HP 14 d037TU drivers are not working for WIN7 64bit as below. I've try all possible way to install the WIN7 64bit drive but no luck. I guess the drive has not been certified for WIN7 64bit. HP, this doesn't accepted as HP is one of the famous laptop brand with buggy and uncomplete product in the market.
After windows 7/64 install, the drivers for USB controllers are not installed. I can't found USB drivers at hp.com... How and where can I get the drivers?
I recently installed windows 7 64 bit on my new HP pavilion p045tx notebook but there are no drivers for the inbuilt broadcom wifi adapter which was working fine in windows 8.1 , so there is any way to get the drivers as it is not available on the product support page.
the wlan adapter is BCM43142 802.11 b/g/n.(according to windows 8.1 driver details)
I'm not able to install Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver. During Installation a message pops up saying, "The setup failed to install one or more drivers." I downloaded the latest version of the above software but still didn't work. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
I purchased yesterday the HP 450 i3-4000M and after installing alla the necessary it seems that one device is not activated but is staed as "unknown device".
After trying to find ou the identity of this device i found out the code name : ACPI/HPQ6007
I am trying to find the drivers for this device but it seems they are nowhere to be found..
After a recovery without the recovery disks and without the recovery partition I could install most of the drivers, but I can't find, or I'd say that there are some that I don't know yet. These are the descriptions that appear in Device Manager plus the Hardware IDS
got the vaio control centre showing a few things but really havent got some stuff working properly, luckily with 7 alot of stuff works out of the box.
I downloaded the ati driver from ati but it doesnt show any control centre, also installed synaptics but it asks if i want to reinstall everytime i restart, power management seems to work.
mainly the problems are none of the fn things work and the 5 buttons/settings/mode dont work, I would like them to work, would also like some of the cool functions that were on the screen with vista when i first got it.
I have Windows Vista 64bit on my Acer Aspire 7520-5311, I thought I had upgraded all my drivers, but I NEVER use my dvdrom drive...
Well I have ordered a dvd that I really need to use on my computer and it won't work at all... I looked in Device Manager and it shows "HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20N ATA DEVICE" and "YPY EN81IZS SCSI CdRom Device" and they both say "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be currupted or missing."
I went to the Acer Europe website for 7520 [url] and I dont see DVDROM drivers under the 64bit column.
I have an HP Pavilion dv5-1183cl that has been upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate (32bit) and I have some issues.I have four errors showing up in my device manager, three Base System Device and one Unknown Device, and I don't know what they are or where to get the drivers (since I don't know what they are). Additionally, the battery will not charge (there does not appear to be anything wrong with it physically). I am wondering if the below errors are related to the battery issue. Below are the hardware IDs for each error entry.
Base System Device (PCI bus 6, device 0, function 1): PCIVEN_197B&DEV_2382&SUBSYS_3603103C&REV_00PCIVEN_197B&DEV_2382 &SUBSYS_3603103CPCIVEN_197B&DEV_2382&CC_088000PCIVEN_197B&DEV_2382&CC_0880
just recently installed win7 x86 and everything seems to be working. I have one remaining unknown device under USB controllers and i am trying to figure out what it belongs to. my webcam works (although i think its listed as usb input device), and parser device, i/o device and texas mem stick have all been installed. i have also noticed that my fingerprint reader says that it is not connected when im first booting into windows although it works properly. could this unknown device have something to do with the reader?
I am now reinstalling my laptop (HP Pavilion 14-v044tx Notebook PC) with new Windows 8.1 x64, where most of the drivers are installed, I am left clueless with these two.
I have installed Windows 7 Pro on my HP Envy 17-j188ez and after installing the drivers from the HP page I have still one unknown and one device which cannot start in the device manager:
I am looking for a driver to suit an "unknown device" that is being reported by the Device Manager. The properties of the device are that the driver is not installed (Code 28) Details of the device are that it is located on PCI bus, the value is ACPIHPQ6007 and the resource type is IRQ setting 0x00000017(23).
When I open a new window on my Dell Precision M6600 Windows 7 64 bit professional Laptop, that window will randomly have an "always on top" attribute. The problem does not seem to be related to any specific application.
I have just successfully installed 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium on my SR41M, along with some 64-bit sony drivers I managed to find...
However, in my device manager I am left with a single device unaccounted for, listed merely as "Base System Device". I have absolutely no idea what it is.
what driver I might need to install to resolve this..?
I installed Windows 8 x64 recently and installed all the drivers. I was pretty sure that all the devices were installed.I was having a hardware power management problem before installing Windows 8 that I was hoping was a software issue that reinstalling the OS would fix. Turns out it wasn't software, but had to have the main board replaced under warranty. Even after the main board replacement, I was still pretty sure I saw all the device drivers were installed under device manager.
I'm noticing an "unknown device" listed that doesn't have a driver installed. I know often these can be the TPM or other system device, but I have the TPM installed as well as the chipset software and power management driver. But there is still this unknown device. The only clue I have as to what the device could be is under details, the "hardware ids" property value is "rootsscbfs_storlib_bus3". A Google search brings up nothing for this string. "STORLIB" makes it seem like it has something to do with storage, but I have the Intel RST driver (11.7 from Intel) as well as the card reader driver installed. I can confirm the card reader is functioning fine too.
I have an SL510 thinkpad and I have just installed windows 7 professional 64x. I noticed my wifi not working and in Device Manager there are a number of 'Unknown Devices' I have 3 'Base System Device' alerts, a 'Network Controller' alert and an Unknown Device....
