View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought my HP 15 a few days ago and since yesterday (after I restarted it) it can't find my network. Also, sometimes it finds all the surrounding networks, sometimes one or two, sometimes none of them, but it never shows mine.
All my other devices connect to the network just fine and also when I connect the laptop via Ethernet cable internet works normally. I tried reinstalling the adapter and driver, but nothing happens, the problem is still here.
I Have purchased a Dell Inspiron 15 3537. I installed windows 7 64 bit. I cant find the drivers for the wifi n/w card.I tried installing the windows 8 wifi driver for this model but its not working.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've received a used HP Pavilion G6 - 1C40CA.
There was a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium- 64bit.
After searching around online, got a hint of what to do.
Made it to the Device Manager, these are missing or non existant (small yellow exclamation triangle):
Ethernet Controller (Hardware ID: PCI/VEN_10EC&DEV_8136)
Network Controller (Hareware ID: PCI/VEN_14E4&DEV_4727)
PCI Device (Hareware ID: PCI/VEN_10EC&DEV_5209)
SM Bus Controller (Hardware ID: PCI/VEN_1022&DEV_780B)
Along with finding the proper downloads, I'm not sure in which order I should be installing them (if there is a specific order at all), and if I need to reboot every time I install something new.
I lost wi-fi internet on my Inspiron 1545, running Vista (6 or so years old). The network adapter was showing up as not installed or not working. I tried returning to earlier restore point. No good. System restore no good. Finally I reinstalled the Vista OS from disk that came with the laptop. But still no network adapter showing in Device Manager. When I insert Resource CD, the WLAN mini-cards are showing up as installed on the system, but no sign of them listed in Device Manager.
So my question is: how do I install the network adapter, or get the system to recognize it if it's there? There is nothing on the resource CD called "network adapter" to install, and I don't see anything like that to download here on the Dell site. Any thoughts?
Oh, I ran the system diagnostics on the Resource CD. In addition to the battery needing replacing (which I already knew) I got the following:
Error code 4400:011A
Msg: SCSI-0-000_DISK_GENERIC_MULTI-CARD-Target not ready
I have Dell Inspiron n7110. In my notebook install Dell Wireless 1702 802.11b/g/n. Recently notice that I can not find any Wi-Fi network. But in Task Manager I see that Dell Wireless module is working properly. I reinstall all drivers twice, but it's still don't work and don't find any Wi-Fi network.

My new Inspiron is having an issue with connecting to my home wifi. The router (UPC TC 7200 U) is set to 5 GHz on Channel 40 with n-standard and delivers a strong signal on all other devices that are connected.According to the product description the Inspiron 7000 should have no problems finding this network as it has a dual-band wifi card. The issue also doesn't lie with the router as other new devices that I brought to my home can find and connect to the network without any problems.I downloaded and installed the current intel and dell drivers for the wifi card; still I cannot find the 5GHz network on my new dell.

There are two variants of drivers :
Dell Wireless 1704 WiFi + Bluetooth Driver and
Dell Wireless 1705 WiFi + Bluetooth Driver
the 1704 installs ok but the 1705 reports an error and doesn't install at all. Normally should they install both? Each of them does a different thing ? Why are there two drivers for same thing?

I have had this laptop for a few months now but have never really had to use WiFi - now I need WiFi I find the laptop will not connect to my router, it also displays no WiFi networks. I have opened Device Manager/Network Adapters and the wireless adapter is apparently up to date and working correctly. The adapter is a Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11b/g/n Wi Fi Adapter. The laptop is just a few paces away from the router so should easily receive the signal, my Android shows the router signal strength at 100% with a speed of 150Mbps. Why the laptop will not connect to WiFi ....
I'm trying to figure out which driver I need to install for a network adapter on a HP 2000-219DX Notebook. I saw the list of drivers for it, and got the Ralink 802.11 b/g/n WiFi Adapter driver file from another PC. I'm not sure how to install this or if I should use another driver altogether. What do I do?

While I tried to install the drivers, the drivers suitable, as identified by dell software, was for ethernet and none of the wireless/bluetooth drivers where selected as suitable. When I go to the device manager I couldnt see any wireless adapters that need drivers.

I manage to pair my 2-in-1 pc Acer Switch 10 with an externat Bluetooth (bt) device only when the tablet is connected to my home wifi network. As soon as I disconnect from the wifi network, the pairing with the bt device is disabled. If I try to pair the bt device when wifi connection is off, the pairing succeeds just for a few seconds (1 or 2) and then it disconnects.
The support assistance of the bt device, since it actually manages to pair with the pc in such wifi wird conditions, suggested that it probably can be a problem due to the chip of the pc that probably manages both the wifi and the bt connections and is not able to manage them separately.

and updating the bt driver downloaded from the ACER Drivers and Manuals webpage. However, the installation procedure were interrupted as the installed bt driver appears to be "later".
I updated my HP Pavilion g6-2293sa Notebook PC to Windows 8.1 advance release and the WiFi adaptor no longer connects to my router. The driver states all is working but no wifi is found; the PC crashes sometimes when running the trouble shooter.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI bought a new Dell D830 about three days ago for school. I connected to my schools wireless network just fine, and I did this for about two days until I headed back home.
Here we have a wired network and it even worked fine here for about a day. Now I cannot seem to connect to anything here.
I checked the modem, different cables, and I tried to run through the repair option but I still got the same message, 'There might be a problem with one or more network adapters on this computer'. I do have Vista on the computer but besides that the only things Ive loaded are Trend Micro and Mozilla.
Will it effect both wired and wireless networks on this computer?
I just changed mine Windows 7 64 bit os to windows 7 32 bit os. After setup all of the driver were installed beside Network Controller which i think the wireless lan is. My laptop is N4110 inspiron.

i bought a acer laptop @ bestbuy and it came with preinstall vista home. i used the computer fine and all and the internet connects to my router find and was surfing the internet. i then decided to install a fresh copy of my own vista ultimate because i dont like the preinstall stuff that they did because it just clutters up space. after i finish my install of vista ultimate, my laptop doesn't connect to the internet. i know this is simply but i dont see network adapters under the device manager in the computer management screen. i am worried because if i have to install the driver, then i would see some icons with a yellow exclamation mark, but i dont see NETWORK ADAPTERS AT ALL. i dont know how to solve this? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks all. i've tried to press scan for new hardware changes but still i dont see the network adpaters. i thought if you install vista ultimate, then it will install the wireless drivers for you too.
