Aug 15, 2014I recently installed windows 7 64 bit on my new HP pavilion p045tx notebook but there are no drivers for the inbuilt broadcom wifi adapter which was working fine in windows 8.1 , so there is any way to get the drivers as it is not available on the product support page.
the wlan adapter is BCM43142 802.11 b/g/n.(according to windows 8.1 driver details)

HP OS/Software :: Pavilion 15-n248sa Drivers Missing (windows 7)
Apr 21, 2014Recently purchased a HP Pavilion 15-n248sa. It came with windows8, which I've done a fresh install to windows 7 (formatting HDD etc).
Managed to get some of the drivers for this from the HP or intel site. But there seems to be no source of two other drivers that are still to be installed. The USB 2.0 drivers (no usb ports will work). And also the ethernet drivers.
I'm VERY disappointed with the support HP has provided towards this laptop for windows 7, even though it's clearly stated it is ready to run it. Genuinely shocked that all the driver support on the page for this laptop includes only 1/3 of the required drivers for this system!
I've seen the solution of looking up the motherboard within the laptop, and then looking up drivers for laptops using that model, but I'm not quite to sure of where to look that up.

Jan 17, 2015I experienced missing several DLL-files, and often got error messages about those. I re-installed Windows 7 64 bit, as I didn't want to mess with those DLLs missing.
After that re-installing, I couldn't get internet-connection to my router. Luckily I have a 10+ year old stationary, where I after some time found the driver I needed, so that works now.
But now it seems there's several other drivers missing/not been installed.

HP Pavilion DV6-3250us Networking :: Windows 7 64Bit - WLAN Won't Turn On
Jun 1, 2014Wireless won't turn on; wired connection is fine. HP Wireless Asst says the wireless is turned of by the keyboard. Light is steady orange & will not turn on.
If I power down & remove the battery, I can get a blue light when I turn the PC back on. But then, the PC wants to update the driver. When it does that, the problem returns.

Nov 29, 2014I have a Pavilion G6 1247sa A3S29EA#ABU laptop. I had a problem with it and downloaded Windows 7 sp1. All went well untill I attempted to connect to internet. There are some drivers missing. I have attempted to locate them but any that I thought were relevant have proved to be of no use (did not cure problem). There is a screen shot of device manager. There are no item id's with most of the hardware items with drivers missing as the ID's are not showing up. The only info. I have is the wifi board which is a Broadcom BCM 94313 HMGB (this info. taken from the back of the computer). The device called 'BCM20702A0' is the wifi (I presume) as it disappears and reappears from the device manager screen when wifi button (F12) is toggled. Under General for all the devices it states : The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28).

Aug 20, 2014I just bought "HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC p000su-j2t31ea", installed windows 8.1, downloaded drivers and it seems like it works perfectly but wifi.
When I tried to install this Broadcom WLAN driver [URL]... its loading like on the half way on its instalation and drops then a message appears and asks me if the program worked well.
Ive tried to install that driver under Safe Mode and it loaded the installation, but when it was installing some error came out saying that the installation cant continue, because update.cpp 1205 is not found or something.I also tried to find the driver from broadcom's site, but couldnt find it. And now i can use e-net only via cable.

Oct 30, 2013I recently had my hard drive crash so I just replaced it. I used the Windows 7 64bit disk for my OS and loaded the missing drivers to get it functional. I am missing key HP programs for everything else ie: Beats, fingerprint scanner, top row keyboard controls (screen dimmer, volume). The only HP programs I could find are HP Security Assistant and HP Simple pass. Simple pass still says it cannot locate the scanner.

Oct 14, 2012yesterday my E330 arrived with no operating system installed. After the Windows 7 Ultimate installation was finished I was already disappounted, because no driver was detected. So I had to manually download all drivers from the slow lenovo site. After I installed all drivers (also BIOS updates and Win updates) the Wlan wasnt working. Tried both, the realtek and the broadcom driver, none of them is working. Can't conntact the support because the page won't load. After a few hours of trying to fix the problem I dont know what to do anymore.

Jan 20, 2009I just got my Seagate Momentus 7200.3 320GB hard drive today. I don't have any external cases I could use to do a backup image and I wanted to do a clean install anyway since I haven't done one to this system since I bought it.
I've tried using Dell's driver disc that came with the system but it's out of date.
The Web site has been a mess as well. Selecting through the service tag Dell is offering drivers for hardware that was never part of this machine and hardware that is apart of it isn't listed unless I look at all D630 drivers.
