HP 255 G2 PC Networking :: Ethernet Driver Not Working
Jun 24, 2014
i have a HP 255 G2 Notebook PC that i bought last year. The pc came with windows 8 installed so when i tried to install windows 7 64 bit i noticed the hard drive was GPG encrypted so i had to open the laptop and take out the hdd to reformat it with another computer. That went well. I installed windows 7 but i noticed the ony driver that wont work is the Network Controller driver. I have internet in the computer through a flash usb but now i need to use my wireless internet instead. So i downloaded every driver from my laptop but it wont work so i wonder if the network card is broken. In every network card i've seen on laptops there are to cables connecting the card to the motherboard. One white cable and on black cable but this laptop has only a black cable.
Laptop Model: HP 255 G2 Notebook PC
Network controller IDs:
More than 4 weeks I've been looking for Ethernet controller card in the laptop HP-530 for the Windows Vista Home 64-bit not this for the 32 bit, this does not work ....
I can not find the driver ethernet and wi-fi for my pavilion g6, I remember that for before I formated the computer it was Realtek, but now as I install it doesn't work.
I accidentally deleted my Ethernet control driver and now I can't get wifi. I tried looking for drivers on the internet but i cant seem to find the right one.
hp mini 110-3011 ee under device manager ethernet controller is yellow marked my .I had reformated the note book with win 7 ultimate where ?I will get the driver for it
I have a new Compaq CQ58-353EM laptop. It came with preinstalled system (Windows 8). Afterwards I installed Windows and HP updates.
The problem I have is with the Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller (ethernet). In the device manager it is shown with a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark. In the device state it is stated: Your computer's system firmware does not include enough information to properly configure and use this device. To use this device, contact your computer manufacturer to obtain a firmware or BIOS update. (Code 35).
Laptop has all system and hp updates installed.
I tried the following to resolve the problem: - 2 different bios versions (F.26 and F.25). - several add/remove/reinstall of the Realtek drivers - 2 different versions of Realtek drivers: 8.3.730.2012 and 8.20.815.2013 (from Realtek site).
I just bought hp 14-d037tu, I am using win 7 64bit, i downloaded all the driver from the hp support site, but there is one problem with the wlan driver.
i just bought hp 14-d037tu, i am using win 7 64bit, i downloaded all the driver from the hp support site, but there is one problem with the wlan driver. here my hardware id's :
Recently i bought the HP 15-g009ax. I installed the driver which are specified in the fourm because there is no drivers in the HP site. i facing the problem with bluetooth. After I install the bluetooth drivers it not working. I am using windows 8.1
I am missing the network driver as well and have tried installing it many times but still no luck. I have an HP Pavilion DV7 - 2110sa Laptop running Windows Vista.
I have the Pavilion G6 2342dx running Windows 8. Yesterday, I used HP's support assistant to perform a few recommended driver updates. Among the things updated was the Qualcomm Atheros Wifi device driver and the HP wireless button driver. Wifi device installed was 10...222, from 10....212.
After the update, my laptop is unable to detect any wifi networks. It just shows "No networks found." I also noticed that the wifi button light (on F12) is always white whether or not I activate flight mode or not. I get an on-screen message alright about airplane mode status changing. However, it does not appear to be actually turning on/off the wifi because from the sidebar, it looks like wifi is on but with the "No networks found" message persisting. Also, the wifi icon on the status bar remains grayed out with an red x on it.
I have tried disabling and enabling the adaptor with no success. I have tried downloading and reinstalling the driver (10...212) with no luck. I even tried disabling, uninstalling and reinstalling the device from device manager. System restore fails everytime I try it. Interestingly, the latest driver on HP support website is the 212, no mention of the 222 driver.
I just bought "HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC p000su-j2t31ea", installed windows 8.1, downloaded drivers and it seems like it works perfectly but wifi.
When I tried to install this Broadcom WLAN driver [URL]... its loading like on the half way on its instalation and drops then a message appears and asks me if the program worked well.
Ive tried to install that driver under Safe Mode and it loaded the installation, but when it was installing some error came out saying that the installation cant continue, because update.cpp 1205 is not found or something.I also tried to find the driver from broadcom's site, but couldnt find it. And now i can use e-net only via cable.
I have a hp mini 210-2145. It had windows 7 home edition 32bit on it but I formatted it and put windows 7 professional 64 bit on. I cant get the wifi to work. I finally got the regular plug in to work but still no wifi. I have went to the driver site and installed both chip sets. and downloaded a bunch of the internet drivers listed on the network drivers list. After installing a bunch of them i noticed the system scan. It detected that i had a 802.11b/g/n WLAN. Thats the irst one on the site so i redownloaded and instaled it and it still isnt working. In the device manager it shows the yellow exclamation and just says ethernet controller.
When I connect ethernet cable to my Envy 15 j150us laptop the upper one of two led indicators which is link indicator never lights up, however second led that is activity indicator is blinking and internet connection works fine.
Along with finding the proper downloads, I'm not sure in which order I should be installing them (if there is a specific order at all), and if I need to reboot every time I install something new.
I want to stop using my wireless connection on my laptop and plug an ethernet lead in.
But when I plug this lead in my laptop just stays connected to to my wireless network. I tried disabling the Wireless on my computer then putting the lead in but still it wont attempt to connect to the internet with the ethernet lead in. What driver do I need to download so it will recognize the lead is in the laptop and attempt to connect to the internet?
I got a Dv9500 although the lid says its a Pavillion DV9000 and I am dying for the ethernet driver and the OHCI Compliant IEEE 1395 host controller drivers.
I recently did a clean install from Vista 64 to Windows 7 64... I was upgrading my drivers today but came across a problem... When I install the newest driver (here) for my Realtek Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC port, my download speed (from speedtest.net) drops from 20-25,000 Mbs to 5,000 Mbs
The newest driver is 7.4.713.2009... The one which installed when I loaded up the HP / Windows 7 discs was version 7.2.1127.2008, so when I saw my speed drop so much I rolled back to this driver... So what am I missing here? Why is the newer driver causing the speed to drop so much?
Has anyone been able to get their Ethernet Controller to work on the Studio 17? I have the wireless working, but the Ethernet Controller will not load any drivers, automatic or manual. I have searched Intel's site and downloaded every 64 bit driver from Dell's Studio 17 download page.
I haven't been able to connect to LAN (Ethernet) connections since I acquired this laptop, I have installed the correct drivers and tried with different OS but none of them have been a success.
I tried in different Ethernet connections (different houses too) but I still get no internet on my laptop, it recognizes that there's something connected but no internet at all. Since then I have been using a Wireless Router always...
