I downloaded several Bluetooth drivers from dell, but nothing seems to work. I Have a Bluetooth icon on my task bar but when i connect device it says"no device found."I have run many tests but no luck so provide me with correct Bluetooth software and installation instructions.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just purchased a new Dell inspiron 3542. it came with a preinstalled Ubuntu. touch pad was working fine. I deleted Ubuntu and installed Windows 8. Now touch pad is not working and Wifi adapter is also not working. I swear its only 7 hours when i purchased this laptop. and facing these issues.
I also tried the drivers from dell website. downloaded and installed. my win8 is 64 bits.
How to resolve it. is this issue is under warranty?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI upgraded my w520 from Win 7 to Win 8 last year with zero problems. Now I upgraded my W520 Win 8 to Win 8.1 via the store download. Except the webcam everything works fine.
In e.g. the Skype desktop application, Google Hangouts or the camera app, the built in webcam no longer works.
The green light turns on, but I just get the crossed out camra icon in e.g. the Skype video options. No video.
I see there are no drivers yet for Win 8.1 on the Lenovo support site for the w520 camera. In device manager it still shows the 2011 camera driver 1.1.0.1147 and says "This device is working properly."
But it does not work properly. How to get the camera to work or is it just a matter of waiting for a driver to be released eventually?
I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, camera is enabled in the Bios and permissions are set to give Skype and the camera app access to the camera. I also tried the W530 drives as was suggested elsewhere.
Just got my aspire E5-411 today..i cant access the webcam and when i tried to check it in programs, there's no webcam installed..

I recentlly bought a new HP 14-d106TX laptop. I have installed all the drivers from HP website.
But the bluetooth doesn't seem to be working. It is not detecting any of my bluetooth devices, neither my phone or my headset.
I installed Windows 8.1(x64) and then installed all the HP Drivers downloaded from HP website. Then bluetooth was working. It stopped working(also not being shown anymore in Device Manager) after I tried installing software for HP Wireless Button Driver, it displayed an error message while installing that" Another program that is frequired for it terminated abnormally".
After this i tried uninstalling and reinstalling Bluetooth driver but still facing the same issue..
I installed windows 7 on my hp envy m7-k010dx and everything worked fine. but i got a new haerdrive and reinstalled it and all my drivers but the bluetooth doesnt seem to want to work. the system knows its there but it cant find my bluetooth mouse. do i need to reformat everything and reinstall?

Bluetooth doesn't work on my notebook. I have an Envy 15-j030eb which includes Bluetooth. I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro. Notebook product number is E4N79EA
In the device manager, I don't see Bluetooth, but there is one unknown device for which there is no driver installed, I assume this is the Bluetooth.
The HP Support Assistant couldn't locate the driver, so I tried to install the MediaTec/Ralink driver (as my WiFi adapter is from MediaTec/Ralink, I assumed the Bluetooth is from the same manufacturer). This is the driver I tried to install: [URL] ....
I tried to install the driver, the installer runs but ends without any confirmation that it was completed.
After I noticed bluetooth not working after the upgrade--doesn't even show up on device manager. I actually got it working once -can't remember where the driver came from--and then hp pushed out a new ralink driver and it's not worked since even though i've tried several things, including direct download from mediatek. I have Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter and just need a driver that will work. I think i have about 4 separate bluetooth stacks now--may be part of the problem--but the most recent one came from hp.
