HP DV6 Audio :: Pairing Laptop With Bose Soundlink Mini Bluetooth Speaker?
Jan 3, 2014
I want to pair my HP dv6 with a Bose Soundlink Mini bluetooth speaker. I can't ... very frustrating. I paired the small Bose speaker to my phone very easily. BUT, to my laptop ..
The left side speaker (Only the left side) of my laptop is working intermetently. Sometimes it's working, sometimes not. When I tried to tap hard the laptop near the left speaker, sometimes it work but a crackling sound or not clear sound is coming. Should I replace the speaker or a wire inside is loose?
I am using hp envy 15-j039tx core 15 windows 8.1 .. this laptop came with internal beats audio speaker . I searched through internet but i cannot find and related driver of this . What should i do to turn beats speaker On .
The right speaker in my notebook is louder then the left one is. The only way to compensate for the problem is to lower the "balance" in the sound properties for the right speaker (I have it all the way down to 70 if you can believe that!) Now my audio sounds even between the left and right speaker. I think it's ashame that seems to be the only fix for the problem. Not sure if this is a driver issue or a hardware issue.
NVidia installs audio drivers to the computer when installing the video drivers (which I still don't understand why...I thought NVidia was a graphics company?) Then I install the IDT drivers/software afterwards. HP has verified that this is correct so everything on my end is up to date...minus of course offical drivers for the 320M video card that everyone is still waiting on!
After successful pairing it gets immediately disconnected again I am using a HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC with Windows 8.1 BT driver installed is Intel Wireless Bluetooth 4.0
Would MediaTek (Ralink) Bluetooth Software Driver sp65804.exe from HP download solve the problem ?
I have a Dell E6220 laptop with BT and have difficulty pairing with my Bluetooth headset. I was able to pair the Dell E6220 with my BT mouse (Microsoft 5000 Cordless Mouse), but I cannot pair either my LG Tone Wireless Bluetooth Stereo or the Platonic BT Headset.
The devices are in paring mode, and I go under Add Bluetooth device but the Dell never sees it. I also tried with my iPhone but the Dell cannot find it. It is odd because my BT mouse is working just fine.
Is there a known problem with BT headsets and the laptop? Are there maybe some drivers that need to be installed?
after I paired with my 4 day old Aspire E 15 and then disconnecting I noticed that all my contacts were gone. I searched within the laptop and searched the internet with no luck on how to get my contacts back.
I am using a HP Pavilion dv4 Notebook PC, Product #WA683UA#ABA. There is red X next to the Speaker icon. When I hover my mouse over the Speaker icon, I see the following message, "the audio service is not running." How do I correct this issue?
Im using a dell inspiron 14r(5421); intel core15 3337u: intel Centrino 2230 wireless Bluetooth driver.
when I pair my phone (HTC Sensation) with my laptop I can only see the option to share files and transfer PIM objects. There is no option whatsoever to stream audio or to use my laptop as a headset. I had this option in my windows 7 acer laptop but that was using a Broadcom driver for Bluetooth..
My Pavilion g7 speaker will not play. It works with external speakers or headphones. One computer repair shop said the IDT driver was missing. The tech guy at the place where I purchased the PC said if the driver was missing or not working no audio would play at all even on headphones. How can I determine if the speakers are inop or just not enabled properly etc?
HP pavilion 15.6 inch screen laptop (15-e084ca), AMD Quad Core A10-5750M and 8650 Radeon graphics, 1TB hard drive, 8 MB DDR3 SDRAM, Windows 64-bit 8.1.
I have a Monster bluetooth HD Clarity micro speaker, a Philips bluetooth shoqbox and a Philips bluetooth sound shooter.
In all 3 cases, I have been able to connect the speakers and use them but the connections are unstable. The laptop automatically breaks the connection. It's happened several times. I have many different versions of this problem.
Once the speaker is disconnected ( either I manually disonnect it myself or the laptop does it on its own) it can be extremely difficult to establish a reconnection.
As of this morning I have no sound on HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook internal speakers. Plug in headphones and all speakers work, both internal and headphones. Checked all settings and device manager - all o.k. Running Windows 7.
Having issues with connecting to a Bluetooth speaker or headphones- the devices are technically paired (all icons and prompts say "connected") but the music still comes out thru the speakers. How I can get it to work- no other laptop I've had as had this problem?!
