have Dell Laptop Series N5050 with Window 7 Home basic. Its Webcam Drivers are not working properly. I want to have a Video Chat but due to the webcam problems I am unable to do so. I use Dell drivers to update them but No solution found.
View 2 RepliesI just bought a T430u but I cannot get the WebCam to work properly. When I use for example the Windows 8 camera app or Skype the green light next to the WebCam turns on but instead of seeing me on the screen I just find a grey picture with a white crossed out camera.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI got Inspiron 15R 5520 with Windows 8 and after I installed this OS my webcam doesn't work properly anymore.Well, actually it's work but sometimes. But almost all the time Skype telling me that I should close all the programs that may use the webcam, but I haven't any other apps that uses webcam, Is there some additional drivers or application I should install? BTW it worked properly on Windows 7. And it IS working on Ubuntu so I presume that's a software issue.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently got this computer. When I got it, i tried the webcam and it worked ok. The second time I tried to use it, with the "Camera" Windows app, I get a message that says "To get started, connect a camera".
I googled for solutions and discovered that the "Imaging devices" category had disappeared from the Device Manager.
I downloaded several drivers, and the only one that worked was this one. After installing it, the camera worked ok, and the "Imaging devices" reappeared in the device manager. However, after rebooting the computer, the camera stopped working again and the "imaging devices" category disappeared as well.
This is a temporal solution because everytime I want to use the camera I have to install the drivers first, knowing that sooner or later the camera will stop working and the device will not be recognized by Windows anymore.

I getting video less than 30 fps with complete resolution(1920 *1080). I have tried uninstalling AMD driver and install a new driver from dell website(A04). But driver uninstalled with errors and i am unable to install a new driver. Now I am unable to select switchable graphics.

My laptop's bluetooth is not work.I don't know what to do.I reinstall the driver but the same.In Device Manager ,it say that window has stop this device because it has report problems.(Code 43).

3days back droped my laptop? My system is Dell Inspiron N5010, it has a i5 processor and 6 GB of DDR3 RAM.
Basically, here's what happens:
1. I press the button to turn on my laptop
2. Everything seems to work fine
3. sometimes windows properly startsup and after 5-10min my laptop unexpectedly turns off???
4. today i tried to diagnose my laptop.. when i press F12 and strat diagnose after 2mins it turns of automatically ??
I have a Dell Inspiron 1440 which I've been using since 2010. Recently I bought a new charger for my laptop as the old one got damaged and now when I'm charging the laptop the touch pad is not working properly. It is slow and sometimes I can't select items with the touch pad. So I changed the charger and when I checked in the shop the touch pad with new charger (the second one) was working fine. But when I went home again the same problem with the touch pad when charging only. When I remove the charger it works fine. And I also tried with a friends charger (but another dell model) and it works fine. And now my laptop battery indicator is blinking red three times. That also happens when charging only.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe touchpad of my Inspiron N4050 stops working properly everytime i plug my external HD that is AC powered or the HDMI cable. It doesn't matter if the AC of the laptop is connected or not, the touchpad becomes impossible to use. I tried using it in other places thinking of an energy problem at my place, but it still occurs. Other laptops work normaly with the external harddrive and the HDMI.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've been working on this issue on my own for about a week now. I'm not entirely sure how to start explaining, so I'll just do a rundown of the noticable issues.
Hovering over the speaker icon gives me the text, "No speakers or headphones are plugged in." I use the internal speakers, and I always have my headphones plugged in. Audio playback troubleshooting doesnt give me anything (though at one point during my progress, it said that my audio device was disabled.)
Device management has been confusing at best. I can't seem to get the Realtek W8.1 drivers to properly download, even after finding the Acer-support driver.
I bought A new Dell Inspiron 3521 Laptop and after installing windows 8 I was about to download the drivers from dell site any way I found that all drivers links are not working and it'd always popup a message saying :
The requested file could not be downloaded. Invalid File I.D. The file does not exist.
I tried to change my country but the same results coming out...
I have a XPS 17 (L702X) laptop and recently updated the OS system to window 8. I haven't had any problems until I went to burn a dvd. The HL-DT-ST-DVDRWBD CT30N now say it is a cd drive only and can not burn dvds. I have never had this problem before. I tried updating the driver through the control panel and it says the driver is up to date. It also shows no restore points in which I can go back to when it was working properly.

My Dell Inspiron N5050 laptop was working fine. I got home and tried to power it on but got nothing so I figured it needed charged. I plugged the a/c adapter in and pressed the power button and still nothing? I tried removing the battery and trying to power it on with and without the a/c adapter. The only light it has lit is the charging light when its plugged in. Not even any sounds or the fan.
