I got a HP 650 Notebook PC and sometimes my keyboard don't works . When are not working , i press all keys and it's start's to work .I need a new keyboard? i am using Windows 8.1 .The they that are not working sometimes are Tab Key , T , Y , F3 , F6 , F10 and Home . I did Hard Reset and nothing same thing.

I have two problems.
1. My Apple wireless keyboard does not work.
2. My wireless keyboard does not work when I plug it into my macbook.
I'd really like a SSD drive as I need speed over storage. So I'm wondering if it possible to install a SSD drive in a Vaio SR laptop. What do I do about drivers?
I have my choices down between a Lenovo X301 with a SSD and a Vaio SR210 without a SSD. I like the looks of the Vaio better, but I'm willing to pay for a SSD premium.
If anyone has had any success installing a SSD in a Vaio laptop(where SSD's are not an option) I'd love to hear about it?
What is the creme de la creme in Sony notebooks that are gaming capable? Gaming for me are Strat games, Starcraft 2, maybe Crysis....
I want something solid, and at least midrange with respect to gaming. I don't care how much it costs.
I haven't checked Sony in a long long time and F series, CW, etc are confusing and I need to get up to speed quickly. Quality is paramount.

I have downloaded and installed all the latest drivers to date from HP website: [URL] ....
I have already read some forum posts and did some steps like:
1: install latest drivers for Ralink bluetooth device
2: Uninstall the Ralink bluetooth device
3: Disabled Ralink bluetooth device from device manager
But nothing worked for me.
When i open my Dell XPS 12 and turn it on the physical keyboard not the touch screen keyboard does not work all it does is make a clicking sound im not sure why.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just recieved my dv8t quad laptop today. However, for some odd reason, the keyboard does not work. It is recognized by Windows, but pressing keys does nothing. You cannot even launch the BIOS with the keyboard. The touchpad does work, but the entire keyboard does work. The HP Quick Smart buttons (those lit buttons on top of the keyboard) do work, but the actual keyboard does not.

I just got my new HDX16 and for the first couple of minutes the backspace, enter, and number lock keys didn't work. But after a couple of minutes they work. They have been working since. I have shutdown and rebooted a couple of times and they are still working.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI had a motherboard put in not long after I got it in 2007. Then the screen started going blue and saying it was dumping files. If anything is plugged into the USB ports it will not boot right and starts a constant beep. Lately it has been freezing up and the keyboard will not always work. Now when I try to turn it on nothing comes up on the screen while the bluetooth light comes on and the lights on the keyboard flash once. I have called tech numerous times and with it being out of warranty they want to charge $60 just for a phone diagnosis when it won't even do anything.

I mean the F-function do work with fn, but when I just click F4 it should close the programe, or F7 it should go to airmode, or f9 with should close just the monitor. But these things do not happen. View 1 Replies View RelatedI've bene playing a game (tf2) on my laptop, and 3 times now its turned off, just straight up turned off, and so I turned it back on, and then the keyboard didn't work no matter what I did.
So I called dell and they said some sort of static built up in the keyboard, and to take out battery, and wall plug, and hold power for 15 seconds, and then turn comp on. I did that and it restored my keyboard to full use.
But now twice since then my comp has shut down, and I've had to use that technique to restore it...
This laptop is only 2 weeks old, ? Why is it having problems a mere 2 weeks after I got it.
I mean I'm not even typeing fast enough to make a static charge, in game you only use a couple buttons. Also i'm on tile floors, no carpet at all, I use my laptop on a table although it does get hot.
just wondering if anyone has tried this-- I know the studio just came out, but it looks like the keyboard is the same size as the xps 1330-- and on the 1330, the keyboard just pops out.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy apple had Mac and XP installed on it. My friend suggested me to install Windows 7 on it. And I thought it was a good idea. So I started my XP and runned it up. When win7 was completely installed everything seemed to work. Except that a few buttons on my keyboard don't work anymore now. The button for throwing out CD's and DVD's don't work anymore. And my 'Fn' button doesn't work anymore. Does anybody else have the same problem as me, or does someone know how to fix this. Because I also can't change the brightness. Which is set to maximum at the moment.
View 10 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I boot up my Dell XPS 12 laptop the keyboard doesn't work correctly. Certain keys don't type letters, sorta like the CTRL key or Windows key is stuck down. I have tried a lot of different things (pressing various keys, checking system logs, check keyboard status, etc.) and the only thing that works is to reboot the laptop. Most of the time this fixes the problem, but it is annoying to have to reboot when this happens. I have upgraded the drivers to the latest versions available on the Dell website.

Particullary unhandy as I use some of these numbers for my password. Problem started 7/15/14. Worked as expected in the AM but now do not register this PM. The On Screen entry method works but not the keyboard! All other keyboard keys seem to work as expected. No error messages and no recent changes made to this Chromebook 14.

In windows mobility center, the 'turn on' button for the touch pad is grayed out. Is it possible that the keyboard/touch pad connections are not plugged in tightly? i don't want to to open up the laptop unless that is a good option...
I pressed the power button and the light came up for about 5 seconds. Then it's gone. Nothing came up on the screen. Cpu fan did not work and keyboard light did not turn on. I tried holding the power button for seconds. I tried turning on with ac adaptor only. I tried taking the RAM out and then turned it on. Nothing works...
I am a Thai student studying in Okinawa, Japan. So now I am just so nervous because I wont have a computer to work on.
Whenever i'm using the key board, I can't use my mousepad at the same time. For example: if i'm holding the space bar, my mouse jams and no matter what i'm doing to the mouse pad, I can't move the mouse for as long as I hold a button. This presents major problems for gaming etcetera. I am using A dell N5050.

When I put my switch 10 to sleep, and then re-open it, the keyboard is not working anymore, like it has problem recharging drivers. Same issue happens sometime when I use it in tablet mode and then reconnect the dock to it, I've a very hard time trying to make the keyboard and touchpad working again. The fact is that the usb port on the dock doesn't seem to have any problem at all, only the touchpad and the keyboad. I can't figure out if that's a software or an hardware problem.
