version still showed that it was the 2010 driver which is installed, I uninstalled the driver, and tried to install the 2011 driver again after a reboot. It once again said that the installation was successfull, but with warnings (still no warning in the log file). When I tried to check the driver version, it turned out that the AMD graphics card is not visible in the device manager, not even as an unrecognised device. Â I then tried to install the old 2010 driver (the original driver installation files were already on my D: drive upon delivery), but got the same results as with the 2011 driver. Â Removing any AMD/ATi related programs did not work either, I still get a "finished" installation with warnings, and a log file without warnings or errors. Â OS is Windows 7 (64bit)
GPU:Â ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 (+Intel HD...)
Switchable graphics is turned on in BIOS. Â how I could get the system to recognise the attached ATi graphics card, or at least realize that it is there?
I have HP Pavilion-g6 1301tx operating system Windows 7 Home Basic 64Bit consist of recovery partition so i want to install windows 8 in my pc so can i format the c drive and install it or i can upgrade the c drive Â
