My sound is no longer working. At all even off of my videos stored on my laptop. Around the same time I lost my sound my laptop also stopped playing and videos from the internet (YouTube, Facebook, Etc.) I've installed all the driver as I had read. But and still nothing.

When I start up my HP 1000-1433TU Notebook PC the Sound and Audio cuts out and becomes unable to play videos. How do I get the sound working and stay working as well as the videos becoming playable? so far the only option that has worked is shutting down the PC and tuning it back on, but the issues reoccurs within 10 minutes.
View 1 Replies View Relatedi have recently purchased and HP Envy 17 laptop and have been trying to backup all of my iPhone 5s photos and videos onto the laptop however every time i try to play videos either through the photos folder or the photos library app nothing works.In the photo app the app just freezes and crashes and in the photos documents folder media player just comes up not responding. This happens with the vast majority of my videos.
I have seen that other people have had the same issue and i have installed the VLC video app as suggested and still nothing works. There has been an IOS update since i started taking videos however this makes no diffeence as the handful of videos that do work are from both before and after the update so it can not be an issue with my phone and the videos i have taken in the last few days dont work... how i can fix this?
Using earphone, when i play vidoes. I can hear static or hissing sound on the background, and stops after 5 seconds of closing media player...

My 2 weeks old HP Mini 200-4220tu makes random static noises (ZZZZZTT sound) when i play music/watch youtube vids.. i have installed/reinstalled idt high def audio codec from the hp website but the problem still persists.. i already performed hard reset (as i have read from other posts here: remove battery and power for a few mins) to no avail.. the static sound wont go away ...

My configuration is: i7 2630QM, GT555M, 6 GB.i played video online and played game ( Skyrim, COD, A.V.A online) smoothly. But for 2, 3 months ago, my laptop slows down and spikes very much. When i watch video online, the screen will freeze 3 to 8 seconds but the sound is still playing. I want to know how much it would cost to have my sound port / speaker port replaced on my Dell Inspiron 1750 Laptop. If you plug in speakers or a headset you have to wiggle the cord to hear anything but it keeps going out. So I'd need to send it in and have it fixed. I no longer have a warranty.

I waited for a while but it changes nothing the only way i can switch the power LED off is by removing the battery.... Holding the power button for a few seconds doesn't switch it off... Also when i plug the power adapter without battery, i can see the power adapter LED also lighting....No fan spins, no HDD light. Tried with Other new universal adapter and new battery. Not working.
Removed Battery and pressed power button for 30 seconds and tried removing static power if any.Nothing happens. Only power light is on No fan spins, no HDD light.

I recently purchased a stock-standard Inspiron 3521 Touch running windows 8.
The touchscreen worked for the first few days but has subsequently stopped working which I suspect is due to windows/other software updates.
The system is not showing/recognising any Tablet and Pen hardware/drivers.
My touchpad works fine when on battery power but when charged it goes crazy I have an Inspiron 15 3521. I don't have warranty anymore...

I've noticed that:
1. There is no longer an A/V control panel under "Window" or wherever it formally was, and;
2. Two-fingered scrolling on the touchpad speeds up playback without changing pitch, but as soon as I lift my fingers, 1.0x playback resumes.
Looking to get through some videos at a faster rate. How can I make 1.5x stick? I know QT on Windows can do this easily.

I bought A new Dell Inspiron 3521 Laptop and after installing windows 8 I was about to download the drivers from dell site any way I found that all drivers links are not working and it'd always popup a message saying :

My laptop (Dell Inspiron 15 3521 model) was working fine until this week. It suddenly slowed down.
Once I turn it on, it works fine but after 30 mins - 1hr, it begins to slow down. While I type words on my keyboard, it would take a minute or so for them to appear on screen in MS Word. My browser would also slow down in loading. When I try to close programs, they would go "NOT RESPONDING" and when I try to open programs, it would take minutes for them to open up. I also tried plugging in a flash drive and the laptop took 3 minutes to recognize it.
What caused this sudden slow down? Is it because of an update? Or does my computer need repair? I've only used it for 7 months.

View 1 Replies View RelatedTouch pad is no longer working. I have had my Dell Inspiron 17R for abut 15 months and the touchpad has not worked for at least 12 of them. At first I noticed the problem after my computer would install updates and I'd have to restore the computer to a particular snapshot point. That worked for all of one week. Then I also checked the drivers. That was unsuccessful. I have also tried pressing F3 + Fn and nothing. I won't begin to mention that I have to hold this laptop a particular way to get it to turn on.... I do know, the touchpad on a basically new laptop is supposed to work and the device is supposed to turn on when you press the power button without having to do some form of sorcery.