On my HP DV5-1015TX I notice that there are 2 audio out jacks in the front.
However my speakers have only connector that I plug into either one of these. This works but I am am wondering if there would be any loss of audio quality when used this way (maybe surrond sound or something)? OR is the second audio-out an extra connection to say headphones?
I have HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC. I just do not understand why my internal speakers or headphones are not working. sometimes it works and other times it don't.
My hp pavilion dv4 1415TU speakers not working but headphones are.Speakers playback devices showing independent dual headphones IDT High definition audio CODEC and no speakers icon. I have checked the disabled and disconnected devices.
I have a dv7-7270ca notebook and since a restart due to windows 8 updates I now have a red x on the speaker icon. I installed the HP driver for this model but it has an error in device manager that says:
Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)
I did run an audio test using the shut down-F2 and passed and could hear the sounds in the test.
I've been listening to a bunch of podcasts on my laptop lately and realized that the right hand side speaker is MUCH louder than my than the left speaker, in fact if I lower the balance on the right speaker to 0% and left to 100% it's not half as loud as the right at 100%. Is this normal? If not is there a fix for this?
Also when typing, if I press the Caps lock key too fast the cursor disappears and my typing is interrupted anyone know is up with that?
I am having a terrible time pairing the S9-HD with my m1530 in Vista Ultimate 64 I've gone though the adding process and put in 0000 for the passkey. However, the notebook doesn't seem to communicate with it. The headset also is telling me that it is not connected to anything.
it keeps prompting me for drivers
When I choose Show Bluetooth devices, I see the Motorola S9-HD there.
I have been experiencing several audio issues with my laptop. Firstly, my laptop stopped playing audio unless I disable then enabling the IDT HD audio CODEC. I then tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it only to find that the drivers i found weren't compatible. Then I tried the recovery manager and when I restart the notebook it encountered a problem and I lost audio and my Beats enhancement.
I have Windows 8 on my HP Pavilion dv6. I had Beats audio on it, but then my laptop was doing weird so i had to reset it to factory settings. After that, my laptop was back okay, but Beats audio was gone. My question is: how can i get Beats audio back on my laptop??
Does anyone know if its easy to add bluetooth support to a Dell Mini 10v 1011 ? I dont really want to have an external USB stick and would prefer to just pop the back off and add an internal card ??
I am having trouble using the Wireless 365 BlueTooth card. I bought it from Ebay. I installed it fine.
I downloaded the driver R226746 from Dell and that installed fine as well. But I cannot open the bluetooth settings and when I try to add any devices to computer, it just stays searching and does not find any of my devices
Just had to share my experience with HP's Bluetooth mouse they currently offer because I can barely find any information regarding their mouse, just that they offer it and the specs. I just recieved it, I've gotten about an hour or two of full use with it after an awful installtion on Windows 7. So yeah my thoughts so far, pretty nice once you get it working.
Another thing, if you have EPP discount, or Academic discounts, and some other coupon codes you can get this at a nice deal. I was able to get it for about 44$ with a retractable mouse (20$) and free shipping at that point. So I got about 81$ (including shipping) worth of stuff for 44$, almost 50% off with all the discounts I had. Not bad I would assume for a nice looking mouse.
I'm just trying to provide an informational post with this mini-review. I hope it helps some people who are looking for a BT mouse.
Installation In a couple words, pretty bad. Being bluetooth, I'd thought I'd fire up my bluetooth adapter, then just hit pair using native Windows, and let Win Update do it's thing if needed. Everything went through fine, choose no pairing code, and things installed, but things didn't work. Threw in the disc, followed instructions, no worky still. After a restart, and trying again, seemed to work....
I bought a miniDisplay Port to HDMI and 3 HDMI Cables and a HDMI splitter from seller mambate on eBay. Surprisingly it was all really good quality, the audio works well, I wish I had a surround sound system to test it on but I use optical audio for HT. So my Hanns G 28 Monitor is really the only thing I could test it on, and it works.
The Splitter comes wit a remote too which I thought was cool.
This is my MBP13 and he Hanns G
Funny side note, the MBP quicktime plays better 1080p vids on the HannsG dont know why. either way plex is the best program for videos.
