HP OS/Software :: Pavilion 15-n248sa Drivers Missing (windows 7)

Recently purchased a HP Pavilion 15-n248sa. It came with windows8, which I've done a fresh install to windows 7 (formatting HDD etc).
Managed to get some of the drivers for this from the HP or intel site. But there seems to be no source of two other drivers that are still to be installed. The USB 2.0 drivers (no usb ports will work). And also the ethernet drivers.
I'm VERY disappointed with the support HP has provided towards this laptop for windows 7, even though it's clearly stated it is ready to run it. Genuinely shocked that all the driver support on the page for this laptop includes only 1/3 of the required drivers for this system!
I've seen the solution of looking up the motherboard within the laptop, and then looking up drivers for laptops using that model, but I'm not quite to sure of where to look that up.

i bought an hp pavilion 15-n096sa notebook and i want to install windows 7 on it . the problem is that i cant find any windows 7 drivers for this notebook . Is it possible to install windows 7 on this notebook ? And if it is then where can i find the drivers that i need ?

I experienced missing several DLL-files, and often got error messages about those. I re-installed Windows 7 64 bit, as I didn't want to mess with those DLLs missing.
After that re-installing, I couldn't get internet-connection to my router. Luckily I have a 10+ year old stationary, where I after some time found the driver I needed, so that works now.
But now it seems there's several other drivers missing/not been installed.
Missing drivers:
Network Controller;
Hardware ID: PCIVEN_8086&DEV_008B&SUBSYS_53158086&REV_34
SM Bus Controller;
Hardware ID: PCIVEN_8086&DEV_1C22&SUBSYS_1659103C&REV_05

I have 4 USB-ports, but only one will work, the others don't respond, and I need all four running at the same time. Plus I'd like to have everything in order after I had to re-install Win 7.

I recently had my hard drive crash so I just replaced it. I used the Windows 7 64bit disk for my OS and loaded the missing drivers to get it functional. I am missing key HP programs for everything else ie: Beats, fingerprint scanner, top row keyboard controls (screen dimmer, volume). The only HP programs I could find are HP Security Assistant and HP Simple pass. Simple pass still says it cannot locate the scanner.

I bought a HP laptop - pavilion 17-f008sr Energy star (G7Y08EA). There was a Windows 8 operating system installed. To work on that laptop, I had installed a Windows 7 OS (64bit).
Than I started a system, I saw a problem with my USB in Device Manager (universal serial bus usb controller and Sm bus controller). As a result USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 didn't work. I spent a lot of time to find different drivers to try solve that problem, but I still have it. Intel usb drivers and and much similary drivers not working with my laptop or did not installing because I have not right system for much of drivers that I found.

I have successfully downgraded win8 to win 7. System is working and all the major drivers are installed. There are still some question marks at Device Manager.
- Bluetooth adapter
- Ethernet adapter
- PCI-device
- SM Bus Controller
Where can I find drivers for these?

I downgraded my 13T-3000 from Windows 8 to Windows 7 via an image on a bootable USB thumb drive. However, when Windows 7 installed many of the drivers were not installed, including the NIC and the USB drivers. As a result, I can not access the internet or load any missing drivers via the USB port.how to get Windows 7 up and running?

I have a Pavilion G6 1247sa A3S29EA#ABU laptop. I had a problem with it and downloaded Windows 7 sp1 primium home addition.
There are some drivers missing.
There is a screen shot of device manager. There are no item id's with most of the hardware items with drivers missing as the ID's are not showing up.

I had to re-install Windows after a hacker locked my system. I hadn't had the unit long, so didn't lose tons of important data or files. But, I hadn't had time to really get to know my system either....so now I have the new issue of trying to determine what all the hardware is that is not recognized. I thought I would come to hp.com, find my drivers, download and be DONE.

I have an HP Pavilion dv5-1183cl that has been upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate (32bit) and I have some issues.I have four errors showing up in my device manager, three Base System Device and one Unknown Device, and I don't know what they are or where to get the drivers (since I don't know what they are). Additionally, the battery will not charge (there does not appear to be anything wrong with it physically). I am wondering if the below errors are related to the battery issue. I have a windows 8.1 64 bit HP Pavilion G7 2270us. I have had nothing but trouble with the Bluetooth since the 8.1 update. I used to be able to reinstall the driver and get it working again, however lately nothing works. I have installed sp59632, 58515, 64041, 58944, and 64825 and none are working. My computer does not even show the option to turn the bluetooth on from the pc settings menu. I am adding some pictures to show you what my computer shows in device management and troubleshooter to see .....

I have been downgrading my friends computer from Windows 8 to Windows 7 and used driver links from here and everything has worked great so far!! There is only one issue left. I have no driver for SM Bus Controller.
Everything else in device manager is good except for this.

I've received a used HP Pavilion G6 - 1C40CA.
There was a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium- 64bit.
After searching around online, got a hint of what to do.
Made it to the Device Manager, these are missing or non existant (small yellow exclamation triangle):
Ethernet Controller (Hardware ID: PCI/VEN_10EC&DEV_8136)
Network Controller (Hareware ID: PCI/VEN_14E4&DEV_4727)
PCI Device (Hareware ID: PCI/VEN_10EC&DEV_5209)
SM Bus Controller (Hardware ID: PCI/VEN_1022&DEV_780B)
Along with finding the proper downloads, I'm not sure in which order I should be installing them (if there is a specific order at all), and if I need to reboot every time I install something new.

We have purchased an HP Pavilion G6 2300st to our parents with Windows 8 installed. Unfortunately, they are having diffuculties to use Windows 8. So I thought that we need to downgrade to the windows 7.
I tried to install Windows 7 last night and I wasn't be able to do so because of Legacy Support and UEFI etc.
After that, little search on the web and I think I will be able to install windows 7 now. However, when I was searching on the web I realized there are many people have the same problem includign drivers problems. Then I find out that G6 2300st does not have W7 drivers.
I found someone here downgrade the G6-2306el to W7 in link. [URL] ......
Now here is the question; Can I use the same drivers that stated in those posts?

I have HP Pavilion G6-2301ax recently i upgraded from windows 8 to windows 8.1 and there is no proper drivers for graphics and Wi-Fi.So can you update the drivers which is fully supported.The games never used to lag in windows 8 but it is stuttering in windows 8.1.
