Some days ago I upgraded to windows 8.1 64 bit but when i download the latest driver for amd radeon hd 8750m and installed it..but when i opened the graphics control centre the was no options except information..even not in advansed view..so i can't configure the options..when i opened a game to test the GPU it was not working...there was a lot of frame skips..but previously i didn't have any skips..so what should i do.
After reading many reviews here, I finally ordered and received my Studio XPS with the RGBLED screen. I felt the reds were a little harsh so I made a few adjustments in Catalyst Control Center that seemed to help.
But I still wanted to make a few more adjustments...So before I got too deep I checked and saw there was an updated driver. So now I updated the driver and it seemed to install okay except now the Catalyst Control Center won't open.
I wanted to update my ATI CCC driver. So I downloaded the latest ccc, uninstalled from from my laptop, restarted, installed latest ccc, restarted. Now when I start windows 7 the little icon doesnt show up in the system tray.
I have an ati mobility radeon 4200 on windows 7 x64.
My laptop model is HP Envy 6 1178-sai just updated my graphic card (AMD 7670HD series to driver 13.251.0.0) and now the Catalyst Control Centre application is not opening at all, not even an error sign pops upwhat should i do?

I have Paviliion dv6-6120se, AMD radeon hd 6490M and built-in intel GPU hd 3000  both GPUs is working fine but the problem started when i uninstalled the Catalyst Control Center in order to get a new updated one from AMD website. But the AMD site said my version of radeon hd 6490M is not supported anyway i have tried everything i uninstalled the ATI GPU driver and install it again. Somehow I downloaded Catalyst Control Center the and the installation finished and the same problem it is still not working. Now i lost the Catalyst Control Center and the switchable graphics config.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy laptop is dell inspirion 5520 with core i5, 8GB memory and amd radeon HD 7670M. When i bought adm radeon switchable graphic works ok. Yesterday, I update the graphic driver. version is 8.933.3.4 from dell website.
Previous version is 8.933.3.0.
After updating, catalyst control center can't load. So, I roll back previous driver version but the catalyst control center can't load.
I think switchable graphic not work.

Also I specifically upgraded to a  compatible Dual band NIC , the network card installed in the product supports Widi ( Intel Dual Band 7260 NIC)See screen shot below
however when initializing the Widi Update tool , the tool appears to start working then failsÂ
So I am trying to play Dragon Age Inquisition on my newly aquired Acer VN7-571g. It's equipped with a gtx 850m. When I'm trying to start the game I get this error message "Detected NVIDIA driver is 333.17. The required driver version is 340.52 or later. Please update your drivers at geforce.com/drivers before playing the game" Now the problem is that the driver from acer is version 333.17. If I try to install a newer driver directly from geforce it won't recognize the dedicated GPU and will run on the integrated intel HD graphics in stead.

On March 24th we will post the official Catalyst™ 10.3 WHQL certified on amd.com. The difference between the two is that Catalyst™ 10.3a Preview will contain future Eyefinty 6 updates and an Alien vs. Predator optimization which the Catalyst™ 10.3 WHQL posting does not have.

Sorry to bother folks with this nuisance, however, I updated my ATI Mobility Radeon 4650 drivers via Dell's website to 8.65 and ever since, the Catalyst Control Center refuses to run. I politely click on it, the machine thinks for a while and then, rather rudely, simply ignores my request.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy current OS is Windows 8 Pro, Display driver: AMD 13-4_mobility_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql.exe1  If set Backlit brightness to level 2 for example, and after some time display turns off (turn off display after X minute) by itself, or restart the laptop; the Backlit brightness level remains same (level 2) but the actual Luminosity (Intensity of backlit) changes to something else.2  If I decrease the Backlit brightness (Fn + F4) to level 0 (the minimum level), and if I further press the key combination (Fn + F4) to decrease Backlit brightness, it will change the Backlit brightness, but the Backlit brightness should not be changing because it already reaches to the minimum level.This issue doesn't happen in Windows 7 with the same driver. this apart from reverting back to ATI v12.1 ?

I've been browsing through the Acer website to try and find the forceware updates to no avail

Currently using NVidia graphics version 7.15.10.9755 the only one listed on Acers site for the 9300 series running Vista.
While I was playing around with a clean install of Vista on a 9301 Microsoft updates installed (recommended/optional update) a new driver which turned out to be 7.15.11.6369
Anyone know anything about this version. It seemed to work really well, and had many features the earlier one doesn't. Is it a notebook driver ? I also couldn't find it anywhere to download.
When i put a DVD in no picture shows up- there is still audio and i can still click options but i cannot see what i am selecting. I also tried playing a youtube video which showed up as a green screen. Ive looked around and it says i need to update my graphics driver. I already looked on the acer website for a graphics driver download and i cannot find one.

But I've seen pictures of people with three finger drag(such as top/bottom/left/right of screen to open anything) and pinch zoom. I've tried a few driver versions and can't find which one has both.
So the question is, which driver version has all that I mentioned?
I have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit version. I have the windows 7 drivers (latest) for this but the windows rating for aero and gaming has gone down, which drivers are recommended for this card (1GB)?
View 6 Replies View RelatedAs I had been having a couple of minor problems with a temporary dim screen on startup and occasional screen flicker, I decided to upgrade the NVIDIA display driver on my 5920G.
Unfortunately I rather carelessly installed driver update 180.48 for a 8800 GS rather than the correct 178.24 for the 8600GT on my laptop.
It installed fully and the display still seems to be working OK (but screen flicker still there)
I am wondering whether or not it is OK to leave the 180.48 driver as it is or whether I should roll the driver upgrade back and then install 178.24.
To be honest I find installing drivers quite complicated and difficult so I would prefer to take no action unless the expert advice from members of this forum says it will cause me future problems.
Every time I start up my Extensa 4420, I get the following error message window:
"The Catalyst Control Center is not supported by the driver version of your enabled graphics adapter. Please update your ATI graphics driver, or enable your adapter using the Displays Manager."
Why is this happening? If I go into the device manager, it says that the graphics adapter is working. If I tell it to check for updated drivers it says that the driver I have installed is the most current one. Everything seems to work fine on the computer. How can I stop the message from popping up every time?
