View 8 RepliesDell Canada shows the base price of the E4300 has increased from about $1,920 CDN to $2,140 CDN, or just over 10%. That seems very odd to me, given the general economic situation and the number of problems Dell has had with the E4300.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just sold my m1530 on ebay cause i found this really nice deal for an SXPS13 on ebay which turned out to be a scam , now im low on cash so i was wondering when will there be price drops on the SXPS13 or 16..
And would anyone happen to know when dell is going to release new XPS models...
So I'm all set to buy a Latitude E6500, I'm just trying to save as much money as possible. Depending on whether I go through the small business or home office or whatever section on the Dell website..................

The best I've been offered is either $25 off or free $40 backlight keyboard..
I may be wrong but it looks like dell ireland have increased all the prices in their small business site by 10%! The base prices are the same but upgrading anything is now 10% more expensive.
Just from looking at precision laptops.
Upgrade to 64bit os was 50 euro, now 55 euro.
Component example, yesterday it cost 440 euro to update the graphics card on a m6400 from a FX2700M to a FX3700M, today it costs 490 for the same upgrade
I went through almost all sites looking for relevant information about dell Canada delays between order and shipment. Nothing entresting
Why don't we make ours?
I'm looking at the configurators for the 32bit and 64bit Precision M4400s, and the almost the exact same configuration (difference is 64bit has 4gb ram vs. 2gb) costs about $50 less and comes with a free monitor (not really necessary...but getting rid of it doesn't result in any price drop).
Is this an error on Dell's site, or are they actively pushing 64bit and lowering the price of the system overall intentionally?

Outlet shipping to Canada?
View 10 Replies View RelatedDell currently has a coupon code that knocks off the price down by 170$, but not on the canadian site.
Is it possible to purchase the dell from the US site and ship it to canada without having to pay duty fees? Or should I just wait for the deal to show up on the Canadian site.
Been looking for a replacement for my d430 and have been considering the adamo or e4200/4300.
In some cases, the prices of these models are up to 80% more expensive in canada than in the US. What gives? I expect to pay a bit of a premium in Canada but this is rediculous.
Does anyone have any clue why this would be the case or does it just suck to be canadian sometimes?
Is it possible to get this upgrade in Canada? The sales reps I spoke to said no but I read on another thread that someone else managed to get it... is it just a matter of insisting?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a vaio laptop at a reasonable price, rather I would prefer that came from Europe (depends on my qwerty keyboard UK or the U.S.). The main requirements are mainly the ownership of the processor family p9XXX and carbon-fiber casing with a silver color.
It would be good if it came from a series of upward and z690 up the Z31.
What happened the Vaio TZ in Canada. For the longest time I never say it, then it appeared for a couple of days and now its gone again. I kind of prefer it over the TT.
Did anyone else notice the price jump for the only Vaio TT model offered in Canada. I remember it being 1999.99 before but now its jumped up to 2299.99? I swear the specs didn't change, at least not $300 worth?
Do you think Sony will refresh some of their Vaio notebook computers before Fall 2009?
The only place I found it was on sonystyle.ca.

View 6 Replies View RelatedWill I really see a difference with 1066 and 1333?
Dell replaced my 4GB of 1333 with 8GB of 1066 and I am getting tired of going back and forth and them not getting their ish together.
Can anyone tell me the difference between the N0074509 and N0074511.I found these laptops on the dutch Dell website.
They have the same specs, but the N0074509 is €100,00 cheaper. Please can anyone explain this to me?
I recently got an XPS 1640 as a replacement for my M1530 and in the order details, it says the processor is a P9600 but when i run a dxdiag on my laptop,
it says my processor is a T9600. Are they the same thing?
I just got my new laptop and the invoice says that it's a T7600. When I look into the system properties it show a 2.33 Ghz T7600.
But when I go into my BIOS, it has an adjustment to overclock my processor. I overclocked it to 2.83 Ghz and according to my I8KFangui and my system properties it is showing it running @ 2.83 Ghz.
So does this mean that I actually have the T7600G, or does it mean that I have the T7600 an I am going to screw it up by overclocking it!
I see there are options for Wireless Card choice, like Dell Wireless™ 1510 802.11a/g/n Draft Mini Card, Intel® WiFi Link 5100 802.11a/g/n Draft Mini Card, Intel® WiFi Link 5300 802.11a/g/n Draft Mini Card. So what's the main difference?

I know this question has a rather obvious answer, however I was wondering what kind of games can the ATI 3670 - 512MB graphics card handle?
I was hoping to get the 4670 card however the only option available to me from the Dell websites in the countries near me only have the 3670 listed
While reviewing my processed order I saw these two choices for the dvd drive..
the 8X slot load super Multi (DL DVD+/-R Drive + RAM Support) and
the CD/DVD writer (DVD+/-RW) + Roxio Creator 10
what is the difference between the two? I was able to select the default which was the 8x slot load super multi. I want to both read AND write CD AND DVD and is it also possible to re-write to a DVD RW with the default 8x slot load super multi drive?
I just got confused with the +/-RW, when you mouse-over the 8x slot load super multi it says that it is a DVD +/-RW but in the tick-box selection it is only DVD+/-R
I browsed through both dell.com and dell small business and I was wondering what was the difference? Am I not allowed to order from dell small business if I'm not a business? Also which ones tend to have better deals if their inventory is same/similar?
