Jul 5, 2014
I have a hp mini 110-3538tu and it has been playing up in every which way and very slow so I have a USB with Windows 7 which I am trying to install over windows 7 starter but when I get to the part where I have to select the driver to be installed I can choose my USB but it say no device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, then click OK. I cannot get past here.
Actually i have on my HP notebook ( H0W28EA ) SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop. But i want install Windows 7. I put pendrive to my notebook, boot, and... error : No device driver were found. I don't have DVD/CD with drivers with my notebook.. I don't understand which drivers i must download.
I put a new hard drive in my Dell Inspiron 6000 and installed Vista. That was horrible so I reinstalled Windows XP. The Wireless was working in Vista. Now when I try to see Dell WLAN it comes up No Adapters.
i'm thinking about selling my Dell Mini 9 and i would like to know how to format my SSD and reinstall Windows XP Home so it is all fresh and new for it's new user
My laptop hp mini 110-3605tu model number is facing stuck after windows 7 installation load. It has no recovery hard drive as hard drive is fully formatted. i want to flash my bios because i know bios is corrupted. How can i flash my bios using usb drive. What is the bios manufacturer company so that i can flash my bios using non windows application ....
My Dell Vostro 3450 (windows 7) had been running slowly for a while and after a virus scan didn't work, I decided to reinstall my operating system. I used the OS reinstall disk that came with the computer and that seemed to work pretty well. However, when it came time to install the drivers, I hit a roadblock. I put in the drivers disk and tried to go through the list of what drivers to install first (DSS, then chipset, etc...) but each time I installed something, it didn't seem to do anything-- I would go through the whole process for each one, but the little check mark wouldn't appear next to it in the "My System" list.... See below:
My computer can't connect to the internet either by ethernet or wifi, and can only input info through the cd drive.
Need my WiFi drivers for my Acer Aspire 5560. I no longer have the repair disc for the Aspire, but was reciveing a lot of errors and decided to use another disc to reinstall Windows 7. Once W7 was installed I was still missing my network drivers.

I've recently get support from HP team and installed my original windows 7 home premium using my product key. Then installed updates of Wireless, Internet and Home Network, but within a short period, my laptop get stuck and no keyboard could not work at all except power on/off button. Then I installed my original windows 7 home premium and it was, I can access although I could not installed any other programs and my personal ducoment.
My laptop detials:
Note Model: HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC Model: g6-1320so
I recently my new Thinkpad T530 and I accidentally uninstalled Power Manager. I re-installed it. Now when ever I log on It says, "RUNDLL: There was a problem starting C:/Program. The specified module could not be found." And whenever I turn on the icon in the taskbar it is gray and has three dashes.
I did a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate a month ago and everything is running well. However, I've noticed in Device Manager that there is an unidentified base device which is lacking a driver. Here is the info:
Device Type: other devices Manufacturer: unknown Location: PCI bus 9, device 1, function 3 Device Status: The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.
Updating the driver through both the internet and searching through my computer has not found a driver. Any ideas on what the issue might be?
I recently wiped my hard drive and installed Fedora, but found several applications I needed would not run.So I re-installed Windows 7, but blasted all my partitions and hence all my device drivers.I can connect to internet via an ethernet cable, but wireless network in not working. Can you direct me to which device driver(s) I might need to re-install?
I have an HP Pavilion dv5-1183cl that has been upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate (32bit) and I have some issues.I have four errors showing up in my device manager, three Base System Device and one Unknown Device, and I don't know what they are or where to get the drivers (since I don't know what they are). Additionally, the battery will not charge (there does not appear to be anything wrong with it physically). I am wondering if the below errors are related to the battery issue. Below are the hardware IDs for each error entry.
Base System Device (PCI bus 6, device 0, function 1): PCIVEN_197B&DEV_2382&SUBSYS_3603103C&REV_00PCIVEN_197B&DEV_2382 &SUBSYS_3603103CPCIVEN_197B&DEV_2382&CC_088000PCIVEN_197B&DEV_2382&CC_0880
I had an HP DV6500t with a 320GB Western Digital Scorpio Black (7200 rpm) with Windows 7 and all my data loaded on it.
After 3 years the HP's motherboard and 8400gs GPU completely fried, so I decided to part out the rest of the laptop and I just bought a Studio XPS 1640. It is beautiful,
it came with the 1gb 4670, the 16inch RGBLED display etc, but only has a 250gb hard drive .....
When I turn on the power for computer there's a beeping noise coming from the hard drive I think and this message comes up in blue letters with a black background
" Boot Device Not Found
Please install an operating system on your hard disk.
Hard Drisk (XXX)
F2 System Diagnostics
When I run the system diagnostics for the Hard Disk Test, it says: "Hard Disk Test Failed Hard disk not exist"
What do I do? I went to the website but its suggesting that I basically may have to do a system recovery to the factory installed state...I have a lot of stuff I don't want to lose.
I also tried removing the hard drive and putting it back in, that didn't help either.
I called tech support and I still have my warrranty so I will be getting a Hp box to put my tablet in within a few days. But they told me I would most likely lose all the data I have saved.
Then I used a liveCD in hopes of backing up my harddrive but the liveCD won't even boot..unless im doing it wrong...( burn iso to CD, then load CD into laptop, and press f10? and/or turn on computer with CD inserted in and then let it load if it wants to?)
