I have Inspiron N5010. I downloaded the Windows 8 and the bluetooth stopped working.
I downloaded the drivers from the dell.com, but all it says is this "this product has compatibility issues" Â ...
ALSO, i can not use my webcam to take the pics. it will only turn on when using yahoo messenger or something.
How can I get the webcam to be on...

So I followed some old posts, rebooted, checked wifi key and finally Uninstalled the wifi drivers but now I can't reinstall them since I cannot connect to the internet. Im totally stuck and confused. After two days I tried to make a video call but the camera does not start ... Circle rotates the camera LED lights up but the screen is black.
I tried the site. Testmycam.com has image but blurred. Reinstalling drivers, i installed an old version of Skype version 4.2 but problem not resolved...
My webcam stopped working all of a sudden. I have HP ENVY dv6-7258nr Notebook PC with Windows 8. The camera app says "Connect a camera." and the device manager does not show "Imaging Devices". Instead there is "Other Devices" which has a subcategory of "Unknown Devices" with a yellow mark.
I have updated, reinstalled cyberlink youcam drivers, tried system restore (which does not complete saying i have an anti virus open when i don't have any antivirus on my notebook) but nothing works. Scanning for hardware does not bring up any thing. I have also followed the instructions given on hp site and opened the youcam software but it does not detect the camera.
I have an L540 refurb I got a couple months ago, and the webcam suddenly stopped working. Here's what it looks like when I try to use it anywhere.

I bought a bluetooth audio receiver and it paired with the laptop and installed a driver. I was able to stream audio to the receiver but when I closed the laptop and later opened it, it stopped working.

I looked in device manager and the bloetooth radios were no longer there and there were no bluetooth devices under Network Adapters. They had been there previously.

I rebooted a few times and it still didn't work. I got it to work once and it coincided with putting the power lead in. However, it didn't work for long.

I have Dell Inspiron N5010 with Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit.
I installed the latest driver for bluetooth device
(Title : Network:Dell Wirless 365 Bluetooth DriverVersion   : A00OEM Name  : DellOEM Ver   : 6.2.1.1100 Computers : Inspiron - N5010).
I checked it in device manager and services and everything is ok. (Bluetooth service and Bluetooth support service is running and Device Manager: Dell Wireless 365 Bluetooth module, Microsoft Bluetooth enumerator ).
The bluetooth sign is on at task bar.
I try to add any device with blutooth add device wizard but It can't discover something.
If I try to connect from another notebook to dell then I can see the dell notebook but can't connect with pairing code because nothing appear on dell (Pairing popup or something else) The "Can see any other device my bluetooth" is on at dell notebook.Â
So I can't pairing and discovering by Dell but windows doesn't give any error.
I tried more driver from dell and generic windows driver and the problem doesn't appear.
My inspiron n5010 running in win7 doesn't have driver for bluetooth peripheral device and an unknown device .....
I installed microsoft fix it for hardware and devices, they detected problem but unable to solve. So that i can use my bluetooth .....

Today after installing an update for the wireless adapter the device manager reported that the Intel Bluetooth 4.0 device was faulting. Tried to dissable and re-enable but the device simply dissapeared. Now device manager reports a "Unknown USB device" with error 43, and bluetoth devices are not detected, no matter how many times I reboot.

X220 tablet (about 2.5 yrs old, out of warranty) was working completely fine last night; this morning, no sound is coming from the laptop, either through speakers or through headphones (audio jack). Â I am, however, able to get sound through a bluetooth-connected speaker.

I had hoped this was a software issue. Â Tried uninstalling/installing all sound devices, updating BIOS, updating drivers, system restore to previous date, rebooting a million times, etc. Â No joy.

When I run the sound troubleshooter, it says that no speaker, headset, or headphone appears to be plugged in. Â The sound icon has a little red circle/white X next to it. Â When I try to plug in headphones, nothing happens -- does not seem to detect the event. Â When I press the mute and volume buttons on the tablet, no response.

Also, under Device Manager -> Sound, video and game controllers, it lists only "Bluetooth Hands-free Audio" and "Intel Display Audio". Â I don't think either of these is the normal X220 audio driver, is it? Â What else should be there? Â I downloaded the Conexant Audio Software from Lenovo's site (this is what came up when I searched for audio drivers for the X220 tablet), and tried to install it, but halfway through, it said the install failed because it couldn't locate the device for the driver.

This sounds like it's a hardware problem -- any way to verify? Â Also, which piece of hardware exactly? Â Is it the sound card (that's presumably integrated into the motherboard --> no easy fix)? Â I'm guessing it's not the speakers themselves since the headphone jack is also affected, but what is my best line of testing at this point to confirm that?

"The AC adapter wattage and type cannot be determined. The battery may not charge. The system will adjust the performance to match the power available. Please connect a Dell 65W AC adapter or greater for the best system performance."
I don't know why I am getting this message since:
- I am using the 65W Dell AC adapter that came with the laptop- The adapter is charging the battery properly- The green light on the adapter stays on all the time when in use- The port connection is fine
So, other than this annoying error message, everything seems to be working fine. Should I just ignore it ? If not, what else do you recommend I do ?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've got an XPS M1210 with NVidia GeForce 7400 and since last week all the pictures/videos appear blurry with artifacts, … somehow like watercolor books or with burn efect pictures. Other observation: on the Windows locking blue screen, instead the clear light blue on upper left corner, I can see something like a sun with round circles around effect. Also, on the starting black Windows screen, the words are not shown clear. See the attachements as examples.
I tought is from a corupted driver, so I rebuild the system but, without luck. Even I opened the laptop and checked all the connectors plus clear the dust but, with the same bad luck. Also I replaced the LCD with a new one but again the problem is still there = I've got one new 12.1" LCD for sale now.
I connected another monitor and also a HD TV to the laptop and on these, the pictures and video are perfect.
