Dell Vostro 3450 :: ZTE AC2737 (Data Card ) Is Not Detecting While Trying To Install In Win 7 32 Bit
Jul 30, 2013
ZTE AC2737 (Data Card ) is not detecting while trying to install in Win 7 32 Bit. Getting error "ZTE AC2737 (Data Card ) timeout when searching new device, you need install driver manually". But same device is working on other laptops.
I had to format my laptop Vostro 3450 but I cannot get which drivers I have to install to visualize screen icons when a function key is pressed. The keys are working, so if I press Fn+F2 i can switch on-off my wireless connection but before formatting a spash icon was appearing on the screen and now is not.
I bought a dell v3450 last year. Everything works fine for about 1 month. After that an error occured.Whenever I play a random game with High-Performance graphic card (AMD Radeon HD 6630M), after several minutes, it crash and the atikmpag.sys (116) appear. I have to turn off my computer by hold the power button. If i switch to Power-Saving card, nothing happen. But I can run any program with high level graphic detail. Below is the image of the BSOD that I captured.
On my Vostro 3450, in the Device Manager, the Bluetooth Peripheral Device status says "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) There is no driver selected for the device information set or element. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver." On clicking Update Driver I get the response that driver not found.

I'm trying ubuntu from USB (also tried linux Mint) but I can't boot from the USB, I always get "operating system not found" error.
I tried booting with F12 and choosing USB, tried to change boot order in bios and set USB 1st but nothing works. What else can I do ? The usb is bootable so the problem is with the laptop/bios.
I am using vostro 3450. Today I got a problem. Suddenly the flash light my webcam is stop working. But the webcam is still running. What can i do for it?
I have a question regarding my Dell Vostro 1000's battery.
To start off, I did the recharge and discharge method and after that, when I disconnected the AC-Power, it only shows the "Total Battery Charge 100%" but the primary, it doesn't say anything. Plus, when it was unplugged, it stays at 100%. Few minutes later, it will drop to 7% and the Battery LED will flash orange to tell me that the battery is low.
And my Battery health is good, but why is Windows 7 not detecting the battery charge properly??
My Dell Vostro 3450 (windows 7) had been running slowly for a while and after a virus scan didn't work, I decided to reinstall my operating system. I used the OS reinstall disk that came with the computer and that seemed to work pretty well. However, when it came time to install the drivers, I hit a roadblock. I put in the drivers disk and tried to go through the list of what drivers to install first (DSS, then chipset, etc...) but each time I installed something, it didn't seem to do anything-- I would go through the whole process for each one, but the little check mark wouldn't appear next to it in the "My System" list.... See below:
My computer can't connect to the internet either by ethernet or wifi, and can only input info through the cd drive.
I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 15 that came with the partitioned data recovery feature. I immediately created 2 recovery disks. Yesterday, I sectioned my active hard drive so that I could have, in effect, 2 hard drives. The newly partitionedsection of the hard drive is naturally blank and I would like to install my data recovery or disk recovery information on it.
We were using Vostro 1710's for a long time but now all that we can get is the 1720. When we are downgrading from Vista to XP everything goes smooth until we do the Media Card Driver.
Once we do that the OS starts getting buggy and puts up a BSOD. Has anyone else had this happen to them? If we disable to Media Card Reader in the bios the problem goes away.
The driver that we are using is from dell and should work fine.
I want to upgrade the DELL vostro 1700 video card (8600M GT). I was thinking for a GeForce Go 7950 GTX (possibly SLI) or a 8800 GTX (again, possibly SLI). Perhaps evena Quadro FX 3500M could be suitable (if there are modifications of drivers in order to play with games).
My Dell Vostro 1500 has been behaving strangely. I have a problem which occurs sometime when I start it up.
When booting, the monitor does not turn on and it does not complete the start up (I can tell by the hard disk not being read). However, if I press the area to the right of the "Power" button (above the keys F8-F12, Num lk, Print Scrn, etc), the monitor turns on and it proceeds to boot. However, when windows starts, it suddenly gives a blue screen and says "Hardware Malfunction". I have no option but to shut down. If I try running diagnostics, everything shows it is running fine. I can also run Windows "Safe Mode".
I figured that if I press the area to the right of the "Power" button WHILE turning on the computer, it starts up normally. After that, it gives me no trouble at all.
I thought I was fine, until another problem came up. This time, when I start up, the monitor shows up as a white screen, but it seems to boot normally. I can even shut down with Alt+F4. I can run diagnostics and all, but I only get a white screen. Sometimes, I get a combination of this and the above problem.
After this problem, I shook my computer a bit, and managed to get it to start normally. I haven't shut it down (or hibernated it) as yet.
Can anyone suggest what I can do with my computer? I am afraid the problem might get worse. Should I have a replacement for my video card or video RAM ready?
I have a Dell Vostro 1015 Laptop and the graphics card is not working for me. I know it has a built-in graphics card and there is nothing i can do about that but is there any type of external add-on type of thing for a graphics card ? For example, a supplementary graphics card that is plugged in through USB or another input.
Can integrated graphics card be changed? I heard that it can be disabled by something called pgc-i port or something like that. is this possible with my dell laptop vostro 1540?
I just bought a Dell Vostro 3400, and i am having a nightmare with this Fingerprint Reader. I tried installing the Digital Persona Fingerprint Reader [URL] .... and it worked, but the program kept telling me that there was no Fingerprint reader detected. Then i tried to uninstall and reinstall the program, but when I did, the program said that a previous version was not found to update, so it couldn't be installed. I don't have a recovery CD either.
i have a dell inspiron 9300 with xp. i bought it several years ago. it got a virus maybe a year ago and i reinstalled windows with a disk i got from dell in the mail. the only thing that was installed though was the operating system. i couldn't hear any sound, usb, cd/dvd drive wouldn't work, etc. i played around with some of the disks from dell but i couldn't figure it out. i put the noteback down and used my other computer for the past year. i want to get it running though. how do i install these things? i also cant find those disks so if its possible to do it without them that would be ideal...
I tried but there is a small gap so I had to stick with the thermal pad. I'm not sure whether AS5 would do a better job of cooling considering the design. I'm just wondering if anyone was successful in eliminating the gap and noticed improved cooling.
I bought a Intel Wireless Wifi Link 4965AGN Pci-express card because my laptop didn't had a WIFI card.
Now i would like to connect the cable but I'm not exactly sure of the connection. I read the instruction on the Lenovo site, which indicated to connect grey cable to MAIN or TR1, black cable to AUX or TR2 and white cable to R0.
But on the Intel card, it is only indicated 1, 2 or 3. I look on Intel site but didn't find the exact information.