I experienced my first BSOD today on my 5 month old Inspiron. I was a little concerned but figured it'd be find and just restart. However my laptop never restarted, instead I was greeted by 'no bootable device found. Press any key to restart'
Now I've browsed the Internet and taken a few steps, firstly I ran the diagnostics in the bios and it was saying my hard drive wasn't installed. Then I followed a guide on this forum. I changed the Sata from ACHI to Intel Smart Technology, however now I'm unable to get back into the boot settings and instead my laptop just stalls on the Dell boot up screen.
All this has literally happened out of nowhere today, I run my own business and I rely heavily on my laptop. I can't afford to lose any documents. I'm baffled how it can just malfunction out of nowhere.
So, after a clean install of windows 7 i go to install the bluetooth software from broadcom's site the install utility reports that it cannot find a bluetooth device, and that i should enable the device/turn the device on problem is no bluetooth devices are listed in the device manager and there's no button on the laptop to enable/disable the bluetooth controller. I do not want to install the hp wireless assistant.
the Hard drive on my HP ENVY dv4 crashed and I have replaced it with a Samsung SSD 840 PRO. I dont have a back-up and have had to purchase a new version of Windows 8.I am trying to install this operating system, but when I turn on the computer it tells me that there is no boot device is found. How to I get the computer to read the new windows 8 disk that I have purchased so that I can install the operating system?
I just got my Inspiron 14 for my birthday in March and Its died on me (I assume). It's still under warranty, but im not entirely sure how or where to send it to get it fixed. I still have the original box it came in as well and would love to get it fixed as soon as possible, but I would rather fix it myself if possible.Upon starting the laptop, a black screen appears with the message, "No Boot Device Found. Press any key to reboot the machine". I ran a diagnostic and it said that the hard drive wasn't installed and that the CPU fan went out. I removed the back of the laptop and checked the fan which seems to be running absolutely fine. I took the error code it produced and searched it on the website and it told me to download the latest BIOS but I can't because the laptop won't start up to where I can get on the internet.
The Biometric Fingerprint device on my HP Pavilion dv6 laptop is not working. I get the message:
1. The Fingerprint reader is not detected (during start up prior to logging in). 2. Windows did not find any biometric devices on this computer ( when I checked via Control Panel).
I went into this challenge when I reinstalled my windows 7 o/s after I realised I had some corrupted files and so could not install an HP printer on my computer. Unfortunately I did not have the original restoration file so I had to do reformating and reinstallation of the o/s.
i bought a acer laptop @ bestbuy and it came with preinstall vista home. i used the computer fine and all and the internet connects to my router find and was surfing the internet. i then decided to install a fresh copy of my own vista ultimate because i dont like the preinstall stuff that they did because it just clutters up space. after i finish my install of vista ultimate, my laptop doesn't connect to the internet. i know this is simply but i dont see network adapters under the device manager in the computer management screen. i am worried because if i have to install the driver, then i would see some icons with a yellow exclamation mark, but i dont see NETWORK ADAPTERS AT ALL. i dont know how to solve this? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks all. i've tried to press scan for new hardware changes but still i dont see the network adpaters. i thought if you install vista ultimate, then it will install the wireless drivers for you too.
I have an HP Pavilion 11-h013dx x2 pc running windows 8 and this weekend all of a sudden my computer shut down. When I restarted it I was given a blue screen which gave me the option to restore and refresh. I tried both options but the computer shut down when it got to 15% of restoring. Then when I turned on the computer it gives me a black screen saying boot device not found. I hit F10, enter, F9, enter, then exited and saved, that did nothing. I ran the hard disk check which passed. I ran the memory check and that failed with the code RQDATS-6T079C-MFPWWK-002103. I can't remember what other screen I was on when I got a different error code, but this one came up as well at some point and I wrote it down RQDATS-6T079B-MFPWWK-001H03.
I just reinstalled windows 7 on my edge 13 (cause the system really slowed down), everything's working so far, expect the WLan Device. The network adapter (realtek RTL8168D/Familie-PCI-E-Gigabit-Ethernet-NIC) is properly detected, if i plug in a Lan cable I have got a connection.
I already tried this Lenovo Update tool, it installed some drivers and updates, but still no change. I already tried all Wifi drivers from lenovo homepage without success. Hitting the F9 Button didn't change a thing.
I am trying to resolve a driver issue. I have an E6500 and after installing XP, patches, drivers and the like, I am left with one hardware device not found. It is listed within the Device Manager as "5880" and after some investigation it appears to be the Broadcom USH CV for a fingerprint reader. I do not have a fingerprint reader installed. I have extracted the drivers from another system and pointed the hardware wizard there but to no good effect.
I have had a Pavillion g6 2270dx for a little over a year (just out of warranty) and when I power up, the message "Boot Disk not found" appears. Along with "please install an operating system" "Hard Disk (3FO). I have tried all the solutions on line without any success.
Recently I have had problem doing external monitor calibration under Win 8.1 64-bit. It turned out that that monitor did not show up in the "Device" pull-down menu in the Color Management. So I update the Intel HD graphic 400 driver. It didn't work. Then I uninstall the video driver and re-install from the scratch. Now I have found even the built-in monitor did not show up at the Color Management. Only printers show up in the Device pull-down menu.
I wonder if there other software or driver that I need to install? Or I have mseed up so One-touch Restore will be required?
