HP Pavilion G6-2260sh Networking :: Slow Download Speed But Upload Is Fine?
Jun 16, 2014I've got an HP Pavilion g6-2260sh notebook with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system. My problem is that the internet download speed had fallen from 80 Mbits to 3-4 Mbits. The upload speed stayed the same as before, 25 Mbits. My notebook is connected to a router with another notebook and a PC. Those 2 computers have excellent internet speeds. I've reinstalled the operating system, but the issue still persists. After the reinstallation, the speed was fine for maybe an hour and then it dropped to 3-4. I only installed drivers from the hp driver finder, nothing else. I've tried the connection with cable and wi-fi with the same results. The device manager shows 1 Unknown device and 1 missing driver for Ralink_RT3290_Bluetooth_01

Mar 9, 2010I'm using a Dell M-1530 laptop which had a factory installed Vista OS. Now I have bought a Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit OS and did a clean install (no upgrade), I used the Vista drivers and everything seems OK...
But, I have not full upload speed, I'm using a 10/10 Mb/s fiber/LAN internet connection. Download is as before 9,5 Mb/s but upload only ab. 3 Mb/s.
My second PC, a desktop with XP, shows 9,5/9,5 Mb/s and they are connected to the same router. I have changed LAN-cables but there is no change.
I have tried "DrTCP" but it did'nt make any major difference.

Nov 10, 2014My HP G50 will start but the Windows Vista will not upload. I've pressed the F 10 and F 11 buttons. Memory is good. I've backed up my files using the F 11 back up function. I've tried to go back to an earlier date using system restore, no results. Can I reset the computer to factory defaults, there is function in the F 11 button, and then retrieve my files. Do I need a recovery disc?

Oct 15, 2008One thing I miss going from a Inspiron 6000 to a M1530 is the onscreen volume meter bar when you press the louder and softer volume buttons on the Media Bar. On my Inspiron 6000, a gui bar pops up when you adjust the volume using the media bar buttons to let you know exactly where your volume is set at. I don't even know when to stop pressing the volume up button because I don't know when the volume is maxed out on my M1530. Anybody know of a way to make the onscreen volume meter return?

The problem is With Vista there was a toolbar option that displayed "battery level", "charging status" and allowed to use the following settings

Nov 23, 2008I've noticed that my battery meter/AC power icon has disappeared from my system tray. I'm not sure how to make it reappear. I'm not even sure how it suddenly disappeared in the first place. The reason why I want this icon to always be there is so that I can tell how much battery power I have left on my laptop. Also, when I am charging my laptop battery and letting my laptop run on AC power, the battery icon turns into the AC power icon.How do I get it to reappear?
